I have a similar situation. I’m 13 (almost 14) and I weigh 126 pounds. I would always consider this overweight because I looked up the weight of models (some of them weighed 90 pounds). I look average exempt I have a little bit of belly fat. I stopped eating for a week, and that week was the worst in my life. I was weaker, my head hurt a lot, and I would get dizzy and see hallucinations. I may not be “skinny” but I’m know I’m different and that is what sets me apart from other girls. Exactly. The only way you can possibly be 45 pounds is if your ensanely short. I was 3’9 when I was 9/10 so that’s why I was 45 pounds. Now I’m 4’11 (average height for my age. I had a big growth spurt.) and I weigh 110 pounds. So ya it really just depends on age and height.

A few months ago, I had weighed about 210 pounds and was always on the heavier side since I was young. I then developed anorexia and stopped eating. It was summer and every day I only had an apple or some jello to eat. Everyone noticed my rapid weight loss, they said I looked so good which didn't help me at all. My parents were worried for me and tried to feed me food. I went to the doctor for my physical and he said it was good I lost weight because I was 174 pounds, then he found out how I lost it and said that it wasn't good for me to lose it that way and then he sent me back home saying that I need to lose some more weight but in a healthy way and that I need to eat. I ate more but not enough, a week before school started, I went to get blood test and ended up passing out due to malnutrition. That was my first wakeup call but it didn't work, I still didn't eat enough since I had this bad voice inside my head. I went back to school and everyone was impressed by how much weight I lost and they told me I looked good and asked me questions about how I did it, I always replied with "I didn't do anything, probably just because I got taller"(I had grew a lot that summer). I was only eating an apple for breakfast, a few bites of salad for lunch, and a small dinner portion. My parents tried to help me eat more but I lied about the amount I ate at school and said I had a burrito, salad, and milk. Then a few weeks after school started, I went for a follow up check up and it turns out I lost more weight and was 147 pounds, they checked my sugar and it was extremely low do they gave me orange juice but it went even lower. Then they gave me bread and yogurt, it went up a little. It was still to low so they called an ambulance so it could transport me to the hospital. They gave me a tube of sugar paste and it went up to an ok number. At the hospital, they took blood test, asked me tons of questions, and had me talk to lots of doctors and nutritionists. I had to skip school the next day because that night they needed to check my sugar every hour or two while I slept. I hate missing school so I ate as much as every meal they gave me so I could go home. My blood test came back good so I was able to leave that afternoon. Being there was a big wake up call, I ate my meals but small portions since my stomach had shrunk in size. I then started eating more when I felt ready. Went back to the doctor a week ago and I am 145 which I and my family knows is good since when I was weighed at home a week prior I was 140. Doctor said they had told him to put me under his "radar", he told me to gain a few pounds so they can know I'm doing better. I eat eat better now. I have my three meals a day with snacks in between. I have an appointment with a thyroid specialist in a few weeks since they want to make sure I'm fine since thyroids run in my family. My doctor said if the specialist says I'm fine which we hope he does that he will send me to a teen clinic where I will have therapy and nutrition classes. I weighed myself about two days ago and I am still 145(good for my height) so I didn't lose which is good but I also didn't gain. If you took the time to read this whole comment, thank you. Edit:Its been a while and now I eat perfectly great again. I eat my three meals with snacks and feel way healthier. Thanks you everyone for caring:) Edit #2: It's been a year since I posted this, thank you for all the sweet replies ♡ I am now finally fully recovered after these two years (I recovered a few months ago :)) and now I eat completely normally again with regular exercise to be strong and healthy. I feel so much better and happier now. I don't know my weight currently but I have become fit and strong 💜

hahaha um no. its not that easy. once you start eating again you suddenly have a temporary weight gain to save energy then it starts again and your body doesn't trust you so you try to eat more but it takes so long for your body to trust you that you give up and end up climbing a slippery staircase, once you feel you're almost at the top, you slip.

When i watch this when i was younger, I never thought I would end up with a ed. I was 150, 5’0 when I was 12. People bullied me because i was fat and ugly, that was stuck in m head so I decided to lose weight. I would exercise s lot for 30 mins and sometimes 1 hour, I wouldn’t eat a lot, I would sometimes throw up on purpose because I didn’t like the thought of eating=gaining weight. I lost about 20 pounds over 4 weeks and lost another 10 pounds over another month.

This hits me in my heart this is the same story that happend to me I had a dog named Bonze. We called him Bonzie he was a Boston Terrior he was with our family for about 14 years. My brother met him when he was 4 he is 18. My first glance at Bonzie was at the hospital when I was first born . He stayed by my side everywhere he looked inside the window where my bouncer was when I was in or out of it .We played together sleep together we snuggled we loved each other. As he was about 10 years old he started to get sick he got a skin condition and it became a bad sickness and that turned into an eye inffection and that turned into blindness and on the edge of life so I was with my sister I was playong a game called trouble with her when we ginished I went to the bathroom and when I came out of the bathroom my mom and dad were in the kitchen they said we had to put bonzie down I cried and cried I ran to bonzie and pet him everyday saying everything is going to be ok everything ia going to be fine I love you your amazing I huged him I took pictures and 3 days later he got put down at 9:15 am I cried more and more. I still cry about it sometimes I still have my pther dog but bonzie was just.. Amazing but I love them both 💀 ❤ 😭 R.I.P Bonzie may you fly high in heaven 😭 ❤ 💀
I have a similar story, I have been skinny my whole life. It’s because I have a really high metabolism. People use to think I had a eating disorder, to a point where I would eat so much to a point where I would throw it up. Today I’m 15 and I weigh 80 pounds, and yes I feel like people still think I have a eating disorder, but it’s ok because I know I don’t have one, and I love the way I am. Watching these types of stories makes me not feel alone.

First of all: Nobody is perfect. Second of all: Extremely skinny people are not always that pretty. Being skinny doesn't always mean being pretty. It is pain to be in a situation like that.
At first, I didn't want to sound too harsh, but my point was, that even if you are too skinny, you should go to a doctor and get healthy because people who are too skinny die, and saying "ugly" was meant for skinny people to be unhealthy which makes them look... This isn't a joke, its an eating disorder. Yeah, you may not understand and you may love go eat, that's good for you. But once you spiral into an eating disorder, its not a matter of liking food, you can't stop the voices and your extreme actions to just be in control and be "perfect".

I’ve always struggled with my weight. I was born with a skinny frame but when I was like 5 I just started gaining weight out of no where. I’ve had stupid boys at school calling me fat and ugly and as dumb as they are, I listened to them and I started hating myself and my appearance. My doctor said if the specialist says I'm fine which we hope he does that he will send me to a teen clinic where I will have therapy and nutrition classes. I weighed myself about two days ago and I am still 145(good for my height) so I didn't lose which is good but I also didn't gain. If you took the time to read this whole comment, thank you.
Edit:Its been a while and now I eat perfectly great again. I eat my three meals with snacks and feel way healthier. Thanks you everyone for caring:)
Edit #2: It's been a year since I posted this, thank you for all the sweet replies ♡ I am now finally fully recovered after these two years (I recovered a few months ago :)) and now I eat completely normally again with regular exercise to be strong and healthy. I feel so much better and happier now. I don't know my weight currently but I have become fit and strong 💜

hahaha um no. its not that easy. once you start eating again you suddenly have a temporary weight gain to save energy then it starts again and your body doesn't trust you so you try to eat more but it takes so long for your body to trust you that you give up and end up climbing a slippery staircase, once you feel you're almost at the top, you slip.

When i watch this when i was younger, I never thought I would end up with a ed. I was 150, 5’0 when I was 12. People bullied me because i was fat and ugly, that was stuck in m head so I decided to lose weight. I would exercise s lot for 30 mins and sometimes 1 hour, I wouldn’t eat a lot, I would sometimes throw up on purpose because I didn’t like the thought of eating=gaining weight. I lost about 20 pounds over 4 weeks and lost another 10 pounds over another month.

I had a dog named Bonze. We called him Bonzie he was a Boston Terrior he was with our family for about 14 years. My brother met him when he was 4 he is 18. My first glance at Bonzie was at the hospital when I was first born . He stayed by my side everywhere he looked inside the window where my bouncer was when I was in or out of it .We played together sleep together we snuggled we loved each other. As he was about 10 years old he started to get sick he got a skin condition and it became a bad sickness and that turned into an eye inffection and that turned into blindness and on the edge of life so I was with my sister I was playong a game called trouble with her when we ginished I went to the bathroom and when I came out of the bathroom my mom and dad were in the kitchen they said we had to put bonzie down I cried and cried I ran to bonzie and pet him everyday saying everything is going to be ok everything ia going to be fine I love you your amazing I huged him I took pictures and 3 days later he got put down at 9:15 am I cried more and more. I still cry about it sometimes I still have my pther dog but bonzie was just.. Amazing but I love them both

I have a similar story, I have been skinny my whole life. It’s because I have a really high metabolism. People use to think I had a eating disorder, to a point where I would eat so much to a point where I would throw it up. Today I’m 15 and I weigh 80 pounds, and yes I feel like people still think I have a eating disorder, but it’s ok because I know I don’t have one, and I love the way I am. Watching these types of stories makes me not feel alone.

Second of all: Extremely skinny people are not always that pretty. Being skinny doesn't always mean being pretty. It is pain to be in a situation like that.

I’ve always struggled with my weight. I was born with a skinny frame but when I was like 5 I just started gaining weight out of no where. I’ve had stupid boys at school calling me fat and ugly and as dumb as they are, I listened to them and I started hating myself and my appearance. I used to skip meals and food because I thought that would make me beautiful.
