see..now i can dig this..lot of bait and switch going on with the engine..crank,water pump and alternator on same belt..alternator drives dummy blower..Hemi valve covers hammered down to fit what seems to be a small displacement Mopar V-8 and two bomber oxygen air tanks for fuel cells..although not sure what the cross over tube is doing on top..but all and all lot of period stuff re-purposed as a true rat should be..

As a long time rodder the rat rods don't upset me. There's a lot of creativity in some of them like the one in this video but This one is more of an art car than a rat. The trend I don't like is the fake patina look.
I like it! not so much the fake supercharger tho if you're going to put one on Make It Real and make it work. I should know my rat rod truck has a supercharger and it works

I have to admit that I'm not keen. Nice collection of parts and great craftsmanship, but for me it falls wide of the mark. Move the cab to the front, keep the motor where it is, then build some bed sides to finish it off. That would work so much better.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should build it. That cannot be fun to drive.
