Quad Al shows up in the movie "Out of Sight"(1966); unfortunately just a dolly shot along the top of the Allisons, but a good look at the car in it's original build and not a static snapshot. I'm not sure who's sitting in the pilot's seat, might be Jim Lytle? A great movie for Hot Rod spotting, featuring a couple George Barris builds just for the move. There's a crappy rip on CZcams.

They did - it's called the Dart GTS 340 ;) Seriously, the hood and the grunt of this car's small block aside, Plymouth could have built a more expensive Scamp but given the reception the Demon got from the Bible Belt I doubt the bean counters would have been onboard with the project. This is - per the magazine brief - a Hot Rod and a clever take on a badge-engineered Valiant.
