- Back in 2016, Scott Simpson and a few friends put on one of the best rat rod car shows that I've had the privilege of attending, in Evansville, Indiana. Hopefully, one day, it can be held again.

I have been watching car show/rat rod videos for a long time, but this is BY FAR the sickest coolest assortment of rats I have seen EVER!!

I love the fact is they are driving the cars drag racing drifting burn outs shredding tires and burning fuel is the best A1 to all the owners.

Burnout contests (unless you're in Australia) don't really make a lot of sense. Essentially it's saying.... "I spent thousands of dollars.... to sit still!"
But it was the most fun "sitting still", no matter where you are.

All the painted up restored vehicles looked out of place. They need to sell that stuff and build or buy one that they are not afraid to drive and have fun in...

I like the looks of those contraptions, but some of them are made without any clue on what will happen, when a collision occurs. Some of them have powerful engines but with such prehistoric suspension design i wish them luck in turns... Or luck for any bystanders.
You clearly missed the point of a hotrod. No parts no plan no problem. They are not built to go to the derby. They are meant for cruising and burning rubber

@@jasonpetrich4141 my '89 e30 has electronics only in gauges. No ABS, no TC, everything manual. Even injection pump is mechanical and can be tweaked with spanner and a screwdriver. I don't like new cars too man! They're soulless.

all depends on where you live in. saskatchwan canada you can register and insure any vin that's been registered there before no inspection or anything. I bought a 57 chevy 210 that hadn't been on the road in 30 years 40 bucks and 10 minutes later I was driving it on the road.

Well a man that builds his own shit it's about how much thrashing that engine he but can take /like Nascar engine stays about 8.000-10.000 rpms for hrs but pro drag is 10-13.000 rpms for 5/8 secs then rebuilt after every race plus it's just a how can pee farther contests if you ever get they chance to try it do it

Unfortunately, that's true. I saw an SUV by the side of the road with a flat tire and four young guys watching a road side service guy changing the tire. Sad.
