Not always. Men have a tendency to hold onto their hidden regrets for yrs. Sometimes it can take awhile for them to come to terms with where they went wrong. I've had guys wait over a decade to reach out & apologize. I have one who reaches out every couple yrs just to express how much he regrets screwing up because he apparently hasn't forgiven himself. Doesn't mean you should let them back in if they do come back though.

She would get so upset cus I never fought for her. Her ex would be the type of guy to constantly beg for her. I’m not doing that. Life is to good to be depressed over another human being. Finally I ended up breaking up with her because it was getting to annoying.
