Snagit 2023 - 8 features I use every day

Snagit is one of my favorite apps. It is a simple-to-use screenshot app, and you can even record videos with it. Snagit is not your average screenshot app. There are plenty of features that other screen capture apps do not have. I'll show eight features I use daily in Snagit. We will look at using Steps in Snagit, move Selection, use the awesome Cut Out feature, plus other great features in Snagit.

The Cut Out is an amazing tool. I use the vertical and horizontal cut out tools all the time and they're actually the first tools in my Favorites. Thanks for pointing out the AutoFill option when moving things with the Selection option. I thought I had to use the Move tool to get it to fill back in.

Yes, you can change the arrow or other drawing objects.

So, when you went to "More" the screen zoomed in to enlarge the drop down menu. Is that something you did in post, or is there a quick-key to do that?

Hello Pray you are well. you print screen, select and it takes you straight to editor, what do i need to do to make that happen. Mine use to do that just yesterday, somehow i did something that added that step with the camera video or panoramic, i do not want that i want to select area and go st to editor like you did. Please help Many Blessing

In Snagit when making a video can you blur information?

Hey, Cindy. Blur is in Snagit for images, but not for videos.

Greenshot is the closest I've seen. It is free, but Snagit still does more than Greenshot, but Greenshot is a huge improvement over the default screen capture apps.

Do not waste your time with other screen captures and editors -- Snagit is worth every penny, even if you use the basic features.
