It's time for another fundraiser for our volunteer fire department -- and this year, we're having a community-wide rummage sale, in the parking lot next to Death Valley Brewing!
My neighbors and I will be selling all kinds of crazy stuff both Saturday and Sunday of Presidents' Day weekend -- that's February 17th and 18th, from 9am - 3pm.
There'll be music, pizza and snacks at the Kit Fox Cafe, ice cold beer at the Brewery...and I'll be hanging out taking photos and talking to everyone who comes by! The weather should be great, so come on down...we'd love to see you!

It is but you can't sell it unless it is licensed to be sold by a person. Think $$$. So I just bought a blue truckers cap with the foam inner front and found a place selling the Pegasus patch by itself. Glued it on with fabric glue and
wa-la instant logo hat very similar to Wonderhussy's but without her name on it.
That Saturday will be my 70th birthday and I can't think of a better way to spend it than to see you at the flea market.😊

My mother had a friend who was a “Downwinder”, she grew up in Southern Utah during the period when our government was exploding nuclear weapons in The Nevada Test Range. Her friend was diagnosed with a rare cancer that her doctors believed was caused by radiation exposure from those tests. I believe she was part of a lawsuit filed against the government for their illnesses related to the testing. I’m glad to see that the Feds are monitoring the neighboring states for radiation.
Ah, but the thing is, people get cancer some eating the wrong ice cream.

There was a male teacher at my high school that volunteered to watch the bomb go off when he was is the military. It was a day off for him CRAZY ! Anyways he probably got the more radiation from Watson at them being back on the base.

Unless I’m mistaken, Dan worked at “Steak and Beer” when I was there in Tecopa about 5 years ago. One of the best meals I’ve ever had.
I am going to tell you that you make even a berlap bag look great, and what you where is a beautiful thing.
Back when I'd get breakouts (menopause significantly has reduced them), I'd swab my face with colloidal silver solution. It killed bacteria and helped to clear my face.

If I heard right, you’re either ending your dry January in the 26th or 27th of January. That’s the bad part about having a birthday in January is nobody is drinking! However if you’re ending it on the 27th, that was my 39th birthday so hope you had a great drink! Love the whole vibe of the Death Valley Brewing!

I got sober once. That was the worst week of my life. Just kidding. I did go dry for almost two years, if anyones counting. That was after I got out of jail. That had some impact. If you can't find a place to park at the brewery, well, who's fault is that WH? I hope the city Lords can put 2 & 2 together and reward you for your non intended advertising.

The mesh back hats were originally CO OP elevator hats. When we farmed, that was the most popular hat around. Then John Deere, IH, Case, FORD, Allis-Chalmers etc.. started selling them and giving them away with equipment purchases. Probably 1972 or so.
Next time with your hat, try soaking it for a few minutes and warm water, rinse it a little bit and then shape it back to the original size and you’re in the right place to let it dry ha ha😂😮❤

I had skin issues from my teens all the way into my 50's, get a wash cloth, dip it in hot water, dab and hold on affected areas, do it for about 5 mins. The hot water kills bacteria, it will heal skin faster.

I went to a brewery once that had jalapeño beer and it was delicious with just a hint of the jalapeño. Didn’t give me heartburn at all like you would think it would.

We were at the brewery last week. We met Dan, we ate at Steak and Beer, had bbq, went to the Date Farm- and we can not wait to go back and stay at one of the hot springs.

Last ditch effort for fuzzy hat..soak it again, but this time, stretch it over something to dry. A wood block, wig stand, or anything your head size. Be sure to shape it. Then dry for days. If it fits, you can work it to soften it up. Try pet brush on fur. I hope it works for you!
I heard that Nevada nuclear fallout drifted and was detected all the way to St George Utah, and other areas of the West. Do the Tecopa town alarms sound-off when the radiation gets too high ? And try a stretch band on your Pegasus cap, it will make it really comfy, you'll never regret it. That's a pretty cool looking camouflage Jeepster in front of the brewery....take care WH !!

Thank you for taking us to the nice establishment in the town of Tecopa, CA. It was great meeting the brew master and pizza chef. They looking like they make great foods and drinks. The 6.7% ABV root beer looks interesting and must have been delicious, and the mesquite-fired pizza would have paired well with the beverage. Great blog. I had a hat just like the one you used to wear, I know exactly what you mean about the specific fit and feel. I don't know if I still have mine, if I do, it's berried under a pile of stuff in my closet. I will have to spend a little time looking for it soon, see if I still have it.
