    For those talking about reliability. I've had my 2009 Navara from 6 months old and its now on 140,000 miles and no serious problems. Aside from normal servicing, I have replaced front discs and UJ on rear prop but apart from that nothing. I'm in it every day and cover alot of miles over varying terrain. Brilliant vehicle and love being in it and driving it.

    I have and amarok and a Navara. The VW Amarok is an amazing car but is expensive, just the breaks has to be replace every 20 000 km,. The Navara have to be change every 40 000 km so this car give you more value and long life pieces than the amarok. Sorry for my grammar I'm not English native speaker.

    Thanks for the comment. The answer to that question is one that only Nissan can give definitively, but there is a crucial measurement difference. A UK gallon is approximately 4.55 litres while a US gallon is more like 3.79 litres.

    We have several mini trucks at our coal mine in south borneo. We have toyora hilux, mitsubishi strada triton, nissan navara, isuzu dmax and ford ranger. Based on our experiences in the field, i would say toyota hilux is the best mini truck weve ever used because we found no problems with it for this 3 years. Honestly i dont like the hilux very much, but that the facts i wanna share with you.

    Great to hear your positive comments. I guess that's why the Navara is one of our most popular videos!

    Thanks for the feedback. The Hilux does have an 'indestructible' reputation so your findings are not surprising (a new review will be uploaded shortly).

    Please note that the US does not get a turbo Diesel option. this is the main difference, as we have an NA I4 or the VQ4.0 V6.

    Mine has had rear leaf springs renewed,prop oil seal replaced,front disc and pads and lower shocker bushes replaced.paid 15k for it.3 year old with 34000 on clock all work done between purchase mileage and current mileage 45000 at an extra cost totalling nearly £1500..
    Servicing is expensive and returns 25 miles per gallon round town.
    Make your own mind up....

    Which of this four 4x4 trucks has a best performance: Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, Isuzu D-Max, Sitsubishi Strada?

  • @ciarantaylor367

    I don't get why the fact that 3 years of production were faulty was not mentioned. Also just in case anyone thought there was any leg room, there isn't. Good for kids, but in fairness so is a prius.

    toyota hilux vs navara, navara wins.. isuzu D-max vs mitsubishi strada, strada wins.. i choose navara than hilux because hilux is timing chain and Dmax is fuel war.. mitsubishi vs nissan.. jusy choose it.. i had navara too and its awsome.. its felt like driving something that tough situation on beach and driving on the road is smooth.. altough the diesel sometomes annoying.. and mitsubisi.. it is prettey amazing because its comfotable.. my brother have it.. its amazing.. its your choise..

    • @TheMwnciboo
      @TheMwnciboo Před 7 lety +1

      Superdsheppard 2nd or 3rd hand, these things are decent. You can find 85,000 mile ones for under £4000, great value for a 2nd run around if you live rurally, or semi-rural and need a workhorse with tow bar etc....I used mine for picking up materials from like 5 miles down the road at the wood yard, or the garden centre, its practical and my family members are always asking "Can i borrow the truck to move house, pick up a washing machine etc?" answer is yes, so long as you fill the fuel tank when you're done. Its just a solid, decent workhorse, but with modern car comforts unlike say an austere Landy defender. Engine chains can be a bit dodgy, take it to a Navara specialist, they will sort it, and a new engine/reconditioned one is like £800, which i think is reasonable if you will run the thing into the ground, which i will....
