    Subbed and liked. Thank you for providing this guide. If i want to leave yokohama and go back to tokyo station, would it be the same exact instructions reversed? A direct trip is preferred. Also the return trip from yokohama to tokyo station would be during golden week. Any recommendations? Would shinkansen or another train line be more conveneient? Thank you !

      Thanks!! Yes it's exactly the same. However there's a faster way to go back to Tokyo Sta.
      If you are around Minato-Mirai area, go to Sakuragicho Sta and take Keihin-Tohoku Line or Negishi Line, get off at Yokohama Sta and then transfer to Tokaido Line to Tokyo Sta. It's 10 min faster.
      Usually the train during the golden week is not so crowed compared to weekdays. So u don't have to worry about it.

    Is one day enough to see All the attractions in Yokohama? What about Transformer robot?

      I think one day is enough for Yokohama. I see you are coming in May right? Unfortunately GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA is closing end of march.

    So what does the code 580 really mean?

    • @wearelostinjapan
      @wearelostinjapan  Před 12 dny

      Hi! It’s the ticket from Tokyo to SakuragiCho station. It’s 580JPY.

    I wish you would’ve showed more details, but I will say you’re the first CZcams vid to show more detail than other videos. I have a few questions. Can you pay for ticket by credit card instead of cash? You said people can get ticket at counter but usually long lines. Can credit card be used to buy ticket at counter? Also can I buy SUICA card and use it like a debit card for tickets? I wish you would’ve showed how you walked to the platform or explain it in more detail. Thanks
    I be staying near Toyocho station for weeks in Tokyo around May and want to take a day trip to Yokohama. So I have to buy ticket to Tokyo station from Toyocho station? Then buy ticket from Tokyo station to Yokohama using Yamanote line? Why 580? What does that mean? Also you didn’t mention how to get to gate? How did you know it was platform 6 and not 3 at 1:36? Does the intercom tell us ahead of time each stop?

      Hi Thanks for watching and comments! Yes you can use your credit card or debit card at counter and vending machine. You can not buy SUICA card any station right now. So make sure to buy a Suica for tourist called "Welcome Suica", which you can only buy at Haneda or Narita Airport.
      From Toyocho Sta, take subway called Tozai Line to Otemachi Sta, and then walk to Tokyo Sta. It's about 5min away.
      From Tokyo Station, take Keihin-Tohoku Line not Yamanote. This Keihin-Tohoku Line only stops at platform No.6. They do announce each station in English.

      I do not understand. Although we do not issue physical cards, you can use the Suica card app on your iPhone.

      @@wearelostinjapan I prefer to use physical SUICA card…I dont have iPhone…I have android phone and I like physical card in case phone doesn’t work, but a physical card will always be in my wallet and pocket. Is Welcome SUICA not a physical card? If not, I can still pay for it by credit card right?
