As someone who struggles with this, I'm personally way worse with interrupting when I'm enjoying the conversation. I'm just super into it and get overexcited and cut people off because I'm really enjoying the conversation. So try not to take it as thorin devaluing other opinions, as I do it most often specifically when I'm having interesting conversations. I genuinely dont understand why people dislike Spunj. Ive been watching CS a long time and hes in my top 3 talent. The dude bleeds the game, gives great insight, I enjoy his casting with Machine, and his rants involving "we are killing our game" are some of the best in esports. Truly one of a kind.
Spunj sometimes gives passionate takes which can be seen as out of line. He also makes bold predictions sometimes. But yeah, he's my favourite analyst/caster and one of my favourite people in the scene in general. He's top tier.
I don't know what the general community sentiment about Spunj is, but in Richard Lewis' community people have been banging on him for taking the Saudi bag (like everyone else) and avoiding Richard Lewis at the EPL where CS2 got announced so no-one would think he was the one who talked. All a bit silly, Richard has said as much after patching things up with him at the Major.
Underrated great coach in CS rn is maaRaa for the mongolz, what he has done along with bLitz has to be in the conversation in some of the most impressive work in CS for sure.
can people stop saying device already succeeded as IGL, he didn't win anything... and best result was at a post major tournament for which other teams didn't prep or care much about, while astralis prepared for a month

Big fan of the discussion, as always. Maniac and Spunj are two of the best in the business. Thorin was on the mark as well, nothing new there. His passion for the sport always comes through. I think there were a good few instances though where Chad could have been allowed to finish the point he was trying to make. Thorin is usually a gracious host, and often re-prompts his guests to continue their trains of thought, but it'd be nice if they could just finish first. Though I'm the first to understand, zoom calls make "natural" sort of discussion harder. This aint a fuckin yelp review tho. Good stuff as usual.
Stop interrupting people. Couldn't make it through 15 minutes let alone 2 hours. God knows you're going to get your yammering in. Give other people space to talk.
who is a more valuable player, the one that wins you the trophy/cash, or the one that carries your team to the final and then disappears, leaving you with no trophy and consolation cash?
ZywOo being a team player is the reason I like his game so much. However the fact m0NESY is a team player and can take over games is next level. Note: There is a reason NAF is my favourite player, because he does whatever the team needs to win.
At 1:35:00 one big reason I think of that seems trivial but really could be in a player's head is you have the in game trophy you can display on your cs profile in game. So JL getting that and an MVP is like yeah why try so hard anymore, I have the proof that puts me as #1 and can show it any time. It may be a while before that fades and the competitive hunger comes back.
I don't think Niko would go to Navi if monesy leaves g2. They have different playstyle, team environment, and there's an igl with whom they didn't seem to find common ground. Plus he doesn't strike me as a guy who'd make a risk like this, even if it meant he wins more trophies.
I hate to listen to Thorin as he speaks as if a bunch of dogs are chasing him, and he has to speak as fast as he can. Jumping from one topic to another so fast makes all his talk seem irrelevant.
