your going though the same stuff as myself. I lost all my fish at 6 months. Man it’s hard to keep going. I totally neglected the tank for the following 3 months. When fish were adding again I had every just like you have now. But I’m about a year and half in. I must say I’m pretty pleased. I’m happy to see a pro reefer as yourself sharing all the bad side’s. Because it shows everyone it happens to you guys too.

I saw you've got an AC unit adjacent to the tank. I have one behind my tank build as well and I'm wondering if I need to worry about the tempreature or evapouration when its running?
Two of my lfs keep their coral tanks at 1.020. And fish at 1.015. I was very shocked but the corals all look good. So i can see why 1.022 didn’t affect your corals. The problem is that when acclimating i have to go even slower and the corals take longer to adjust to my tank. It may take 2 weeks before they open as puffy as they were in the shop.
Have thought about using formalin instead off copper?
Good luck with the expensive QT! Did you slowly ramp up to full therapeutic with the angel? By the way, you inspired me to finally start quarantining with copper.
Does the ATO not have a mechanism to stop overfilling? Mine stops after a certain amount of time and alarms.
What brand do you use?
@@robinvangorp3433 Reefloat - a UK made "cottage industry" company, but highly respected. You can set how long you want it to fill continuously for before it shuts off (30 seconds up to 10 mins I think) and the alarm is really loud. Would definitely wake you up!
How much it cost you
That's a Majestic Angel fish which is not expensive at all😅

The Tiger Angel fish is more expensive but still not as expensive or nice as a Clarion Angel fish!
