  • BMW M2 COMPETITION VS TESLA MODEL 3
Hello all and welcome back to another video! In Today's video you join me in my BMW M2 Competition, and my Dad in his New Tesla Model 3 Long Range. With Tesla's getting more and more popular these days and known for their ridiculous performance in a straight line, I thought why not see how they compare to a real petrol performance car. On paper these cars are very similar when it comes to 0-60 times and price, so how does the well loved BMW M2 fair against the all electric Tesla Model 3 in straight line?
I hope you all enjoy the video as it was just a bit of fun, if you did enjoy the video don't forget to like, comment and SUBSCRIBE

Be interesting to see what the performance model would do with over 100hp more

Choice would be m2 100%, petrolhead through and through. Would say one thing tho, apparently the teslas aren’t as quick the lower the battery charge.

As a Tesla model 3 performance owner, and long time subscriber, due to previously having a M140i when you had your first one. I just need to correct you regarding battery charge. The charge level makes a massive difference on mine, and I’m sure it’s the same on your dads long range too. The performance drops off massively as the charge level falls, esp below 50%. You need to compare when the Tesla is fully charged for fairness. I nearly bought an M2C but settled on the M3P, which is massively quicker than the M2C and my old M140.

First 40-70 you jumped, you two both can’t play fair… haha need a long piece of tarmac and not on a road! Reckon this would be even closer if 100% charge… I remain on the fence.

Your just not going to get faster than electric the Tesla s plaid will beat any supercar the acceleration is mind boggling the brakes feel underpowered just because the sheer speed, all cars Iv ever driven the brakes will scrub the speed off faster than it accelerates, electric plays mind tricks on you of what’s possible, if you think you have a fast car think again it brings a whole new level to the table, all cars will be stupid fast you can no longer brag about 900bhp etc it doesn’t matter electric will destroy any and once Porsche get involved properly with ev they will get the Nurburgring lap record for sure, Tesla is just a tech company their goal is to have no steering wheels in the car, once the big car company’s get involved with electric properly its going to get nuts their will be new lap records for sure
