I am so excited for this series!!! Seeing someone save something like this almost makes me cry! These old homes are truly works of art and it just makes my heart happy to see them brought back to life. Can’t wait for the next video!
It is so great to see this family’s pride in this historic home by repairing its many sore spots and bringing it back to life. I often wish more people would fix up existing homes no matter what the scale. This is fascinating to watch, thank you so much for this video, and to the family for allowing me a “sneak peak” 🌷
The cap of your grandmother's fence is the most important part of the longevity. Hardwork and great construction is wonderful. Keep Going!
I am sooooo excited to see a Victorian garden design! The Victorian era of fashion, home Interiors and gardening has always fascinated me. I cant wait to see it all come to life!
This is going to be incredible! 😊 God bless
I really appreciate and admire this family taking on such a massive restoration project. Amazing wood sculpture work... can't wait to see inside and out when it's finished!
Can't wait to see Jack's design. This looks like an amazing project.
Love the house. Love the history of the house. I cannot wait to see the landscape design and your brother's woodworking. It is going to be fantastic. Thanks for bringing us along. Fun to see landscape design from the very beginning of a project that complements the house.
wonderful to follow along. I live in an old 10,000 sq ft shingle-style home in Canada and can really appreciate the scale of the project.
So excited for this. Love Victorian homes

What a wonderful old home, so many stories it could tell. I can't wait to see what garden designs you have for this beauty and it must be nice to work with your brother on another project.
Such a beautiful home! So excited to see your finished vision for this beauty Jack!
That tease at the end of the interior of the home was intriguing. Can’t wait to see the architecture and artefacts. Love from sunny (but very wet at the moment) Sydney, Australia.
Ofcourse you were hired! The finest of them all! It's going to be fabulous, and yes indeed, a gift to the community! Would be tough being their neighbors there. Hard to live up to!
I love everything about this 'project'! And what you shared with us at the end is very interesting; it sent me on a research trail about the original company. Thanks for sharing everything with us. They chose The Best to landscape the property. Blessed community, too!

You're such a natural at talking to the camera. I love your channel . Hi from ottawa 🇨🇦 👋
I used to live in an old Victorian that was over 120 yrs.old, back in the mid 70’s. It was similar to this, and my parents were re-storing it, which ran into thousands of dollars,so I can appreciate everyone’s hard work, and can’t wait to see it all finished, but even more excited to follow y’all along while bringing it back to life! My parents sold our old Victorian after I was married 1984). They were getting to old to take care of it,and it was way to big for them ,so can’t say I blame them! By the way, my bedroom was the front turret, which I furnished with a wicker day bed and table found in our attic! How cool was that? My parents let it go to the new owners, which was also so cool..who knows how long it was in that attic, and it was closed in by another wall,we discovered during renovations during 1976! So cud’s to all who are involved in this renovation! Thanks for sharing, and I know between you and your brother alone ,it’s gonna be awesome!❤️
I love these before and after transformation videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them, Jack.
Can’t wait!

Thank you so much for your videos! Your projects are an amazing look into spaces/places we wouldn’t normally see!
Jack is back in MI! Let the landscaping begin. This project is going to be beautiful when completed. It's great to have you back in MI and I'm excited to see the projects you're able to share with us this year.
Impressive plans. Looking forward to seeing more videos.
Looking forward to all the future video's for this project. House looks amazing
Love the history of this home but the best part will be your amazing landscape and hardscape design (and the fences and details of your brother's design) being mindful of the era in which it was built! I envision lots of roses, peonies and possibly hydrangeas as structural shrub elements, as well as a whimsy cottage garden in one area to relax formality and entice the eye to a magical and playful view. Can't wait to see the entire transformation! So exciting!

After returning from Florida, it must be fun for you to go through spring a second time. It's my favorite time of year!

Get it Jack 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Can't wait!! It's going to be awesome!!! Must cost them a fortune! Sounds like this family is pretty awesome!!
They are!!
thanks!
What a massive property. I'm surprised they are allowed to put up a fence seeing that there are no fences on any of the other houses. It will be interesting to follow you doing the landscaping. Hi from Australia.
Lolz I would make this so Gothic with a very black white red pink and purple flowers and foliage... with bright chartreuse pops and tons of tropicals in pots🤣
FUN!
I like watching someone more "local". Have never been to the island but I live in Algoma................3 blocks from the lake.
I would like to see how you deal with the soil compaction in the areas where you are removing the concrete.
Ok! No problem-
Hope they will have a garage. Probably needed for winter
Do you have another video on this landscape? Looking forward to it!
Soon
🏡 ~I'll be joining you JB to monitor the progress on this spectacular project! Can't wait for the house tour, your phenomenal landscape, & Emory's fence & gate work!⭐ ~Much viewing pleasure all summer!! 🤗
~♥️👍💯♥️👍💯❤ ~🪴
Seems like it would have been a great idea to continue with his product instead of plastic. How neat would that be.
Everyone needs dishes, honey!
Think they'll regret getting rid of the concrete
The fence should mimic the woodwork that's already on the house including what I call the carport lol
It will~~~
The concrete will be replaced , in the right places, with a stone patio with brick inlay “rugs” in it…. ;)
Still waiting for the house tour on this one
You aren’t worried about the dogs digging under the fence?
Nah…. Real good dogs-
This makes me proud to be a Michiganian or is it Michigander 🤣 Cheers from Oxford & Houghton Lake🫶🏻
