My Father died when I was five years old, 62 years ago. Your book for children is wonderful. Because my Father was sick, our house had to be quiet a lot of the time. I was pretty horrible because I didn't talk, I screamed. Everyone would try to get me what I wanted to make me quiet. So, I looked at books a lot. Once they got me talking, they found out I could read very well. So your book would have been a god-send. In those days, little children did not go to funerals so I have to rely on other people's memories of my Father's funeral. Recently, I read a book called "Fatherless Daughters". It really spoke to me. I had always thought that I was because I thought of my Father every day. Why? This book explained many things to me so that I could put things into perspective. I gave a copy to my sisters. Now, when I ask funeral homes and hospices about their efforts to include and educate children, I still get the blank stare with a comment like they rarely have small children around and that they just don't understand. Sorry that I have rambled but I was really touched that you would have such a book for younger children. Is it possible to receive one for a reference and maybe my inner child could learn something? Of course, I know that you have a copyright, etc. I probably would read and, maybe, show it to funeral directors in order to do business with you. Maybe it would open a few doors for funeral directors to understand their little clients. Just a thought. Thank you again.

I’ve been privileged to be in this funeral home professionally, (picking someone up) and while waiting was told to feel free to roam, and it is a beautiful building in every way. The staff, same way, top notch. My aunt was also buried in TC, and Reynolds-Jonkhoff handled her services. Once again couldn’t be happier

Beautiful building. I find it fascinating that funeral homes are so glamorous in America. I am in the UK and they are small and more basic.

@Robert Gardea I have never seen one one that scale. To be honest, I prefer the ones I have seen in Britain. They feel more intimate and personal.

It’s because they basically charge people an arm and a leg. Perform unnecessary services. The funeral industry in the US is corrupt.

I love this home it is so beautiful!!!! And you know why you all do so well it's because of you and your family and the detail and care that goes into every service it shows on your face and I wish you had one here in az. I have been watching everything that goes into a funeral I've watched embalming and everything from a-z like how the body is prepared the eye's closed and mouth. I am very into it. I watch the dead bodies very bad ones. But I am not in good health and I am disabled or I would have gone to school for it. But I am a nana and that keeps me going!!! But thank you for caring for our loved ones! Take Care Lavonne

Hi , Lindsey ! Vinny here . Just wanted to say I always dated what I call the funeral girls in high school . You know , the girls that came from a family that was in the funeral business . They were the ones in my time that everybody shunned . Isn't that awful ? Nobody would take them out . I did ! I also worked part time for a few funeral homes while in high school and after I got back from my service duties . Things were so different back then . Me and the girls had so much fun over those years here in Daytona Beach ! One of the girls also became a Hawian Tropic model while she was in colledge ! Oh , my , those were the days ! We'd go to the pier and watch the Almond Brothers play , then long drives all night on the beach while partying . What memories ! And I've got to tell younow I'm 65 years old and it seems like yesterday . If anybody dosent want to date a funeral girl ,I will , and treat her like the lady she is ! Your good friend Vinny in good old Fla.

I would never work at a funeral home that has more than two women cause they don't pick up bodies, caskets, chairs, big wreaths, put up tents, wash cars, cut grass. Not being mean but it's the truth. This business is very physical and women just want to drive cars, pick up a pen, answer the phone and pass tissue out and wants to be seen standing or walking up and down the aisle or hallway and talk
