Incredible seems a bit weak of a descriptive word for this home and gardens. Goodness gracious, Jack!, you've outdone yourself with this one. You should be very proud and the owners should be very honored to have you in charge. Absolutely stunning. Those stone masons are so in point and yes, studs is a good word for them.
Cant wait to see it later this fall when everything has had a chance to get settled and start filling in a bit.

However you......... could see an unbelievable vision!!! This job is amazing to say the least!!! Wow! You should be proud! You've come up with some amazing creative solutions for such a complex and LARGE project. It is truly a work of art what you've done. Though the environment is woodsy and earthy, there's also something modern and innovative about the way you designed this landscape. I love your signature stonework, but I have to say, of all your projects, if there was ever perfection in the laying of stone, this would be it. Loved the gnarly stump hiding the well, too. What was the black building on the property used for? Thank you for showing us the progress on this project. It's beautiful.
Ahh, I fell in love with that Breo fire pit last year and have been dreaming ever since of how to create a haven for it.
I smothered lawn because hand pulling creeping Charlie wasn't eradicating it. I'm interested in that grid material for under a flagstone/pea gravel path. It won't get the traffic this property will have, but I like its stability.

I ended up putting sand between my flagstone and just love it. I tried growing moss with no luck. I also planted some perennials in between some of the cracks and hope they survive the winter here in Iowa. Love your videos!

What a great project! The house is beautiful and the landscape compliments it perfectly. I love how Jack explains the structures behind (underneath) the design and softscape. I am not a fan of the curvy lines, but it looks like the hardscape is installed very professionally. Do the clients ever need plowing in the winter? Even summer residents normally have their properties cleared of snow. How do the gravel driveway and green joints hold up with snow plowing and shoveling? ❄️❄️❄️
When you own a home of this caliber you have heated sidewalks and driveways.

I love and admire your work and study the details. This project is equally as impressive as the others! Couple of questions... 🤔🤔🤔 Why the rock around the foundation of the house? Do you have issues with the birch trees' roots becoming invasive to the foundations of the structures? Thanks to you and the homeowner for sharing!
I love the stone there! In Germany, you do that for splash, to keep the house walls tidy. Here in Michigan, about all you see is foundation plantings. It gets really boring!

I love this landscape. I always learn something about design from you. It truly is in the details. Question: What's the name of the grid product you put in for the grass parking areas? I searched for "perm base" and found cement board.
I can't find one with the name he mentioned either, but if you search "permeable driveway grid" a lot of options come up.
Hexpave or easy pave are the permabase products we’ve used

Pray that everyone in Florida is safe from Ian. Hit Fort Myers & Sanibel really hard. Isn't your Florida business in that area?
Your landscape is beautiful, however the house is way too big for that small lot and looks like many add ons to a small cottage giving the house a disjointed look. Black building? Doesn’t blend in very well. Maybe your landscape ideas will help make the property more “soft” because the house and other buildings are way too much on such a tiny piece of property with super close neighbors.
Wow.... why do you feel the need to criticize the size, color and arrangement of the buildings. This is Jack's channel about his landscape architecture and projects. He had nothing to do with the buildings themselves. If the owners of the property like the buildings that is all that matters. I find your comments rude to both the owners and to Jack.
Really nice design. But these people need too much.We all need to live with less plastic toys and junk.
