Hey wouldn’t Gaston also get the death penalty for attempted regicide 🤔
@@bobby3570 yea cuz the beast was a prince
Are u a lawyer
Lol, idk why but criminally charging a videogame character with trespassing for appearing in a different game makes me chuckle because it's such a funny concept.
I guess all those DLC guest characters in Mortal Kombat 9, X, and 11 have all committed trespassing.
I just imagine the "death sentence" as a huge anvil being dropped on his game while he's inside
In King Candy case, it's trespassing because he illegally escaped into another game, then preformed identity theft and identity fraud.
Most DLC/Crossover characters are there with the express intent and permission of their owner and whatever game they are going to, so it's not trespassing in the slightest. The exception to this rule would be Joker (Ren Amamiya) of Persona 5 when he joined the Smash Ultimate roster, as he's explicitly stated by the Smash devs to have stolen the Smash Invite from someone else in order to barge his way into Smash.
@@hisnitch As if Joker needed another criminal charge to add to his probation...

Prince Hans's reveal as a twist villain was so off-putting that it feels like the idea of him being the bad guy was thrown in at the last minute. At least for King Candy, he had foreshadowing, and the villain reveal for him made sense. Hans had no foreshadowing and no build-up ever!
I’ve heard that it WAS last minute, and Elsa was supposed to be the villain.
to be fair with the movie, you could argue that they needed to keep driving the story. But yeah, Hans does feel like a bad villain.
The FUCK?! That's not how you write a twist villain!
True, which is why I liked Turbo more as a villain
@@lordbrennagade4691 Yes, it is. There must be foreshadowing that should lead up to the villain's reveal. That's the whole idea of it!
Plus, there should be given a balance of screen time and character development for a villain, just like the creators did to their heroes. What's the point of giving your story a villain if you are not going to give him/her any character development?
I love that Hans commits 4 crimes and gets a harsher sentence than many of the other villains in the series.
Tbh he deserves a more severe sentence for how terrible a twist villain he is alone
Quality over quantity ;)

A charge that might fit Gaston's 1st Degree Attempted Murder charge is actually Attempted Regicide, as the Beast was still the Prince and was simply converted into the Beast, meaning that Gaston, whether he knew it or not, was actually committing regicide (or attempted regicide anyways)
Depending on whether the monarchy has technically been dissolved, since their prince has not been in power for the last ten years.
@@coralroper6876 Good point, but since we don't know, and the Beast still holds a pretty firm grip on the kingdom/castle, I'm just assuming that the Monarchy hasn't yet been dissolved, and is still ongoing, even as the Beast.
He did kill the beast. Agatha's spell simply brought him back to life when his body was restored to his human form.
In addition, King Candy/Turbo should have also received a charge of High Treason since he willfully carried out an overthrow of whatever monarchy was present in Sugar Rush, an addition his attempted regicide by trying to delete Vanelope’s code and trying to kill her by ramming her kart into obstacles would also count as High Treason.
Regicide is a treason
He’s added both of those already and he’s received a death sentence
I feel there were a few missed charges with Gaston
-Sexual harassment of Belle
- Theft of Belle's book at the beginning of the movie
- Destruction of property - Belle's book when it's thrown into the mud
- Stalking - let's face it, Gaston stalks Belle
- Trespassing - another charge for this when he enters Belle's house when he tries to propose to her. Add another charge for him setting up an entire wedding on her father's home property without their consent.

I don't remember if this is in the animated version. However, in the live action one Gaston knocks out Belle's father Maurice and leaves him tied by a tree in the woods
Wouldn’t Gaston also be charged with attempted regicide since Beast was a prince? Or does it not count because Beast is a deposed monarch?
He didn’t even know if he was a Prince anyway. Still would count as attempted murder though.
@@yobabycolin2933 I am pretty certain he did knew about it due to there being rumors about a beast living there or stories on how a prince got turned into a beast
He was only a minor noble, not a ruling prince. His domain didn't even extend to the neighboring village, just that castle and its grounds.
well technically, although he did live like a king since he had friends, since he was turned into a beast, I guess you cannot see him as a king, especially since he was punished via isolantist since no one else wanted to love him.
Not really, since you can argue that the kingdom the Beast would have ruled no longer exists.
For Turbo, should he get two mass genocide charges? In the story, Felix did not mention any survivors. We know Turbo survived. But what about the other characters?
I'd say yes to that. I'd also say that he should have another unlawful imprisonment (for Felix being in the dungeon too). I'd also say that he should have abuse of power, high treason, brainwashing (for altering the racer's memories), reckless driving, child endangerment, child abuse, and attempted world domination (for trying to take over the arcade)

Because Prince Hans was attacking the queen. Gaston was only invading a random beast (who actually used to be prince if I remember correctly, but the video didn't take that into consideration)
Gaston only tried to force marriage and tried to kill the beast. Hans literally attempted to usurping the throne and literally tried to kill the queen. Those are way worse than what Gaston did

If we count killing mufasa as Regicide, and trying to kill Simba as attempted Regicide, then wouldn't it also follow that we could add a charge for Usurping the throne, as well?
Yeah true
He never charged him attempting to kill simba as attempted regicide, though he should have. He charged him with attempted murder instead.
He didn't usurp, as he was the lawful holder of the title without Simba as heir
@@irmaosmatos4026 but scar was never the Rightful holder of the title, as simba was the rightful heir. Also he did usurp the throne(i don’t think he charged him when he killed mufasa, but I don’t remember) he could be charged with usurping either from mufasa, when scar killed him, or from simba(as the rightful heir) immediately after killing mufasa, when he exiled simba, then sent the hyenas to kill him.
@@jaidenbrink everybody thought Simba had died too, we the expectators know he made high treason, but after that he made eveything "legally"
Hard disagree on Gaston's verdict.
1. His battery was on a friend who suffered no apparent harm, and definitely would not press charges. I mean he was singing his friend's praises as he was getting hit.
2. He fired his weapon yes, but nobody was hurt. He'd probably get a light slap on the wrist in the form of a fine, to warn him not to do it again. But not jail time.
3. This is getting into "what's illegal back then vs what's illegal now" but it seems that Asylums in France were privately owned, and forced marriage was pretty common, depending on his wealth/ancestry he might have gotten a restraining order (Belle is clearly peasant class) but there's no way he's going to jail for either.
4. Trespassing, attempted murder, and destruction of property were all done in the name of public good. Any French law enforcement would have considered the Beast's castle to be abandoned and overrun by wildlife (beast + enchanted furniture). Also he didn't act alone, his actions were supported by an entire town.
My verdict? A ~$1000 fine and possibly a restraining order.
This video assumes modern laws. And in many places, you can be charged for hitting someone even if the victim doesn't charge you. That law was put in place because in many domestic violence cases, the victim didn't want to put the attacker in prison since they loved them. If this was real life, the friend would have been injured far more than he was from those punches.
Doesn't Gaston also get an get armed robbery as well as inciting a riot for causing everybody to forcefully enter the beast's castle with the intent of killing him? As well, everything that @CorruptedSiren said as well (-Sexual harassment of Belle
- Theft of Belle's book at the beginning of the movie

One could argue that Scar KOing Zazu counts as "Obstruction of Emergency Services" by preventing any rescue reinforcements from being summoned.
eeeeh i dont know about that, i think something like obstruction of emergency services would be if the emergency services were already called and were on their way and then you prevent them from doing their job, wouldnt it? not just straight-up preventing the emergency services from being aware of the situation at all, i would think that would be something else.
@@Templarfreak actually no, if someone intentionally prevents the deployment of emergency services is would still be "Obstruction of Emergency Services" the same charge can be put on anyone who stops another from say calling 911 after announcing they where going to do so. The intent to call for assistance was made and the attempt started only to be stopped. This is very much a crime.
@@ccaron91 im not saying it isnt a crime it just feels like that's a different crime to me but ok

Cartoon characters have long broken the laws of physics without punishment.
Worth pointing out, The Beast from Beauty and the Beast is a nobleman, and likely the liege lord of both the nearby town AND by extension, Gaston by way of heritage. That would be a guaranteed death sentence probably constituting high treason and attempted regicide, depending on how royal the beast's blood is. Considering he's referred to as a Prince, Gaston is definitely getting executed for that, and probably not a quick execution either...
Also given that Simba is the rightful monarch, Scar should have also had a count of Usurping the Throne for forcing him away and then a count of attempted Regicide for every attempt made on Simbas life after he came of age
The main problem with that is that nobody actually knew the Beast was the prince, since he kept himself secluded from the outside and seemingly never tried to explain.
Is everyone forgetting about Gaston slandering Maurice and most importantly harassing Belle
@@DannyConeHeadOnceLer Pretty much everyone in the town knew that Maurice was, ahem, 'eccentric', and he never tries to forcibly marry Belle, he just genuinely believes that she will accept his advances eventually, since that's what any of the other town girls would do. In-universe, the sabotage of two arcade machines at once is comparable to the maximum war crime of destroying planets, since the inhabitants are sentient and will have to be homeless as they leave the game for good
removing the code of a character is basically assassination
@@charmandyorton006 so, probably two death penalties.
Which would likely be carried out by deleting turbo?
@@charmandyorton006 Him ramming into the other car knowing what would happen should be considered terrorism since he knew that it would glitch the game out, thus essentially killing all of its inhabitants. For this he will get the death penalty. He can also be charged for desertion by his own game and illegally crossing a border which would earn him 5 years in prison (peacetime, execution for wartime) for desertion and a deportation for illegally crossing into the other game
And murder since once a game is unplugged, anyone still in the game gets and unable to escape dies. Also those that do escape become homeless and jobless but don't know if there is a charge there
On the property damage part with Gaston; knowing that this takes place in France probably during Medieval times the price of the statue could be extremely expensive now in modern times; but yeah that would make sense if it happened during that time.
More precisely after the plague that hitted europe in 1348
Gaston is also guilty of theft as the mirror was given to Bell as a gift from the beast.
Scar should have actually had many more charges:
1: First Degree Attempted Murder for the Elephant Graveyard
2: Conspiracy to attempt Felony Murder because he’s conspiring with his minions.
3: Putting Simba in the ravine is reckless endangerment of a minor.
4: Conspiracy to commit felony murder as he worked with his henchmen to kill the king
5: Considering by rule of succession the Prince should become king on the king’s death sending the Hyenas after Simba is also attempted Regicide. Never mind that Simba would likely have a Regent rule in his stead until he came of age.
6: He also committed wonton environmental destruction during his reign
7: Usurped the throne when he took the crown
8: The attack on Simba is again attempted Regicide as Simba is the rightful Heir and old enough to be kind.

There is no punishment he’s a lion
Turbo would also get gross negligence for not letting Ralph make the beacon, because he knew Vanelope would die
I gotta say. The worst thing about Hans is he thought he could charge Elsa with treason. She may have run away, but she still legally the queen. She never officially retired so to speak. She would've announced Anna as Arendelle's official new ruler
Right but she murdered her sister, allegedly, so she'd have been dethroned immediately when Anna's heart stopped beating. Arendelle was calling for he removal damn near since she froze the fountain so murdering her sister wasnt gonna fly, which would have made Anna next in line, which makes killing Anna regicide. Which is why he could have charged her with treason if any of this were true
The ruler is whoever the army says in the ruler. So if Hans is able to win over the army to his side, he can declare Elsa to be no longer the Queen. Sure, she has ice powers, but a large enough army might still be able to kill her.
Since King Candy caused two games to be unplugged and each arcade game contains it's own world, you could make an argument for charging him with 2 counts of mass genocide (or maybe hundreds/thousands of counts of manslaughter)
Not sure. The characters could've been alive and homeless (or living in different games) offscreen.
I love how Prince Hans has one of the smallest criminal records but 2 death penalties
4:00 since we never see any of the other turbo time characters or any characters from Road Blasters, it can be assumed that they all died because of turbo getting their game unplugged,
Thus, I think Turbo also gets negligent homicide
One could argue that Turbo forcing Ralph to watch as the Cybugs corner and try to eat his friends counts as torture.
The Mutilations from Dr. Facilifier could also be counted as Transfiguration Without Consent.

I just wish they didn't put in the line "If only someone loved you." It was too much of a whiplash from what he acted like earlier. I know he's a cartoon villain, but he shouldn't sound like one. It would have been better if he had said something like "I'm sorry, Anna, but I can't help you. I don't really love you. And unfortunately, you will have to die in order for me to take control of the kingdom. Please understand that it isn't personal." That would show that he was willing to kill for power, but didn't take pleasure in it. That would be far more believable than what we were given.@@FluffyEclairs
I really appreciate you remaking your previous videos with the new format, learning the actual charges and having the explanations for more nuanced charges makes them far more entertaining, informative and engaging. Keep up the great work!
ps. and the running gags and general humor are nice touches
Iirc he now has the Disney villains part 2 and the Dreamworks villains part 2 left.
8:13 Scar made the plan to kill Mufasa he told Simba to stay on the rock so he wouldn't die and would have to watch but Simba ended up going off the rock into danger but still Scar's plan was to kill Mufasa.
and Get Dead
Scar obviously wanted Simba dead since he sent his hyenas after him. But he wanted Simba on the rock so that he would still be alive when Mufasa came. If Simba died too early, then Mufasa might not jump in after him and might survive.
Dude, if I ever need a lawyer I'm going to HEAVILY consider you. In fact most superheroes should have you as one.🤣😂
I should note that, by causing two machines to be unplugged, due to how the world of Wreck-It-Ralph works, would cause the destruction of both worlds and mass displacement of their citizens, even assuming they all successfully ran away. We can see that, at the very least, an entire city exists in one of the games.
Mass genocide and destruction of two worlds.
Anyone doing that IRL would get the death sentence where that is not abolished, life with "accidental" death to guards or other inmates if it is.
A 1200 dollar fine is so light there would be full-blown uprisings in response.
funny how you start with turbo's hacking crimes and only after that you talk about regicide, great video
6:16 is anyone not talking about this part
Hans's betrayal was shocking, but not in a positive way.
He looked like a cool guy and behaved like one too. If he was originally intended to be a villain, he would have attempted to kill Elsa at the Ice Palace.
I agree I always felt Hans was a sloppy villain put together. He wasn't horrible by any means but he did seem pretty last minute. I kind of wished he had shown his true colors at least once before being revealed and a good time for that would have been at the Ice Palace. Where Hans reveals his plan to Elsa before attempting to kill her.
I like how Hans wasn't an overt villain like Maleficent or Jafar. IRL, real "villains" we encounter are much more likely to present themselves like Hans than Cruella. Plus, I think many women know about "that guy" who was more interested in what he could get for himself out of a relationship than the person he's lying to about loving.
He did attempt, but not openly to kill Elsa. At the time at the ice palace, Han and the others were seeking to arrest her and run trial, not kill. That is why Han fired at the ice chandelier. It was an attempt to kill Elsa, but not so obvious that it appeared he did it to protect his men and to capture her.
However, Han is a rather sloppy villain
@@_Toxicity I mean, yes, but I think the writers resulted in making him, unknowingly and ironically, cartoonishly evil. As Elsa reveals her powers in the palace one of the generals tries to shoot her-Hans stops him from killing her. Why? It was EXACTLY what he wanted, he wouldn't be the one put to blame AND he wouldn't have to deal with a magical being anymore to become the king. After that all that would be left would be either tricking Anna into submission or killing her. Instead, he wants to kill them BOTH BY HIS OWN HANDS. Making a situation like I described would be much more realistic and much more like a real-life villain but of course it would be too heavy for Disney standards
Nerfing Turbo's charges is crazy, he's practically a war criminal if you note every game he's broke as a nation or a planet in on its self
He's only getting charged for what he did to the human world. After all, if we got sentenced for all the game characters we ever killed, we'd probably get sentenced to 1000 lives in prison, and probably death to some of us.
@@danielyuan9862 But he IS a game character. He deserves to be charged for damages he does to the games.
@@danielyuan9862 he was charged with regicide of a game character so I'd say he deserved at least a few mass murder charges too
I was thinking a terrorism charge for him happily going along with the destruction of the game
@@testerwulf3357 he's already established rules for that sort of thing like when Ultron kills Jarvis AI vs AI
counted as murder, essentially sentience constitutes it
I love the sound that appears at the end of each case

Wouldn’t Gaston attempting to kill Beast be attempted regicide as he was a prince? Same would apply to any of Scar’s attempts to kill Simba.
If we're being honest. The beast kind of lost his princely status.
@@lightningpenguin8937how about scar
@@Rockstardaily scar yes gaston no
to answer your first question: no, it's been decades since and we can assume another took his place as prince.
to answer second question: also no, because technically Scar was the king at that point in time
@@ryanlybarger2988 technically he usurped the throne from simba, and since we counted Hans attacking Elsa, we should count Scar attacking Simba.
In the final act, attempting to kill the new rightful ruler of Pride Rock, Simba is still attempted regicide. That's like Prince Andrew attempting to throw Prince William off a cliff after already doing it to King Charles III.
No, he didn't attempt regicide. If you actually paid attention to the movie, when Scar asks Simba, "You wouldn't kill your old uncle?", Simba responds, "No, Scar. I'm not like you," and gives him the chance to leave. When Scar attacks instead, Simba defends himself.
@@imfsresidentotaku9699 I'm saying that Scar is NOT the rightful ruler of Pride Rock.
If that's what you mean, then you need to change "Simba" to "Scar" in your original comment.@@pervertedstoner69reborn70
@@greywolf7577 Why do you think I said "the new RIGHTFUL ruler of Pride Rock"? Simba fits that title since he is next in line to the throne! If King Charles dies, then Prince William is the rightful heir. How would it make sense if Prince Harry killed King Charles to take over England and order the execution of Prince William, who is supposed to be the next heir?

I love how he just slams "Regicide" on a tragic scene of the lion king 🤣🤣
You forgot a few on Gaston. He broke into a historical monument, broke a window of a historical monument, broke a valuable statue in a historical monument.
Edit: holy moly, this got alot of likes.
He covered those already
He also poisoned are water supply burned down are crops and delivered a plage onto houses
@@kichiroumitsurugi4363 no he covered the breaking of a window and statue in someone's home. Not doing so in a historical monument.
@IdiotamSpielen I think the castle is meant to be a historical monument
i love the concept of this guy taking this semi-seriously like
"okay so scar is a lion so he wouldnt be charged BUT if he was..."
I like that it feels like I'm in a hearing while those villains are being sentenced. I like the sound effects, especially the Gaston's crunching sound, which I find to be very funny.
I think that insult (or disrespect should have been added) 5:36.
Gaston should have gotten more as beast is a noble and likely in charge of that region/village. Treason at least, possibly attempted regicide. With lion king also add on inciting a riot with conspiracy to commit child murder (the stampede). Even the child murder should be a higher charge as Simba is the "prince".
He was technically a former noble, but whether he still technically has that position is probably questionable. I honestly wouldn't consider it that.
9:11 *Mousait says something about replacing the audio*
Scar: "Kill him"
dude I love when you replace the songs lmao
Gaston getting 3 battery charges in a single scene is just hilarious to me.
8:53 not only that, it was also fratricide.
What does that mean?
