This is a commonly used trick which is actually useful u just have to hold the ball and let go once u have the proffered circle and then u wait until it attacks and throw it before it can do another animation

It’s not an odd reason why the circle goes away. The circle goes away with signifies to the player that the Pokémon cannot be caught during the attack.

U don’t have to throw a curve ball u just gotta line the ball and hit that spot to get a excellent throw I have tried and tried to hit a curve ball throw and it is harder then just marking the circle small and just throwing the ball straight to that circle ⭕️ and I just got a excellent by making the circle small and waiting until it dose the attack motion and half way through the motion I thrown right where the circle was and got a excellent

The size of the circle doesn't "set", you cannot "set" the circle to any size. It is moving because it's considered crosshairs, like in gun gale. You CANNOT "set" the circle size
