Your home is lovely! I read Meik Wiking's book a few years ago and go back to it often. It is so peaceful and explains hygge well. I fit the bill! I have many nooks. Wood floors. Log walls. Hand crafter wood items. A fireplace in and a fire pit out,and far too many books! Every room in fact. I have pottery and china.i am a Maximilist though and not minimalist like the danish.

It's funny...I've always done these things and never knew about hygge....to me this just explains "home" and making it cozy with obvious things. ♡
I was just thinking this same thing as I sit in my reading nook with my tea and my candles next to my bookcase lol
