he's an awesome speaker man!!!! talking about inspiration!!!
Louis Martinez so inspirational
I love this guy. Went from being on top to rock bottom & back to the top! Great story...
I'm a UNC Basketball fan who strongly dislikes duke but JAY WILLIAMS is somebody I greatly respect and appreciate. Very glad he is still here with all of us. He is great with ESPN. Much love from a Tarheels fan!
Nyfancam01. - As a Maryland Fan ( and still bitter over two losses to his Duke team), I agree that he is really good on College Gameday, and have been told by former Maryland players, who played against him during his 3 years at Duke ( when the Maryland-Duke rivalry was at it's peak), that he is a really Good person. He definitely found his calling as an analyst on ESPN, and should be there for many years.
Like yourself, a UNC fan, I still ( Always ) Hate Duke!
Kinda weird that the only reason you’ve grown to like him is because he didn’t prosper in his career like he was supposed to. If he would’ve got in the NBA and had been successful you would’ve hated him because he played for Duke….that’s wild to me
The biggest challenges in life is enduring and overcoming adversities. Jay Williams had a misfortune at such a young age and critical juncture of his life. It would suck the life out of just about anyone. But he fought it off and job is not done. Great story
Big ass smile. What a solid man. good for him.
Respect my brother! God bless!
Let’s go Jay Williams! What a story!
Feel sorry for the guy, but im glad he’s doing well!
Lot of love for JWill. Character and perseverance forged the man you see today, killing it as an analyst, author.. Sky is the limit
Incredible life story
I depise Duke! But I watched so much Duke basketball during the Jay Will years because of his greatness. One of my alltime favorite college basketball players
Being from Duke, I fully expected his commentating to be biased against everybody, especially Kentucky (UK Fan). However, I was pleasantly blown away by his objectivity and unbiased eye. Great at what he does. Definitely an example of GOD taking you by the collar to get your attention.
Damn I love this man
I respect his honesty
KD would like a word about that honesty you speak of
No way! Matty ice! Hahahahahabababana cmon man. More like Matty tepid water. As a falcons fan that dude needed to get dropped years ago
I feel for you bro.
He's extremely fortunate that the Bulls honored his contract when they legally were not obligated to, when he violated it by even riding a motorcycle. That was a serious mistake that resulted in a tragic accident. I'm glad he's bounced back and I really like him as a commentator. Still, you can't help but think what kind of career he could've had.
Jay Will is an inspiration. His play as a collegiate and pro showed great wisdom and promise and this continues onto his keen and insightful bball analytics. He may become an NBA coach one day. NBA should feel lucky to have him by the sideline.
Omg I can’t believe he went thru this.
Great interview
Bulls still giving him his money even tho they didn’t have to because of his contract was a blessing it’s self
He's lucky to be alive
💪🏽✊🏾👊🏽!!
He reminds me of Andre Lyons from Empire.
God damn she’s fine
Kishon Moore you relax he was the calm one lol
Kishon Moore 😤😂
Who is she
@Kishon Moore Whats your problem?
Imagine him with Derrick rose
Culley If he wasn’t an idiot and never had a motorcycle, D-Rose doesn’t go to the Bulls...
Jonathan Zygmunt yup
@@JHockeyFan If Derrick rose never goes to the bulls he doesn’t get injured. Win win
@@NathielIsaac no another no
Perfect Windsor Knot
Just say NO
Say no to what u fucking moron
2 of dukes best pgs career ended from bikes
Whose the other one ?
@@HunchoHunt13 ikr Jesus OP is a tease
Bob Hurley I think
It wasnt a mistake it was an accident
Mirza singgih he didn’t have a license to ride nor was the accident covered in his contract. It was a mistake that lead to an accident
His story smh !
My man's was off them perkys I know he didn't completely put them down. Once a user always a user
😂😂😂😂😂
Perks weak af, if you’re over the age of 20 and perks still Fck you up you childish
Don't care for the interviewer, but Jay Will controlling the narrative. Nice
would have been top 5 of all time, one the all time best all around players
READBETWEENTHE LINES maybe, but what he’s saying is that life is more than basketball, and that he’s a better man because of the accident
God had other plans.
The mood of this interview is borderline cringy
why?
That makes no sense
Breaking news! Jay Williams is going to open a business to teach NBA players on how to ride motorcycles.
Did she say basketball star?!?!!😆
He was a star in duke
Apparently he crushed it in elementary school So they retired his jersey… 😂 He’s also a member of the NBA retired players association. So, I guess that’s impressive? 🥱 😴💤
