Though he eluded, he was basically saying that he seen that there was money to be made and a lot of it for him by doing so. He was only 19 when he started signing artist which means his peoples already had the money to invest. which happens to be the jewish community.

He talks as if he is concerned about the artist but leaving out the part that he only feeds them breadcrumbs while he sits back and gets extremely richer. Also notice when he mentions he doesn't like artist using drugs but couldn't answer why he signs artist that promote drugs through their music. He only cares about making money that's it and not the culture. Even if it means he is aiding in destroying it, he doesn't care as long as he profits from it. Because in the end of the day, its not HIS culture he is actually destroying. His personality is somewhat likeable but in no way to be trusted. He is running deception. And its critical that you are able to see through it when encountered. Or you become the victim.
