It was First Take: Hip Hop Edition. But Joe knows more about the old culture while DJ Akademiks knew the new culture. Both didn’t have a Stephen A or Max mindset, but it was still entertaining to watch. Joe screaming and Ak taking punches got ratings especially the Migos interview.
It was grabbing attention that not even The Breakfast Club could grab.
His view is more nuanced that yours. Its not hating to say Joe probably was going to do something to stop that shows success.

I admit I think like alot of people I slept on Budden for a minute. The most powerful thing he said was he had to realize he was living trash and when he changed and started doing the right thing the UNIVERSE responded! Same thing Im dealing with and sometimes its the people around you that can get you living trash and its fucked but as much as it may hurt at that moment you have to eliminate those people and keep them at a distance. Life is lessons and I like hearing how others dealt with the same situations.
