What a good bunch of guys you have working with you Mike. Humor is very important in our every day lives, keeps us happy at work. 👍👍🇨🇦🐕❤️
Thanks buddy
Mike you and Kleeman have a great interaction makes for a good working environment it also makes the day go faster I enjoy watching your crew at work entertainment plus.
Thanks berry
You guys get along well. When a crew is calm and in a good mood and not constantly a nervous wreck, less mistakes will happen.
Agree and thanks
More than I ever wanted to know about septic systems, I will work with electric any day over plumbing. You explain the how and why of what you do very well. The joke and humorous remarks you make working are part of what makes your video's so great. Looking forward to your next project. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback and watching
Very well put together. Especially the way you and your crew interact. Makes the days, even in less than ideal weather, a blast.
It isnt work if you love what you do.
Thanks appreciate that
Real nice job! A lot of work for sure! Thanks for sharing so some of us can learn a thing or to.
No problem thanks for watching
As always so educational. I always enjoy watching and learning. You have so e great help there. Good skills and humorous to boot. Thanks for sharing bud
Thanks buddy hope all is well your way
Nice! Beats bringing in several thousands yards of dirt for a mound system, super tight back there, oh boy!
Kleeman is hilarious on the skid steer. "Squeeky squeeky" is the new clanky bucket "ching ching". Money!!! Nice vidjao, Mike. Septic perfect.
Keith L i was laughing so hard with kleeman on
Lol he is awesome he also has his Own channel check him out

@@DirtPerfect Captian Kleeman. I just had a wee look and he was mostly taking the rise out of you Mike, but in the nicest possible way. He only has 273 subscribers, but he looks to be good value as we say over here in Kiwi land. czcams.com/channels/fOg8025k1X2y2cYC6DMBHQ.html

That was a good idea, putting those pits downhill!! You you know what never rolls uphill!!
Exactly
Another great show on the family Channel from Southern Indiana!
Thanks Eddie
Who says you can't work hard and have fun. This was fun to watch. thanks
Exactly 😂
Never heard of that kind of system. So cool video.
Thanks
So, I think you should give Kleeman the name of CRASH fits perfectly. The new guy man of few words.
Thanks for sharing. I have a friend that is going through this on his house and the system that they wanted him to put in was over $30,000
I think the city is now put in city system that he will be able to huck into. But it going to be next year.
Good deal city sewer will be nice
That was an awesome video there enjoyed education keep them coming
Thanks appreciate the feedback
Wow that's different from the old way of doing septic, looks like a nice system.
Yes they do work well
Another great and informative share. Thank you.
Thanks for watching
From conn. And I wish our systems were this easy....
Interesting to see that there is a drain field design that can be used on slopes.
Where I am along the shores of Lake Simcoe north of Toronto we end up with a lot of engineered tile beds but most are elevated due to ground water levels.
Interesting
Nice job guys, we've got a few different design options for dispersal field depending on the ground type and permeability. Sad they didn't let you do a propper french tile to divert runoff and groundwater around the field. Great team of guys you got there, glad you got that squeak sorted in the kubota later
Thanks
Nice install Mike, a few jokes, and some really hot weather. Great work by you and the crew!
Doug@ the "ranch"
Thanks buddy
Blowing me away with your videos
Hope you are enjoying
Great job Mike. Remember the good ole days of a few stringers and some pea gravel? lol
Lol yes thanks for watching
Looks impressive, good see your using a Caterpillar, just had a go on the new Cat 308E2 CR, not as good as the series 1 but not bad, got all the mod cons
I got a love hate relationship with mine 😜
Nice work!
Thanks
Great vid buddy. Never seen that system used before. Appreciate you taking the time to give all the details and great footage. O ya , are you and Cleveland brothers .? Lol. He's great guy , good operator too. Thanks for showing.
Lol no just good friends
Awesome video and very funny you guys must alike playing in the sand thanks for sharing
Lol glade you enjoyed
Kleeman....you crack me up. I couldn't get any work done with you, i'd be laughing to damn hard.
Great video!
Thanks!
seems like an ATU with drip system would be a good fit for issues like this.
This is interesting how the drain field sitting almost above ground that would never work in the Pacific Northwest way to much rain it way stay wet almost year round but for your area looks like it would work great .
Nice job!
Thanks
Great job.
Thanks
Boy when I was work and I wish my state inspector looked as good as that one.
🤦♂️😂
You forgot the shout when you had a Pepsi lol. Good to see you got it done before the rain came and ruined your work.
Ps i remember the video when you showed the problems with this drain field.
Lol on the Pepsi and awesome
Great video Mike 🇺🇲
Thanks
Nice work
Thanks
Having a good working relationship sure does make things easier.
I guess the skid steer is coming handy with this job... Right tool for the job, right job for the tool. You're getting better on it. Still heard some squeaking though ;)
Lol working on it sand was hard on it 😬
Like the video Mike and your guy's too .
Thanks buddy
Never heard of that system before. Looks like a nice pay day tho. Here at home in SC we inspect our own installations. Crazy uh
Yes
Interesting very interesting.
Good job you know something I go to godig18 and I see alot of comments about you and it kind of piss me off, people have to relish you haven't got 1/2 mill of utube where u can just go get buy new crappy like he can,you work on your own stuff and work with what you got,I watch his channel to see how alot is done, but I fast forward alot of his videos.but yours i watch it pretty much though because you and the others have fun in what you do...and really show everything you trying to do
Thanks Carl I appreciate that
I had to put 8 mil visqueen on the downhill side of the barrier trench (french drain) to catch the hill run-off. I had to fill the trench with ASTM drain rock.
Not a bad idea but the state wouldn’t allow that here 🥺😁
Good job i install them in Alabama
Awesome thanks mike
How does this system work? I work as a septic designer in western Washington and have never heard of or seen this. does each corrugated pipe section fill most of the way with waste water before flowing into the next?
⭕️🤣🤣 did anyone else think about rain man when he was in the skid steer ...???🤣🤣🤣
About 20 yr ago I lived on a lot that fronted on the huge Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I was grandfathered in on my septic system but I was prevented from updating my drainage field. All of a sudden my drainage field failed. My obvious solution was to hook up to the street sewer, but due to our sewers up and down steep hills I would have to pay over $10,000 for grinder-pump. I saw this ad for miracle sewer "Rid-X on steroids". I won't mention the name for fear that you would accuse me of being their "shill". I thought, "What the hell, I'll give it a try." I purchased the expensive "Rid-X on steroids" and in 2 weeks, my failed drain-field was once again working perfectly. If Mr Dirt-Perfect contacts me, I will give him the name of the company.
Interesting there was no existing field on this job to fix that was the problem just a pipe over the hill 🤦♂️ that’s awesome and would still like to know the name of the product
@@DirtPerfect It was www.amerisep.com/
The product worked perfectly. The downside was that they hired telemarketers to keep bugging me. Maybe give them the phone number of your worst enemy
Cleveland is a hilarious nut. Lol God bless

@@DirtPerfect not finding the channel.
Well perhaps if dirt perfect has it spelled right lol
The plant in N.H. That makes the pipe is 25 min from my house that’s cool
Awesome that’s cool
@@DirtPerfect I live in NH also and have put lots of these systems in. Did a school with over 600 tubes in it . Use grade stakes on either side of the tube to hold them when backfilling along with the spacers. Put the end caps on the tube before putting it in the bed. I rough grade the 6" of system sand and just fine grade where the tube sits on small beds. It is easier to backfill with and excavator along the long length of the tubes. I pay under $20/yard for the system sand, what does it cost where you are?
i like the inspector
😁
That was a great job till you "bent" it lol, looks wild, the ways they come up with to drain waste water, great job!
Lol and yes
Nice job ! That's an interesting system , I had not seen one like it . Is it a common system in your location ?
Yes a about 50% of them that go in are like this
I Like the man behind the sean
Nice job.thanks for the learning lesson. And hey mike what app is it for the level on your phone? I'd like to get that for mine!
Stanly level app
Kleeman is crazy how do you get anything done with him around.lol.
lol it’s a good time

Good vid. I'm looking at using a Presby system because my existing system is failing. I'm nervous because my septic contractor doesn't know anyone using that system in San Diego. It's been a few months for you now, how is it working out? Would you recommend Presby system? Is it as cost effective as it's claimed to be?
Yes have installed several all working good
“Do you have a license for that”
Instantly the response is
“Ya. I’ve got the paint and tape measure right here” as he holds up the tape measure and paint opposite to what he said.
He nailed the timing so well it almost seemed like it was rehearsed.
Lol no it was not 😂
Took 23 takes to get that shot 😂
Captain Kleeman
Whether it was one shot or 23 it was great and actually made me laugh out loud.
Your timing was perfect and Mike and yourself make a great team.
Wayne Crews we have a lot of fun together, that’s for sure. Thanks buddy!
It looks like a pretty steep slope where you put in the new system, there isn't a creek at the bottom of the slope is there? Don't think it would fly in Wisconsin. enjoyed the video, good crew of people you have there.
lol. And thanks
Man that looked like a pain in the rear. Poor Cleveland 😂😂
Lol it was
@@DirtPerfect oh heck it's kleeman?? Tell him I apologise.. I'm deaf in one ear and can't hear out of the other🙄 my bad..
looks like you're getting the hang of the skidsteer….
Slowly 😁
My state inspector had a lot of hair on her chest, how did you get so lucky!
Lol 😂
would an Aerobic treatment system
not have been an option in this case?
No
"Hey, how y'all doing? This is my, TREE!!! This is my second day in the skidsteer!! Squeaky squeaky squeaky!!" Hahahahahahahahaha
I laughed out loud!! I just wonder how he would act if you secretly put caffein in his decaf!! Lol
Lol we may have to find out 😜
I have a good way for Ya to find out!
Of course, we would have to ask permission!! Lol
Cleveland doing his best Bigdeal18 impression in the Kubota?
I think you've found your very own Stevey.
😂😂😂 hope not 😜
Woah woah woah...what did you call me? I’m far more handsome...and handy! 😂😂
Don't let him forget it either!
If that job was not complicated, you would not have high quality content for YT.
Good job on a non standard system.
Thanks buddy
Basically it all comes out in the end.
Hmm no
What were your license requirements to do septic systems for your state as an excavator
Several country and state test
Can you pick up a egg without breaking it with your excavator & claw? Just curious...
Yup 😁
Hi Mike, Maybe I missed something, but what stops the whole system slowly moving down the slope over a period of time due to that ever active phenomenon of Gravity and settlement?? JR
The dirt cover
Looks good Mike....did you use the “squeaky grease” on the Kubota? 😂👍
D C sometime he forgets to take the cap off the grease gun when he tries to use it, but you didn’t hear that from me 🤫😂
Mrs. Elite Earthworks bahaha....ok, I wont say a word 🤞. Thought he might have ordered squeaky grease at the Derby Market 🤷♂️
D C they do have just about anything you can think of at the Derby Market! The breakfast pizza is the best thing though 😁
Lol omg crazy weekend 😜
How do people learn to install septic systems. Everyone wants a fortune to install them. Thanks for your videos
you have to be licensed first.
It aint just the excavator. Its because these damm new systems the materials are most of the reason for big prices. We do some sand filter treatment systems that are $30 grand. But. 18 to 20 grand in materials
All depends on where you are located
Are local health department helps with training
@@toddreynolds8875 YOUR RIGHT; when I started building my house in 1992, concrete was $42 a yard; now it's $140, also standard asphalt shingles were $21 a square and now $30+ a bundle. Got to love this shitty world!!
When installing system on that steep of slope, how do you prevent blowout or leaks on downhill side? Just curious.
Hope and pray 😜
The pipe is permeable so if done right, sewage water from the septic tank would never reach the end. If the baffle or tee, depends on the tank, at the tank outlet, fails, which would allow solids to enter the D box and on into the field, the system is doomed. We install light duty manholes on top of the tanks to allow for a perfect pump out and for an inspection of the baffle/tee. Cost is 200 bucks more for home owners security and peace of mind.
Once both sides of the holding tank are full the liquid entering the drain field only enters as fast as your sink drains or your toilet flushes. There is never a sudden rush of a large volume of water to “blow out” the system.
I've been around septic installation for thirty plus years, so I understand how water
Goes in and out of tank, but I also know water seeks lowest point, can't help thinking when effluent hits that bed or reaches limiting layer under it that it will take path of least resistance. Just my two cents. Definitely not a criticism. Really good video.
😀
I understand that every job is different but on average how long does it take your crew to put one of those in? I have a job coming up that will be our first time putting this system in.
Day and A 1/2
That's a rough one
Yup but we got her done 😁
Well I don't want a simple gravity switch. I want a dimmer switch. Think about that. Lol God bless
Got it and like it 😂
That joke was perfect.....almost dirt perfect.
😜 thanks buddy
Was captain kleemen looking for a spoon in that pile
The line I hate to hear the most is, "Sorry guys, I didn't get a lot of this filmed." The last few videos you have put out have been almost entirely of you walking and talking about the job (which is really informative and interesting), but there is almost no heavy equipment shots. It is the equipment working that I really like.
I hope that future videos will get some more work being done instead of seeing the beginning of a project and the end of it already done. I may be the only person that misses the equipment working. I also don't want to sound like I am complaining either. I really enjoy your videos. I watch almost all of them.
Live streams for me isn't very interesting. That is just personal preference to me. I know a lot of people like it. Please keep up the great work you do on this channel. Even if you don't change anything at all, I will still be watching. It is still good content. I just miss the equipment working.
I wanted to say the same. I feel like most of his videos lately are just him talkimg about what hes gonna do then when its done. I want to see the work! I want to see the machines working. I skip most of the talking because I just want to see the job.
@@sarahbearah1993 That is how I feel too.
@@sarahbearah1993 I am glad I am not the only one.
Doesn't everyone realize that he's working on a paying job? Filming every little detail and step takes time that I'm sure he doesn't always have to spare.
@@brockwagner939 He doesnt film hardly any of the job. All he has to do is set up the camera inside the machine. Im sure it takes time to set up the camera, but he has time to walk around and talk, so I think he has time to film the actual job. If he doesnt then whats the point of this channel? I never said every minute of the jobs should be filmed...but 90% of these videos are just walking around talking. All Im saying is some people want to see the job being done, not a before and after.
and i got the brains lol good one mike
more kleeman cam please

This has got to be the 27th time dirt perfects autocorrect called me “caption” kleeman 😂😂😂
I'm fifty five years old put a lot of septic system in over the years ain't never seen one like that one
They originated in new Hampshire
Yes they do work well
I have never saw one put in that way.
The statement crap rolls downhill is so true. Lol.
😜😁
How do you keep the sand from washing out overtime on that grade? *Not finished watching yet*
It’s covered with top soil
This is a type of sand mound system?
Presby
You could be out in Montana and have 4 feet of snow to deal with. Your heat wont last much longer.
lol 😝 I know it’s coming at some point
that was a good idea... in theory... never dismiss the helpers...
😁
I never saw a drain field installed on top of the ground like that. Why wouldn't you bury it down about 3 ft?
Can’t due to the limiting layer being so shallow
Is your equipment yard located near the Ohio River ?
That kind of system needs some special sand or regular sand?
#23
@@DirtPerfect Thanks, watched a presby system being removed recently, looks like it was backfilled with clay and pit run. Possibly why it failed. Seems like an interesting system.
Interesting not as easy in the UK we need to spread the drainage field over a much larger area; not sureif an above ground system is accepted.
Can you get him to say dirt perfect.
Working on it 😜
Good God man throw some grease in that skid loader bucket I can hear the bushing squalling,, but maybe pins and bushings are cheaper than grease LOL!!!
👍
Glade that was your take away form this video 😁
Spacing cadets!
But your tee in the d box will hit the bottom of the lid and block flow...
No there is room top is vent water goes out the bottom
Gotta put a new one in at home this summer.it's a shitty job but cheaper than hiring this job out when you own equipment. Lol
The biggest presby system I've put in was 72 pipes.
Wow
Ive never done a presby. But i install some big septics over the years. Had the 3 biggest in the state. 346 bedroom. 288 bedroom and 260 bedroom. The 346 one i had a 300 ton crane and 64 trailer trucks bringing 2 sections of tank each total of 128 tank sections. The 288 one had 92 separate 2,000 gallon tanks.
Do you like doing systems? Or just something to keep money coming in?
