"Occam's Razor" says you are probably right. "The simplest explanation is usually the right one." And, knowing what I know about human nature, "easter eggs" are probably how animators have fun with their work. ("Let's see who notices this.") It's safer than drawing phalluses as castle towers.

Rachel Brevard I feel like the movies are definitely all connected, but given that these movies may have happened during the same time period, it could be possible that the China in Tarzan was the same design as Mrs. Potts in B&B. But that crack in the cup in Tarzan sure looks a lot like Chip's crack.. 😬

Coraline and The Nightmare Before Christmas are connected!! I haven't heard anyone put the two together really so maybe I just have an overactive imagination or whatever, but seriously! I was rewatching Nightmare and in one of the scenes the cat from Coraline totally shows up and Sally or someone pets it!! I don't remember the exact scene, but it definitely looked like the same cat. I think that maybe 'the other world' could be some kind of extension of Jack's world!! I'm mean both have little doors that lead from the human world into the other! god, the more i think about it the more i'm like totally sure they're connected x))) but honestly i don't know why none of you theory youtubers have said something about the connection, i don't think it would be that far of a stretch! or maybe someone has done a video about it but idk

Well done. I learned about a lot of connections I never noticed. This probably took a long time, so props.
Solid connections I agree with.
- Rapunzel and Eugene being at Elsa's coronation.
- Elsa's and Anna's parents ship in _The Little Mermaid_.
- Prince Charming's father from _Cinderella_ being at Ariel's wedding.
- King Triton being the son of Poseidon who is the brother of Zeus father of Hercules.
- Scar's pelt in _Hercules_, though that pelt is *very* well preserved.
Tarzan being the brother of Elsa and Anna would put Tarzan too far back in history. Also, it would hurt the Wold-Newton family a bit. In Wold-Newton Tarzan's mother is a first cousin to Sherlock Holmes.
You have some good connections here, but some are weak, such as using a real city to make connections.

I belive that Zootopia takes place in the world of Mickey Mouse,connecting it to Ducktales,The Goofy Movie, and Oswald The Lucky Rabbit,and Darkwing Duck among others.

I think Zootopia has revealed a connection with 2, possibly 3 other Disney movies. First, we know that in the distant past from Zootopia animals didn't walk upright, and still had that predator/prey relationship, but then they agreed to live in harmony with the predators subsisting off of bugs. This leads me to believe that Simba from the Lion King was instrumental in forming this early cooperative civilization. Fast forward a few thousand years, and Simba's descendants, John and Richard are integral in the story of Robin Hood. Another few hundred years after that and the events from Chicken Little might be part of this timeline, but then we get back to Zootopia, where Richard's descendant is the mayor, and Robin Hood's descendant is Nick Wilde.
I feel these movies all exist in a parallel universe to the other Disney films.
At the beginning of Atlantis, the iconic quote by Plato is shown. This indicates that Atlantis sunk around the same time that Hercules lived. Milo claims that Kida is approximately 8500 years old. Since her father's age hasn't changed too much, I assume that Atlantians age normally as children and than really slowly as adults. This would place the timeline of Atlantis approximately 5000 years in the future. Probably around the same time as Treasure Planet which also had a steam punk feel to it. Unless of course the movie did take place in 1914 in which case Atlantis sunk in approximately 6600 BCE. Which I'm not buying.

Maui could also be the son of the Norse God Loki or Greek Proteus establishing a further connection between 'The Disney Universe' and 'The Percy Jackson Universe'. Even more the sea storms and lightning troubling Moana ( the daughter of Poseidon) can be due to Kymopoleia and/or Zues's rivalry respectively with Posiedon. (Though, yes, this is a different mythology but it further continues as in 'The Percy Jackson Universe' all are 'true'.)

When the weasel in Zootopia is selling movies it has references to Moana, Tangled, Big Hero 6, Wreck-it-Ralph, and Frozen. Also in Moana, in the end credits Tamatoa references Sebastian from The Little Mermaid. In The Secret Life of Pets, there is a poster for the movie Sing on the back of one of the trucks. And one of the mermaids on the rocks in Peter Pan looks quite a bit like Ariel from the Little Mermaid.
Me: watching anything to do with belle, sees this, and puts allll things aside to see
What about the evil queen and mother gothel being the same person? and making snow white and Tangled related
I like where you're heads at, but no. First, let's review everything backing that theory. Exhibit A. Both films are set in Germany. Exhibit B. That Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is set around the 1500s, and Mother Gothel is from around the 1500s. Exhibit C. That The Old Hag looks like old Gothel.
Now it's time to debunk all of that. Number one. While both films are set in Germany, and were written by the same German authors, The Grimm Brothers, they're definitely not set in the same part of Germany. In Tangled's case we actually have an official map of the kingdom, seen during the end credits. When lining that map up, with a map of Germany, it seems to line up well with the north west part of Germany, to be specific the Island of Neuwerk, which works well as a stand in for the island the castle sits on. As for Snow White, with its rustic castle and architecture and black forest, it matches well with The Black Forest, as that is the part of Germany where the original Snow White fairy tale came from. Now that location is in south west Germany. 627 km away from Neuwerk where Tangled is.
Part 2. Upon doing a ton of research and calculations, I will actually give this an okay, as Gothel would be about the same age as the queen in the sameish time period.
Part 3. How similar are the Evil Queen and Gothel's appearances? First let's go over what they have in common. In their younger forms, both have black hair, and in their older forms both have a pointy chin. Two points for alike. Now how they differ. One, their hair. Gothels hair in both forms is curly while The Queen's is always straight. Two, little features. The Old Hag has a wort on her nose and a bigger nose than old Gothel, The Old Hag also only has one tooth while old Gothel has a full set of teeth, and The Old Hag has a hunch while Gothel doesn't. Finally the eyes. The eyes are the big kicker here as in both forms the Evil Queen has green eyes and Gothel has grey. The rarest eye colour.
With all that out of the way the evidence is stacked 2 to 1 against The Evil Queen being Gothel.
That's not the only connection between Tangled and Snow White though. In Tangled, on one of the banester columns you can see Rapunzel has painted the poisoned from Snow White meaning that in one form or another, she has heard that story. Which BTW goes against the theory that they're the same, as why would Gothel want Rapunzel to know that story if it could lead to her figuring out they're the same person. Either way the point is, that theory is busted, and there is still a connection between the two movies.

I can name 2 ways Robin Hood connects to the universe. 1 in Tangled when Rapunzel is reading her books on her bed about 7 minutes into the movie, on the floor you can see the rooster's guitar on the left side. 2 the film takes place in England which we've already established is a location in the universe.

In Big Hero 6, when Honey Lemon called for a photo before Hiro's presentation of his invention, you can see her phone case which is a fox that looks like Nick Wilde from Zootopia

This is a phenomenal theory, but there's one thing that particularly unravels some if the connections: Time.
From Tarzan, we can assume the film takes place near the turn of the 19th Century, as evidenced by Clayton's use of a cartridge-based, break-action shotgun, the use of a "magic lantern", chemistry sets, and an ironclad vessel. This, in addition to the differences in appearance between Elsa and Tarzan's parents, disconnects Frozen from Tarzan, as Frozen most likely takes place during the Middle Ages, before the advent of science and the spread of gunpowder.
The existence of guns in the Disney universe also disconnects Beauty and the Beast and The Hunchback of Norte Dame, with the guards around Paris not using firearms, while Gaston, a commoner out in the countryside, uses what I can imagine is a matchlock musket.
The theory holds up somewhat well, but when you look at the fine details, some things just don't add up.
I'd like to think that Hunchback takes place before Beauty and the Beast. The big fire and rioting in Paris inspired Maurice to move Belle and himself to the little town. I also came up with a more weirder theory that the Blue Fairy is the enchantress who cursed the Beast, mainly based on her appearance in B&TB's prologue (blonde hair, greenish-blue dress, crown tipped with stars). I also like to think the Blue Fairy comes from Neverland, based on The Princess and the Frog, with the evening star, and Pinocchio's wishing star both being the same, specificallly the second star to the right.

Actually Zootopia is part of it cuz in one scene we see the weasel selling bootleg movies of disney films like frozen, wreck it ralph, tangled, moana, big hero 6, and gigantic. They also make other small cameos of other films.
You can see Sally in the background of Brave when Merida is with the witch.
I like to think all the animated talking animal movies are connected starting with brother bear and ending with bolt or whatever Disney’s latest talking animal movie is
a sing poster showed up on a truck snowball was driving. And I think evidence that Frozen is connected is that i think there is a poster of Hans that says WANTED at the bottom, is in the police officers cork board in big hero 6, and a hans statue in freds' backyard.
Well the live action version of beauty and the beast makes that hunch back of notre dame easter egg possible no spoilers but you'll see
I just realized something: not only is Flounder from The Little Mermaid seen in Moana, but Sebastian the crab is too, I don’t remember the name of the crab in Moana, but if it’s the same crab, this would mean that The little Mermaid, Moana and Lilo And Stitch are connected because the “hook” that Maui uses is exactly the same as the hook on the necklace that Lilo’s older sister’s boyfriend (honestly I don’t remember if he was her boyfriend) has and that would only mean that judging by if the size of the crab and the size of a human is being proportional, either Moana and Maui and everyone from the Moana movie must have been very small, Maui’s hook shrunk or Lilo’s sister’s “boyfriend” is a descendant of Maui
The Toy Story ball and Jessie are in the room of Boo from Monsters Inc, along with a Finding Nemo toy

There was a plan to connect the movie Atlantis to the show Gargoyles by the way of the crystal that Demona had in the praying gargoyle statue.
Hunchback and Beauty and the Beast are both set in France, but in different time periods. Hunchback in 1480s while Beauty and the Beast in 1740s (or some early part of the industrial revolution since Maurice made a steam powered machine) So that girl in Hunchback isn't Belle herself but perhaps her great great great grandmother.
