I feel like Dice having a single “Patch guy” sleeping in the office and being the sole handyman for the game makes a LOT more sense.

@@destruidor12ban40 honestly they're not that bad. Sure they increase your survivability a ton but I think it's a point of compromise where it's better to not die of dehydration because of a shot to the stomach for gameplay's sake.
1:06 in the background is LITERALLY from a legit clip, like that actually happened where one of those hovercrafts was going towards a helicopter. It's just mind blowing that the game is this broken, that, if you only watched this video with no idea what Battlefield was, you'd think it was just a really clever joke and not a real product... you'd also be wrong.

@@HazySkies BF2042 has been broken for so long because the developers dropped a few small patches then went on holidays for like 3 weeks. I haven't played in a few weeks so I don't know if they have fixed anything new though.

i want to say a huge thank you for not changing the art style. It is a huge turn off for me personally, making me borderline lose interest in shows. It is amazing how this new season seamlessly continues from where you guys left off so many years ago! Loved this episode, can't wait for more

@@Juply Yeah, they're going to roast this game so hard and rightfully so. I've put thousands of hours into the Battlefield franchise over the last 15 years. I was completely done with 2042 after less than 100 hours. haven't played in over 2 months.

I like how you guys acknowledged the devs getting completely fucked by this game too. Obviously there’s new people at Dice and who knows, maybe some aren’t as dedicated but there’s definitely devs under extreme amounts of stress because management and the big heads at EA ruined everything and the devs have to pick up the pieces. Can’t imagine how awful it must be for them
@BossHossGT500 nah like so many of you put the devs on the same level as the managers and directors when it doesn't work like that at all. Yeah, the old Dice doesn't even exist anymore and as I said above, there's definitely devs with less passion and no interest in working with fans either, but there's still those that genuinely want to produce a good game but higher ups are like no do this instead. They're people at the end of the day working under people who make terrible decisions but only see money. Like any job

i love how Engineer kills both EA's Reputation AND Brutal Expectations in this episode as player characters. I hope Colonel 100 is named Halo Infinite in this game because of his power. Clearly Halo is the reason Battlefield 2042 failed, after all.

The devs are the people who get fired and replaced if they speak up. The people who are made to work all day everyday or miss out on their next house payment. or if they are a important dev you get a DL2 situation where they are just ignored.
