Imagine flying at night, no night vision not even a flashlight. then having to cut your engine to remain silent, gliding to your target, dropping your bombs, then having to almost climb out of your plane to manually restart your engine with no guarantee it would start up again to fly away. while bullets sprayed randomly into the air.
these ladies had balls of steel, often during their silent approach to the target they would cackle or make other noises psychologically messing with the Germans
These ladies were ultimate warriors. My respect goes to them!!!

German invasion Forces during operation Barbarosa got in full surprise when they realised that among the fighters in front line There where women as well. Due to their theory of subhuman and their aspect for the women role in 3rd reich.
Trained, well equipped and lethal above all, they served in various posts such as snipers, Combat medics, Tank crew, artillery etc. Except the 588 Regiment, Soviets had Air Force Regiment with female fighters pilots. Lydia Vladimirovna Litvyak aka Lilya was the First woman fighters pilot to consider her self as an Ace

Also before the war Stalin abolished military ranks, medals and anything that would distinguish one "Comrade" from the other, after the German invasion he reestablished military ranks and medals in order to boost morale among his troops.
The Russian people have been trained for centuries to believe in God, Tsar and Russia and not even the brutality of Communism managed to uproot these beliefs.
Note that both Tsar and Kaiser mean Cesar in Russian and German.
The title goes back to the end of the Western Roman Empire for the Germans.
Since the Western Roman Empire fell to Germanic tribes (Francs and Lombards) leading to the creation of the Holly Germanic Roman Empire (First Reich), the Germanic Emperor was called Kaiser (Cesar).
In the East, the Eastern Roman Empire outlasted the Western one for about 1000 years until its conquest by the Ottoman Turks and the fall of Constantinople in 1453.

On the other hand, in slang Greek the name used for the Greeks, to this day, is Romeoi meaning Romans.
At the same time Greek Orthodox Christians recognize the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople as the Head of the Orthodox Church, but the Patriarch of Moscow views him self as the successor of the Constantinople Patriarch since he is under Turkish rule, so he is severely restricted in the performance of his duties as a global church leader.
These views create significant friction between the Greek Orthodox Churches and the Russian Orthodox Churches throughout the world.
On top of all that, the modern day Turks consider the Ottoman Empire as the successor of the Eastern Roman Empire and still have their destabilizing aspirations in regard to this, with their president Erdogan talking about the borders of their heart, that exceed their actual borders that are too small for the Turkish nation (actually the Turks bring back the Vital Space expansionist theory the Germans and the Japanese used and lead to WW2).

It was a common joke in the Soviet Union, that whoever survives Stalin will never be caught by anything.
He will definitely go down in history as one of the most ruthless dictators to have ever lived.
