Xavi wants to Burn Yamal out. It was pointless to play him for 90 minutes against Almeria. They haven't learned their lesson about what happened to Pedri, Gavi and Balde.

Honestly surprised no actual real rotation. I get rhe midfield with gundogan fried. Im glad he played fort. Honestly was hoping for back 3 of inigo faye kounde with fort as a rb. Midfield of casado romeu pedri and fermin with christensen and sergi coming in for romeunand pedri. Have raphinha come in the midfield as well if we wanna attack. 2 at the front with either lewa ferran then sub em off for vitor and felix.

ViniJr had over 2months of injury yet still turned up so great for the team. ViniJr deserves it. Bellingham and Rodrygo deserve a lot of recognition too.

Roque got a yellow card again and he was like a headless chicken. Running around and didn’t know how to press. This guy has no confidence. His confidence is ruined unfortunately. Very sad situation indeed.
Roque had already played a full season before joining Barca and then joined training. Everyone says Xavi shouldn't play the kids so much, so he didn't play 18 year old Roque much. It's too many minutes.

Laporta rode in on nostalgia and didn't really have any vision for the club and the fake barca supporters felt for it but real ones knew right away when it was made apparent and was not secret that Laporta's whole plan for FC Barcelona's financial future was solely dependent on the silly idea of a Euro Super League. As much as ESPN FC have constantly trashed Barcelona this year, they are actually going to end up with nearly the same amount of points from their title winning season last year. The pundits on this show increasingly appear more focused on being reactionary entertainers and proven “right” about their ego based narratives surrounding teams, players, and managers instead of actually being objective. I’ve been watching this show for years but I’m increasingly finding their reactionary takes very lazy and short sided.

Up until 2 weeks ago Lewandowski had the most total goal contributions in La Liga. Lamine Yamal didn't even score his first goal until late December and basically went the first 4 months with only 1 measly assist in the league. This means his production was literally basically ZERO for the first half of the season. Yet he was Barca's best player or most consistent performer? Rubbish! Nonsense. And also keep in mind Lewandowski missed like 4 games through injuries and suspensions, and also been subbed off 12 times. Otherwise he'd have even more goal and assists and would undoubtedly be leading La Liga in total goal contributions seeing as he's already just 1 or 2 off the leader. Also keep in mind he's doing all this at nearly 36....While playing with a bunch of still developing youth products in what is one of the worst overall Barca squads in the past 30-40 years.
It seems these idiot media and some casuals expected the 36 year old striker playing with kids in a rubbish side full of insane expectations, toxicity and pressure to have 50 goals this season. Which is a comical and delusional expectations to have. What Lewy is doing with this side at 36 years old is amazing. He's still 3rd fastest player in Barca history to score 50 goals for the club and this a club which has had Ronaldo R9, Messi, Etoo, Suarez, Neymar, Ronaldihno, Rivaldo, Henry, Villa, Romario, Cruyff, etc. Any other player does this and ESPN and casuals would be slurping and glazing like crazy. I'm sorry but I don't get what exactly Lamine Yamal did this season that makes everyone say he is Barca best player. He isn't even in their top 5 goal scorers and is only top 4 in assists. He has played more minutes than perhaps Lewy and Gundo in the front 5. Is it because he is 16?? I hear people say that he creates chances. Isn't that what an assist is? He is in the front 3 which are the people who are supposed to score and assist. Gundo has more assists and the same # of goals as him and he is a Midfielder. To me, Fermin Lopez has been better than Yamal and has played less minutes (Again a Midfielder). If I had to pick the MVP this season for Barca it would be Gundo. He has been the absolute constant on this team. He for sure has been the best pick up we got this season by far. I think Yamal can be one of the best in football in 3-4 years, but he has a way to go, which of course is natural for a 16 year old.
