I think its so cool how you are level like 52 and are just doing everything else but the main story. I like that games like this capture the old essence of just playing however the hell you want and being broken as hell.
I do love just playing in whatever order I want. Some people get mad and ask "what's the point if their is no challege?" For me getting stupid broken is half the fun of a JRPG. Who doesn't like to have one pokemon destroy thr entire elite 4?
I just finished the first story of all 8, which is Hikari's and my whole party is 68+, just because I just wanted explore each corner of the world before going into the stories 😅 I love that the game allowed me to do that!

another way to get the sword out of the stone is have a line up of temenos, agnea, orchette and partitio. give each of them a follower and approach the sword. youll pull it out together
That is so cool it doesn't even sound real but I love it. I never would have thought of that.
I use armsmaster with Castti super strong combination imo hp regen skill, atk buff+bp+sp regen(at night)+heal/sp restores latent power with a defence shred and massive hits is all in 1 package. especially useful for a boss you have to fight solo. (only found 1 solo boss so far but maybe there's more)
I feel I don't need Hikari to have more attacks between the warrior divine skill and his latent power yet.
The staffs relatively easy to get too. Find a waterway in east cropdale trail. It takes you to south cropdale trail and to a hidden dungeon called starfall springs. It's only danger level 15 and the staff is at the end of it
The Cleric's Ex skill should be able to put you above Max HP
I have not yet gotten his ex skill. Temenos ochette and castii are all level one still haha
there is is even a staff thats perfect for making oswald a thief with the divine skill he crushes
I think Hikari is actually a prerry bad armsmaster, he can't utilize the staff much and there are learned skills better than its bow skill. But most importantly, his mana pool is really low and those abilities are really expensive. I think either temenos or osvald would be the best foe the class with arcanist equal might. Osvald for raw dmg and temenis for more utility with his latent ability.
Also if you have the arcanist passive at equalize Attack and Magic Osvald can slap with this class
For the one that doesn't have the required level to knock the debt collector juste use Castti
Don't sleep on dancer's blade, it's almost a free bottle of nightmares and trivializes duels that have dagger weakness (like the npc that drops battle tested shield)
I currently have 4 of the 6 weapons. I have Sword and Lance, thanks to this video. The staff is pretty easy to find, but the axe is slightly harder because you have to fight an optional boss. It's nowhere near as bad as Scourage of the sea, I'm still trying to level up and get the right party for that one.
I mean the axe is broken you can deal like 60 k in one attack just get every weakness , break dmg passives and bp and you can deal 50-60k 2 times enough to kill most things in this game xD

Yes! Armsmaster is so much fun and quite different from Octopath 1 version of it.
throne is a really good armsmaster and ochette is a good inventor because she can use super crazy attack / buff monsters between using the support and attack from inventor.
Agnes is by far the best inventor, aoe tesla is busted (Also aoe spring boots)
The axe was the first weapon I found and I can tell you it is one heck of an attack. No idea if it's stronger than the sword because I usually combine it with a Hienka attack from Hikari's latent power so I can fit 2 attacks in one turn after superbuffing the turn before. Using Cosmic Roar at the end of the turn doesn't make much sense for me :P
It does if you have the cleric divine ability do you get a second turn even without hienka! Super strong to star with a cosmic roar then at the end of the turn use the single target nuke. I had about 140,000 damage in one turn with Hikari and that was not max I suspect

I used to have a little store people could buy this shirt from. I stopped offering it since it was pretty expensive. I might bring it back if the channel continues to grow.
I've got the answer to your flurry of arrows problem. if the enemies have 1,2,3,4 shield and you want to break all of them, just use Temenos as your arms master. Latent will break anything 🙂
I do think he makes a good arm's master for breaking but suspect scholar for arcane barrage is still stronger

I run this class on Cassti love her sprite for this class a real warrior monk.
I don't really use buff and debuffs.
One thing that piss me off is farming caits and all nuts for 999pts stats.
69h played currently and I will waste probably 100h just to farm these crappy nuts.
I am not sure if even 100 hours gets it. It's like a 1/10 chance they drop after the 1/20 encounter chance it feels like
Throne has to be level 30 or higher to get pass the debt collector
Its a cool class but my god i hate Hikaris sprite as armsmaster
I like the famale sprites for this class better overall

I loved Hikaris sprite. He felt like a real king to me now haha
i made my hikari stronger by using cursed weapons + blessing in disguise with battle tested gear mixed in
I used to do that but couldnt pass up the accessory that makes crits hit harder
armsmaster was such a letdown for me only noteworthy thing about it for me was sixfold strike and the ease of unlocking the job compared to the arcanist/conjurer all i had to do is get the rusty sword (which is extremely easy to do) and its mine
Cosmic roar has been the highest damage ability in the game for me so far but I'll keep looking for more powerful ones
@@purplatypus7405 it’s not just armsmaster most jobs have been a letdown none of them really have that same oomph that the secret jobs did in the first game lol
@The Reaper Death I've found them yo be super strong so far. They have some cool game breaking potential with the arcanist, insane damage potential with the arms master, super strong one use effects with the Inventor, I'd say the enchantress or whatever was a bit of a letdown for me personally though
@@purplatypus7405 to each their own i guess i just dont really like that most of the warmasters skills are locked behind having curtain weapons equipped and while seal of diffusion is cool and all the runelord had the same skill plus more going for it that made it busted broken i just havent found the same level of godtier brokeness as runelord tressa form any of the jobs in OT2 yet what i will say though is that the inventor has some great skills and support skills thats a job that can make someone like castti utterly broken lol

This class is really redundant on Hikari sence he has a built in function that gives him access to every possible weapon type so Arms master for him is kinda unissisary
Disagree. It's not all about breaking Shields its also about damage and he gets more damage out of this class than most anyone else so far.
Ochette might tie him though
@@purplatypus7405 Enlighten me on how he gets more becuase the class doesn't realy offer him any thing to diversify his kit.
@Taihaku because he has the highest physical stats overall so his had thr ability to smack harder than other characters. Diversity is not always better than raw power. Lots of ways to break Shields

@@purplatypus7405 His base phis dmg is 96 only 8 higher the cassti means all I need to even the score is give her 1 physical dmg boosting nut and she's on par with him in dmg output for the class. But can still poison a whole enemy team abs self heal hers and her party SP with concoction.
Im still early game but I feel horrendously spoiled by Partitio's army of cat girls for hire and how much they melt bosses. Hopefully as I get more options I won't feel as tempted by the power of capitalism.
