'Americans try a weird selection of Singaporean food that no Singaporeans eat'
( except satay, satay is awesome :D)
Haha!
Yeah satay
Lol
Yeah obama
I feel like I'm the only Singaporean that doesn't eat satay sometimes... :(
I'm Singaporean, I suggest you try out these foods:
Laksa ( Thick Rice Noodles in Curry like soup)
Chicken Rice ( The rice tastes like chicken, I'm sure you'll be amazed by what it tastes like)
Chili Crab ( the holy grail, this is sooo good, can't get enough of this!)
This few are quite popular in SG, Singaporeans, I want you to comment below the best Laksa/Chicken Rice/ Chili Crab you can find!
Adding to that list: meegoreng, maya toast, and nasi lemak
You forgot Prata. The most important food
My mouth is watering just thinking of that. :))
Opps! I forgot bout those!
Those sound really good but I live in Canada... I never even had maple syrup yet D:
YOU DONT PEEL THE SATAY OFF THE STICK GOD DAMN IT
+w Chaeri ikr...oh well, they just don't know
+Cassandra Marie They still need to know

Grace T Channel MEEEEEEEEEE
Haha I am sorry buzzfeed but you could have picked better Singaporean food. Everything before the satay are not really what Singaporeans eat.
So excited when I saw the title but disappointed at the food choices. But at least you guys picked satay!
Satay is pretty much South Asian food, not authentic Singaporean food. We have satay in Thailand, Indonesian, Malaysian, etc.
agreed. the first few choices made me so disappointed
yep, agreed with the previous guy, even satay is not really singaporean
I think the foods before Satay were Chinese foods though
Exactly. Wish they had featured more Singaporean food though...
As a Singaporean, I think there are better food than those snacks used in the video, apart for the satay and you have to eat with the ketupat. I reckon there isnt much choices in States.
I would have loved to see them eat some Chicken Rice, Kaya Butter Toast, and maybe Teh Tarik and other drinks you'd expect from a Singaporean coffee shop.
SET A ! And our snacks ! like the potato wheel, icing jems, spicy tapioca chips and many many more.
MILO DINOSAURRRR !
+cassi leka rawr!!🐊
!!! Ikr!!!
you know satay and ketupat is malaysian food
Who is from Singapore🇸🇬🙃
🙋🙋
+nurqasrina00 Me! I love SG :D
Me
yo
+jimins jams hey ARMY
I used to live in Singapore for 8 years, which is literary more than half my life (I'm 15) and not eating the food makes me feel sad. Also I am saddened by the fact that there is no chili crab involved. Or Old Chang Kee chicken wings. I feel hungry right now. SMH
Old Chang Kee!!! OMG, I totally agree with you!!! How can anyone not love it ???
ikr
+Qianqi Zhao cause it's like only their curry puff that it's unqiue. You can get everything else off you hawker centre
kagen lim true that
Wow^_^ I also used to live Singapore, but it was for 10 years ( I'm 13 ) Ahhh, I miss ice kachang :
Those aren't Singaporean food, those are just chips/cookies from
the corner store. Also the satay was Malaysian/Indonesian food but you can say it's Singaporean, also you are eating the chicken satay WRONG.
What do u expect dude. They don't even make an effort to research the local food that they should eat.
Yeah man, agree with you. Chicken Satay is Indo/Malay food.
Where's the Chicken Rice anyway ? that's the Singaporean typical food.
ahmad aqel musa Singapore is a country with tons of races so yeah...
Afeeq Hasan Your annoying, whiny and to put it simply, a little bitch.
No one needs to know this okay, because somethings are better not known.
Mad Gamer Road to 100! LOL how am I annoying, did I post this a 100 times? It's only 1 comment. Also "some things are better not known" well if you were from that region wouldn't you care?
Comment section war about food:
1. American try Indian food:

3. American try Singaporean food:

Indonesian: No way! That's our food!!! (Insert insulting words)
Singaporean: Psshh...heck no!! That's our food!!! (Insert insulting words)
Me: *stomach growling *grabs a glass of milk:

*continue crying *stomach keeps growling
Your comment made me laughed! xD
OnenessLoveEquality I'm hungry and some of these comments are fighting about the origin of the food XD
xD hahahahaha
I think your comment will lighten up those whom read the negative comments!
OnenessLoveEquality Hahaha that would be great :D
I am so amused by how they were eating the satays. But great to hear that it was tasty hehe
'The phallic nature of it'
KEITH IS MY ONE AND ONLY
Should have Part II of this Episode Where Americans Try more Singapore Cuisine:
Some other suggestions (Both Mains and sides) for you guys and gals from BuzzFeed to try:
Chicken Rice, Chendol / Ice Kachang, Laksa, Chicken Curry, Roti Prata, Nasi Lemak, Cheng Tng, Popiah, Goreng Pisang (Deep Fried Bananas), Curry Puff, Tauhu Goreng.
OMG YESSSS
it's funny that none of these are actually singaporean food
And chilli crab
Crispy Gar Spot on! Chilli Crab!
bro all food that u r stating r Malaysian food-_-
1.Red melons seed is eaten on the new year as like a snack
2.Thanks for the sauce compliment
3.There is no such thing as a street food here in singapore (unless you consider china town, which is only legal there)
4.Finally! No hate shit about my country!
FYI, Singapore is a multi racial country (that means we have food from everywhere and anywhere)
I think you mean "multi-racial" or "multi-ethnicity," multi-rational doesn't really mean anything. But you're right, your part of the World has many different rich cultures and heritages that all provide their own flavor.Plus, I don't know if I've ever had ANY Asian food I didn't like. Then again, I hit the Asian grocery at least once a month and I snack on dried cuttlefish. I'm a weird American.
Joe S. I had a typo on multi rarional
They should try NASI lemak and durian..... First off many Malaysians and Singaporeans don't like it but it originated from here SOO..... Yea and NASI lea am is heaven don't ask... And wat about dim sum and ice cream potong char kuey teow and Asam laksa ahhhhh more heavenly food
Chan Khayi i like malay/muslim food!
Honestly, just because you have food from everywhere and anywhere doesn't make it Singaporean. You can get pizza in Malaysia, but no one classifies it as Malaysian food.
*sigh* You're just eating the melon seeds wrong
+Andrew Vo ikr they eat with the shell on
***** Wait what?
Here in the states, eating warmelon seeds isn't a thing, you see pumpkin, and sunflower, but never melon.
Jacqueline Johnson Oh I live in America
I'm just asian
malaysia and singapore basically share the same foods. malaysian go to singapore to eat hainan chicken rice and they often come here to eat nasi lemak and laksa. other than that, singlish and manglish are basically the same Rojak language. we speak the same language anyway. we're the same country until the separation. and this both country share alot of similarities to indonesian cuisine when it comes to savoury. instead of just mentioning 'Singapore', you could mention Malaysia too.
so truee
As a singaporean, i have to agree with you. At least we know whats happening yrs ago. Unlike some people from a certain country. Smh
I love the guy in the green shirt with black tie! He should have his own channel on CZcams.
All the food are not even Singapore food... -_-
Ikr! They mistook Singapore for China..
It's not China food either
Lei Wenxuan then?
Then...? =/
Lei Wenxuan where does the food come from?
1. those aren't really what we eat. they are like..beer snacks
2.YOU GUYS EAT SATAY WRONG SMH
ikr
True Dat
Tru dat
they aren't saying satay wrong. they are just saying it the way they would read it and why is it different? because they don't speak singlish. i understand that to you, their pronunciation is wrong but they aren't actually so... and the food? singaporeans do eat em the vague term is 'food' pretty sure the video shows them eating ~food~ no hate because i am a singaporean and a satay and food lover
Natalie Lim *eating*
but I agree with you
I love chicken satay. Ooo, and the roasted duck. Chinatown, Little India, and Orchard Road have the best food in Singapore.
I just satay at Lau Pa Sat for New Years yummy!
+Buckeye Lizzy (eambuckeye) You have to head into the heartlands for more authentic food :) Chinatown, Little India and Orchard Road are just for tourists and are way overpriced!
+Anon Kash yeah it's definitely overpriced there.
+Elizabeth Newman (eambuckeye) you can go to chong pang city for the most delicious chicken satay.
I've eaten it in China. It's great
where's laksa? chicken rice? nasi lemak?
Singapore doesn't really have it's own food. We have a mixture of everything. Heh :)
Chicken rice and nasi lemak are singaporean foods :)
Chicken stae is from Thailand!!!
Jaspar Chong nasi lemak is malay and chicken rice (or hainan chicken rice) comes from china....i think chai tow kway (fried carrot cake) is singaporean tho.
surinna boollor we have it too in indonesia. Asia food rocks! 👍👍👌
Chilli Crab is from Singapore
Why are they not eating chili crab and fried hokkien mee and chicken rice and laksa and and and....
They were fed... SNACKS?!? Haw flakes frm china?!? Alamak... Lol
Glad they liked satay tho... 😋
Same but they ate the satay wrong...so disappointing:/
June Hor check out the video Americans taste test Singaporean food they had laksa, chicken rice, char Keat teow and chendol :D
Americans or Non Singaporeans, chicken on a stick is satay.Welcome to my world!(I'm Singaporean).
Hadya Alisha hahaha 😂😂I feel u
Hadya Alisha i am a Singaporean too
Hadya Alisha I'm already in your world.. I'm a Singaporean!
Is there really such a thing as Singaporean food? Wouldn't it be just Chinese, Malaysian or perhaps Indian?
Aragiss I'm afraid there isn't
Nope, not Malaysia
toilet paper I don't think so. Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisines are very different. A south east Asian person might say European cultures are nearly the same too.
Aragiss as there are some food created with combined cuisines like chinese + malay or indian + malay etc
Yes there is such a thing as Singaporean food duhhhhhhhh
It's the first time I've seen you guys not convulse in disgust with anything you do on this series.
Because Singapore is known to be a food haven :D
For all those saying that the foods originated from their country, I'm pretty sure the countries use different spices and stuff to make the dishes different or more unique. Just like how there's Singaporean curry, and Indian curry, and Thai curry. They don't sure don't taste the same, but they're sort of the same dish. There's also the Singaporean Laksa, and laksa from other countries, yes? So stfu and stop trying to take ownership of a dish that other countries perfected when yours couldn't.
100% agree
instead of the notion that drives them to thinking that "just because the food originates from their country: it's theirs', I believe it may innately be more of a political connotation that drives them to such arguments. Like the whole thing with satay, where the Indonesian street food culture is actually highly politicised (obviously, for tourism revenue) and satay happens to be one of the main attraction - and seeing this video indirectly claim it as Singaporean - no surprise over the apparent backlash.
Yeah, and Singapore is made up from people from all over the world, so of course, the main idea of the food will originate from some where else.
Please do Americans try to eat Malaysian food...
yeah!!! I agree!!
+Sabrina Tan me too
+Sabrina Tan I dare them to eat mee rebus, char keow tiao and curry laksa without drinking any water, and after that i dare them to have eat a whole bunch of durian without spitting or stop halfway xD
+Chien Yih Tham woahh... Sedapnyaaaaa 😋😋😋😋
+Chien Yih Tham it's char kway Teow and it's from Singapore same for Laksa
I'm from Singapore and I've never seen any of the snacks in this video.
Not even satay and haw piece? Walao leh cmon lah
I know right CHICKEN SATAY IS AWESOME
HOW HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN CHICKEN SATAY
me too, except for the satay hahah
Cause its malaysian..
I'm singaporean and I dont't even know what's red melon seeds
Angelo Durano I think those are the normal melon seeds that are sometimes eaten during Chinese New Year... except in red colour ._.
Angelo Durano chinese eat them during cny. I never liked it lol. Tastelesss
Omg ikr me too what are those lolol
we like to eat other food of course we don't know lah wahliao
melon seeds are mostly consumed by the older generation (pioneer batch). Its meant as a past time snack plus it gives the person something to do with their hands and mouth. Remember in the olden times, there was only 2 tv channels that broadcast for like 6-8hrs a day and 4 radio stations (a station for each major language). Most people don't have much to entertain themselves with, so eating melon seeds kills time plus its inexpensive.
WOOYEA SINGAPORE POWER!!!! 💪 #proudSingaporean
lel
That last scene of Keith+Eugene trying the squid thing and he's making the squid 'noise' and floating in water motion. Omg, cracked me up. Backed the vid up several times it was so good. XD
I lived in Singapore for about 12 years and have never even heard of all these food... :/
how could u haha they're nice XD
Especially SATAY!!!!
Teehee
My dad is going to work in singapore. very soon
wtf? …I've lived here for a total of 5 years….though i only know haw flakes, and satay is almost a must
Canadian food next? Beaver tails, Nanimo bars, poutine...
Elia Neeley Also ketchup chips :D
I agree.. but I feel like they should put something that would be an acquired taste. It would make it more interesting, you know? Like, Oka cheese
Yeaaaass omg
Beaver tails are so good. My all time favorite Canadian food.
are u serious. beaver tails??
YAY another Singaporean video!!! I'm a proud Singaporean
so glad there was a ep on sg food and u guys enjoyed satay too!
Hey guys love this video and all the other taste test videos. Can you do a test taste from Malaysia. Our food here in Malaysia is awesome! I'd love it if there was a video of that. By the way, satay is from Malaysia although they sell some in Singapore. Thank you 😊😊😊
haha XD
Err no. Satay actually originated from Indonesia though both Malaysia and Singapore sells it. Peace.
They practically did it in this vid
+SaraHaris I know right
As much as I want to hate on Singapore, I really don't care about it. I mean I'm not a hater so I don't hate things but I'm not a lover so I don't like things I'm just neutral. But Malaysia is a pretty awesome country and I guess Singapore ain't that bad. Btw I'm malaysian
haha Dharveena Velan I like Singapore though but I like Malaysia much better. Probably because I am Malaysia. There's only one thing I don't like about Malaysia but I'd rather not say :3
It seems like the only food Buzzfeed liked the most was Singaporean food.
as a singaporean i can assure you they only tried the mediocre foods, there are way better options out there, i suppose they aren't available in America
I'm Vietnamese and my grandmother used to always buy dried pumpkin seeds & red melon seeds! We eat them during Lunar New Year, and they're so fun to crack :D :D :D
You should really try our local food ! like durians, chicken rice, and many more. like if agree
Dominique Tan they would puke if they try durian, not everyone apreciate durians
Judy Khoo actually i will aso puke after eating durian i was just stating a fact
Chicken balls (not actually a rooster's balls, just balls of chicken stuff)
Chicken rice
Naomi King Bubble tea isn't Singaporean at all? =.=
Naomi King Bubble Tea is from Taiwan.
LOL true bubble tea is from Taiwan
CHICKEN SATAY IS INDONESIAN FOOOD!!!!!!!
Agree
Felicia32151 actually if u check wikipedia satay is indonesian food so suck it up and get your facts right
Felicia32151
chill, you don't have to be said all that bad words....+you're not even 100 percent right...
ITS ALSO THAI FOOD !!!!!
I'm an Indonesian, but yeah.. I do think chicken satay with peanut sauce is a south east asia thing. But the sauce is a little different between countries. It's a hard to determine where it is originated... So in conclusion, there's a thai chicken satay, there's a malaysian chicken satay etc
Eugene and keith TRYING STUFF TOGETHER!! OH HELL YES!! my two fave try guys!!
There are so much more snacks then just these OMG as a singaporean I'm slightly offended. What about the Chilli crab? Or like Mee Pok or something. Or maybe Yong Tau Fu. Granted some of these are not exactly 100% singaporean but still.
No one in the US knows how to cook these, so they just let them try packet snacks
Nerissa Goh True... So offended.
Nerissa Goh they need to stop insulting us
Nerissa Goh I'm Super offended as a Singaporean
Very offending if u are Singaporean. I am Singaporean from the west
They need to send these guys to the countries where the food is from. That would be great... Lol... Because there's more to Malaysian / Singaporean food than the items that were chosen.
Obviously, but they can't give them all the foods. That would be too much food and too long of a video. No one with a brain is going to assume Singapore doesn't have any foods besides the ones shown in the video. This is just a small sample, and I think most people get that.
YOU'RE EATING THE SATAY WRONG. YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DIP THE STICK INTO THE SAUCE AND EAT IT. NOT TAKE IT OUT... :(
I only saw 1 person doing it that way
many did that
Stop trying to boss them and tell them to do the way you singaporeans are doing. They're americans so they freaking don't know your way la. Elysia Teo
It's my problem, so you better shut the eff up
It's my problem, so you better shut the eff up
These malaysians be commenting like 'satay is our food not singaporean food'
We indonesians be like 'yeah right'
+Indra ggx EXACTLY LIKE THAT WAS ALL I WAS THINKING!!
Lol
IKR!!
I'm pretty sure the countries use different spices and stuff to make the dishes different. Just like how there's Singaporean curry, and Indian curry, and Thai curry.
racist.
fav try guys in the intro, ty buzzfeed for the pleasant surprise
Satay is malaysian tho
Sharing is caring. Singapore used to be part of Malaysia so OFCOURSE we have similar foods. Especially since we have malay people toooooo 👍👍
sidi marajo malaysian came from malaysia. Not indonesia
They are all awesome tho
my life malaysian comes from many indonesian islands. that's why indonesian island is called 'malay archipelago'. read up on your geography and history dik...
amirul fazli That's like saying Americans are from England. Malaysia and America are pretty diverse so there's no telling where they're from since they're ancestry are from all over the world. You must have confused nationality and ethnicity.
Kieth acting like a squid was the best thing in this episode.
I want to travel to singapore again just to eat salted egg chicken, sweet jesus so good !!
red melon seeds . we mostly ear them during chinese new year. my grandma always have them on the table with other sugar candies
"CHICKEN ON A STICK!"
NOOO, It's SATAY!
NO THAT's NOT HOW YOU EAT SATE (SATAY) YOU DIP THE SATE AND YOU EAT RIGHT OIT OF THE STICKS DUDE😩😩
oh and in indonesia we usually eat satays with lontong which is like rice but like shaped. Cant explain it sorry jahahhahaha
Ooo... I love lontong
It's not spelt as sate but satay
Kai Li Lee nope. it's sate in bahasa.
Zahra Adjie in malaysia we called it sate minang
nasperawan in America we call it Crap.
as someone who was born and lived in singapore, i am pretty hyped by the recognition it's getting!
the red melon seeds (melon seeds dyed red) are meant to be cracked open before eating the crunchy part inside. and it is delicious
chicken satay is very popular within the malay archipelago. and the satay was supposed to be dipped into the peanut sauce. sometimes they serve it with kicap manis instead in some parts of indonesia. too bad there wasnt any ketupat to go with the satay. in singapore there is also a food place called satay by the bay (near gardens by the bay)
Lool on "Singapore doing it right" when satay actually came from Malaysia. Means they didn't like Singaporean food but they liked Malaysian
Wow, really go learn history you dumbfk :)
It's just food from the whole m'sia-indonesia region. It's not malaysian, more like malay food.
Wrong Hazim. Singapore is a Malay island and the indigenous people of Singapore are Malays. Therefore satay, ketupat, lontong, asam pedas, kuah lodeh etc etc are also Singaporean food.
the conclusion is satay is malaysian, singaporean and indonesian food.
Satay is from Indonesia go study b4 commenting la like ur Najib holding the coconut
I dropped everything when I saw this like
WHAT SINGAPORE
And all the food except the last one I'm like
Aw
You could eat some better ones XD
Like
Why no Prata?
Chicken rice, Chili crab, maybe Tom Yam?
Oh oh
and Ice Kachang! Would Kaya toast even be considered? Like the Kaya toast with the eggs?
What is that snack... Sweet peanut snack? Hwa sen tang?
And if its all just snacks then the White Rabbit sweets
Mamee (god I hope they actually USE the seasoning)
Also guys, guys
You say the food all come from all the different countries
I get that but if that was the case there'd be like nothing to be under Singapore's name.
If the recipe was brought over from the original country and in Singapore so long, it would have changed bit by bit. I'd like to call what is in Singapore here and now Singaporean food, unless it's those shops that are like "Imported from [insert country here]"
YES
Yes!
That's the way bro
except Mamee *is* imported from Malaysia. Just saying. But I'd rather eat the food than argue about what country it is from.
Tung Jean San Good enough **opens new packet** Want?
andrew looks so deadpan the entire time and i love it.
In the netherlands, peanut sauce is the second most popular dip sause for fries, second only to mayonaise.
Everything before satay isn't exactly "Singaporean" singaporean food...
you guys should have tried other local food here like chicken rice, nasi lemak, laksa and chilli crab. No one eats haw slices and melon seeds every day... those are just snacks and i don't even know where they originated from.....
sidi marajo oh watever... singapore, indonesian and malaysian food has no diff... singapore has malay, chinese, indian and westerners... so its a whole new country with 4 diff races..
Jang WC ya okay they aren't something we eat everyday but i guess it's hard to get sg food in the us? especially getting an authentic one? Although to be fair to your comment, I don't eat melon seeds EVER. Like never did O.o
Also those saying satay is not singaporean food well i guess it isn't but at the same time, the version that singapore has just doesn't taste the same as indonesian one! it's the chili maybe or a different sweet soya sauce :/
I agree with you my friend, like come on!! Squid chips?!?! And that round thing, I think i know what's that but "in fact" it's not packed in the classic small cylinder pack that we know in singapore, if there's fast food to portray, it's gonna be Maggi instant noodles, agree?
Jang WC I love haw chips, just saying.
But yeah, you can't find them anymore. Ironically, I get them from Malaysia.
Annabelle Chua you can actually get them in older stores... like those near Bugis (near the temples) or Chinatown or any old provision shops.
Damn! You guys should try Durian...
they tried it in another video and half of them died before they could even taste it
What video was it?
Exotic Asian Food Test
I have heard of that word but never seen it.What's it look like?
in english must be called "Thorns Fruit"
because durian is clearly indonesian word
The first 9 seconds.. Holy crap that building!!! SUPER FUTURISTIC!!
We need these people back in the new buzzfeed videos.
I visited Singapore once and it was the cleanest, prettiest country I've ever been to. ^.^
"Why do people like stuff on sticks?"
"The phallic nature of it." LMAO
WOOP SATAY ! You guys should've drank Bandung , I love it !!! ( I'm not sure if it's originated in Singapore tho )
OMG IM SO MAD THEY DIDNT EAT THE SATAY PROPERLY OMGOMGOMG THEY TOOK THE CHICKEN OFF THE STICK ok im overreacting.
satay so delicious when you deep in the sauce
THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DIP THE WHOLE STICK ONGOGMOGMGOGNGOGMGOGNGOGM
i knowwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol
me too
Chun Meng Quek I eat satay like that an im a singaporean :/
Next episode.... "Rich People Try Poverty-Stricken Food"
(A few suggestions): Sugar water, Syrup sandwich, Gov't cheese sandwich, Mustard sandwich, Ramen noodles w/ scrambled eggs & leftover smoked sausage, Fried Bologna sandwich, Apple Surprise (1/2 cut apple- remove core-add peanut butter), etc...
We LOVE satay with peanut/sate sauce in the Netherlands. We got the best from our Indonesian countrymen.
Thanks u for reviewing Singapore food!! Local here
I'm from Singapore and do you guys have something against Singaporeans?
In some only
And the sauce is peanut sauce
I was borned in Singapore and it's my home land but i never even seen red melon seeds! I know that our snacks and chips are pretty great and we had alot of them growing up, oh! My parents love pumpkin or pistachios for the lunar new year and also in Chinese 'bah kuah' it's like a roasted pork meat and it's kinda pricey for us but realllllllllyyyyyyy delicious! (We only buy these roasted pork slices/meat during the lunar new year because it's pricey for the poor to normal economic people ,unless you are rich and you love it so much but it is unhealthy if you eat too much )You Gotta try it out! It's better than the chicken satay u guys tried! Please try the 'bah kuah'! It's a must try!
It is nice!!!
I LOVE BAH KUAH!!!!! I LOVE SINGAPORE's FOODS!!!!
Jun Jie see!! Someone here loves it too!! It's a must try!! And like what ***** said, chicken rice is also yummy!!
LOL!! Chicken Rice is not my favourite food but I have a instinct on eating it.
BAK KWAAAAAA!!!!
Korean food! Kimchi, dduk bokki, soondae (pig intestine filled with noodles, rice, etc.. very delicious if you get the image out of your head), BBBig ice cream (red bean) etc. I could think of so much, and I'd be willing to send some in if buzzfeed accepts donations lol....
Im a Filipino and I appreciate SG's food! I lovve Bean Curd and Hainanese the best!!
when Keith did the octopus noise I started drooling out of hunger
lol I'm in Singapore right now and never had anyone of those. Except for Satay. Om nom nom nom nom.
Most of the snacks are pretty old, so it's kinda tough to find them on the shelves here
Kevin L. i think most of us born in the late 80s and onwards typically only have them during cny at our relatives' houses yea?
When your literally praying
"Pls pls plsss don't pull the meat off the stick"
But in the end they still did
*sighs in depression*
I just got back from Singapore and I must say that is THE place to go for amazing food. chili crab, Satay, chicken rice.... oh yes.
I love how he doesn't miss a beat when he says "The phallic nature".
God dammit if there are more comments about food being from other countries and not from Singapore again,I'm gonna kill myself
Bcos indonesians know nothing abt migration.
@MotoGP Update really?
Lol... I'm so happy seeing this:) Singaporean for life:):):) and the food is AWESOME! U haven't tried the REAL food yet
Keith and Eugene singing a song about my country('s food) - i can die happy now
you guys should do a clip on tasting malaysian foods. they're tasty too!
"Singaporean Food". Yeah, right. Plus, those aren't real foods, more like snacks to me.
Tahu takpe
snacks are food if you didn't already know
chris jones I believe you understand what I meant.
They can be found in most asian countries :/
There's lots of Singaporean food. Hainanese chicken rice, Chilli crab, rice noodles, etc. You'd know this if you had traveled there and weren't an ignorant.
IS THIS JUST KIDDING NEWS MUSIC?
You're gorgeous
+CrAzYsNiPezzz234 you know you said that to a guy right? XD
Mudda JK is the best
ur profile pic tho... taetae♡ I'm an army btw hehe! :)
they should do singaporeans react to "any" food. though we had tasted most of them =)
OMG the my grandma used to buy the haw flakes and I loved them, but never knew what they were called until now.
Try swedish food!
I'll send you some, if you pay me Buzzfeed!
Lisa Falk kjøttbollar
I like Swedish meatball with lingonberry, not sure if that's authentic Swedish but I like it
***** that shit is waaack
***** that shit is waaack
When I went to Singapore all I ate was freaking chicken and rice
omg the same haha
Chicken satay is so effing good! I want to visit Singapore again just to have their street food!
YAY SINGAPORE MADE IT ONTO BUZZFEED. I LIVED THERE FOR 10 YEARS!!!!!! I LOVE SINGAPORE 🇸🇬!!!!!!
Satay is not from Singapore... Duhhh... Satay marinated with spices and herbs, served with peanut gravy, that's Malaysian satay.
Indonesian satay like satay padang is different. The meat is not marinated and the gravy is so delicious and spicy. Its not peanut gravy.
Singapore claims they own satay, that's absurd.
When did Singapore said they own satay. Thouught it originate from Indonesia?
