The trauma these parents are going through, my son is in high school and a student came to school with a loaded gun - he was caught but it has left us worried and shaken. I can’t imagine what these people are feeling right now.

@@johnbhovi John. In Chicago, the law was not enforced except after the fact. Oh you stole top secret documents AND you hid the fact. It was used just as an add on charge. A better example is Japan, which actually has no guns and no gun deaths. Except for the guy who made his own and shot Shinzō Abe. We may need guns because too many a55hole cops think they own the streets. And in some areas they do. They have a strong union and good salaries, guns, and an attitude. With a pension from the cops, another from the fire department and another from being an EMT. These guys are dreamng of their reirement on the Spanish Riviera.
@2old4die how would you form a militia without private ownership of guns ? Send a request form to the local or federal government to form a militia to overthrow them? See how that goes. And Japan is completely irrelevant to this matter. Chicago is used as an example because they banned handgun ownership and private sales in 1982, yet despite that, the murder rate for handguns has gone up annually. So clearly gun laws won't fix the problem. Yet places with more laid back gun laws have significantly lower murder rates by gun. Armed guards work. If they didn't, the most important people in the world wouldn't have them. Why not do the same for children.

Here's a sad true story 😭
One day at my school we were watching a movie (last day before christmas break) my school didn't have fancy door locks or security cameras, so it was an easy target. then, out of nowhere, a guy walked in our classroom and starting shooting it up. he killed 6 students and my teacher, one including my sister and one my best friend 😭 he also managed to shoot three students roaming in the hallway 😢. You'll never be forgotten 😭😭😭

Add more ARMED guards in the schools. These monsters are walking into schools to murder innocent unarmed children and staff because they know the people inside these schools are helpless. This has to stop criminals will always get guns everyone keeps yelling gun laws well we have laws now in place against shooting and killing people but the evil cowards still do it. Laws aren't going to stop this from happening. Officers inside and faculty with weapons can provide protection for these innocent children.
