Kinda deserved, with the recoil changes you don’t need to hype focus recoil reduction parts and that appears to be all this dude did.
Pair that with the fact this dude did a low recoil build on a gun that effectively shoots one bullet at a time and I’d say he had it coming.
That dude was aiming for that place to clear campers like him. Had he a more effective gun, that half o'second of delay costed his life. The more appropriate thing is to wonder if the victim understood the issue that caused it and did he get better for his future raids

The hybrid 46 is my preferred silencer for the M700- 6 points more ergo compared to thunderbeast at about 0.15 kg increased weight. It also increases muzzel velocity slightly more FWIW.

MVF001 foregrip has very off putting bug on that m700 chassis. As you swing your camera view, left hand, which is holding foregrip, gets bent in inverse direction. I am not sure if it is present on every player model, but I am USEC. So if you have same problem just take cobra foregrip with +9 ergo, -1 recoil.
funnily enough having your arm twisted at that angle is covering your thorax more and is actually better

I honestly thought ergo dictated how long you could ads... this has blown my mind...
The ergo version of the m700 is exactly the same as one I have saved. Definitely my favorite bolt action to run. The ergo is amazing and you can hold it up for so long. I opt for the 5 round magazine, though. I've either killed or been killed by whoever I'm shooting at before I go through more than 10 rounds with a bolty.

I'm a big fan of the 5 round polymer mag. It's a 5 ergo swing and honestly... when are you firing more than 6 bullets from a bolty? Either you go leg -> torso x2 or you fail your headshot and try for a second thorax shot. The chance, that your target stays in the open for 10+ seconds to fire your 6 shots but not long enough, that you don't have time to swap the mag are super low. I rather take the extra 1-2 frames ADS - especially on the polymer chassis that's super cheap as well.
You can by the f1 st2 the one with yellow cord on it with skier and it’s the black version and it only costs 17k roubles better than the Orion in my opinion

Why you’d use anything but the highest ergo attachments on a bolt action rifle, I’ve no idea. What’s the point of recoil control?
Keymod ergo grip, viper PDW stock and hybrid 46 suppressor are the only correct choices.
Bonus if you use the red buffer tube that gives better accuracy and other bonuses
Can you add a LARP-er variant as welll. All this guns look so goofy his starter weapon,ergo and weight build.
The PDW stocks are often grossly underrated - anything that you're using in single fire (bolt-action or semi-auto) generally benefits from them. They're my favorites for ADAR shenanigans, frex.
Although I’m not a huge fan of how easy it is to get overweight, and how quickly the debuffs start, I have enjoyed min maxing the weight of every aspect of the kit, down to taking a couple less rounds or swapping a ULACH for a bastion.

Built a 700 with like 70-80 ergo lol. It was so snappy and not even just "for a sniper"
I proceed to immediately lose it of course lol

For what it's worth, the DLV-10 Saboteur is better in every aspect than the M700. Better stats fully modded, way quieter, waaay cheaper to mod. Correct me if I'm wrong though. The only downside I noticed is limited magazine availability.
Well everything except weight, and it's only slightly worse. Better ergo, better MOA, better recoil, better velocity, quieter, better camo, and it's significantly cheaper since you sell the normal barrel for 22k back to mechanic for the saboteur barrel.

Wait. 32 ergo is low? *Looks at my 3.5 ergo SVDS* Hm.
What's the point of focusing on recoil on a bolty? If it was more of a DMR it would make more sense. You would wanna follow up with another shot asap.
Becuase the lower the recoil the more of your scope stays in vision after firing, which means you retain your aim better. An unmodified mosin with a 3.5 pu scope will complete remove the target from the sight picture, which means you need to regain target before firing again. (whereas these modified m700s will somehwat retain the target within the sight picture making target acquisition easier.)
I build my m700 always with an silencerco suppressor and the AICS Stock. Gives you around 35 ergo in total and its super light only around 4-4,5kg depends on the scope and mag u use. U can scope in for so long with it because of the low weight. I just did hunting trip with this setup the other day and it worked perfect
Just build a suppressed dvl for 140k and call it a day, best bolty by far.
Yeah, I never managed to make a bolty work, but my squad has a dedicated sniper and I know for sure his preferred weapon is always suppressed DVL. Honestly the sound of it going off in the distance gives me a dopamine hit too which is a bonus
Yeah..I just dont see why youd ever use the hybrid(for basically any gun tbh), the DD wave is essentially the same thing but just better since it has less recoil and some accuracy(not that it really matters), and all you lose is a single point of ergo. I basically never use the Hybrid on any gun unless you have to, the suppressor itself isnt bad or anything, but the fact you have to use an adapter and not a muzzle break/flash hider just makes it automatically much worse than any top tier suppressor.
I use ironsights and flash hiders on my m700s. I want them to hear I am in the raid.

I would like to hear one genuine reason to use a bolt action over a semi automatic 308 rifle , rfb costs the same or less, sr25 is cheap enough and 10x better in every situation. Moa isnt a factor in tarkov unless your shooting the length of the maps and even then who wouldnt rather have 19 follow ups instead of choking the shot and barely getting a second one off before they get in cover

I actually don’t understand why people use bolt action snipers over semi automatic snipers or assault rifles with scopes. I only know to use them for low MOA, but why else?
a good bit of quest that want you to kill lots of things with a boltaction
- shooter born in heaven (5 headshots on nearly every map)
- the tarkov shooter line ( total of like 32 kills with variable conditions and then TS8 you have to kill 3 pmc with headshots without dying)
- another 5 pmc without dying for psyco sniper
so in total you are at like 65-70 kills total before you get to the quests witout dying
You’re forced to use to them for a lot of quests, but otherwise, they don’t really have a place in the game
For me it's just fun to use bolt actions.

Yes the Hybrid is better is the best for ergo but its way to expensive. thats why the Daniel Denfence is so much better. only 1 ergo less than the hybrid but WAY cheaper

Hybrid has a RAM barter that makes it cost around 50K, honestly my go-to if I want to use the Hybrid on my guns

He picked up an extremely modded gun that doesn't benefit much at all from the mods on it. That is the point of this video. I did psycho sniper and tarkov shooter 8 with a mosin on first try. Does that mean DVL-10, M700 and all other bolt action rifles are useless?
Yes, it probably came from Jaeger 4, but the video still demonstartes pretty well why you might not want to purchase it, don't you think? That is also ignoring the foregrip, the suppressor, and the pistol grip that didn't come from Jaeger.
@@umbrella4407 the thing about bolt-action rifles is that they dont need ergo and weight is only one of the important measures other ones being accuracy, scope setup and ammo that is the weapon zeroed for. for your dvl-10/ M700 vs mosin example mosin has accuracy of 1.44 moa and with scope from the video max range is around 150 meter from prone. dvl 10 that is loud has accuracy of 0.45 moa zeroed for m80 with good scope setup you can hit targets from 450 meters if you want to be supperest you use orsis with supresor from this video +3 accuracy on muzzle brake moa is 0.63 or you use sv-98 with lps ( if you dont want to calculate adjustments ) 0.59 moa or PS with 0.50 moa ( you have to calculate zeroing deviation ) if you want to teach someone how to mod thier weapon atleats understand how to do so XD
None of the things you bring up has any relevancy in your average tarkov game. Where do you plan on going on streets where you will shoot people at such a distance that MOA actually matters? Practically all bolt actions have good accuracy and it is arguably the LEAST important stat because of the typical engagement distance not being that long. As long as your gun ain't broken you will be fine. You are acting like everyone who uses a bolt action plan on sniping people from lighthouse water treatment or woods sniper rock. Most of the time you will just try to point and click on heads, and when you miss it will be because you missed, not because you didn't zero your gun.
