Put a stretch armstrong inside the vacuum chamber
Action Lab already did this. Just like he already made this video.
Gurosama Bltch and let's not forget vac man
hassent he already done that or was it someone else
btw he should make a trash can sized vortex fountain
Tyler ames action lab also put vacman in a vacuum
Let's collab with Elon Musk and actually test some of this in space. Who's coming?
lol sure lets jump in the rocket
:)
Yes let’s do it
The King of Random what kind of speaker was that
Put a Tesla in the vacuum chamber
Do it!

Due to no oxygen and being over -300 the temp constricts all matter in some way
@@user-ij9xi5ey9j If sound wave don't travel in a vacuum, how did we communicate with astronauts in space... ?
Excellent demonstration. All I ever did with my vacuum chamber was high voltage experiments using different gases.
electronicsNmore Well aren’t you a double chocolate chip cookie.
You would have to make one big enough to fit the other one it with the pump in it
Go bigger and make a fusion reactor instead of a fusor
Like farts
Basically neon tubes :p
Now all you need to see is if a vacuum will work in a sound chamber!
my prediction is:
what is a sound chamber?
Ben Masta TT
Ben Masta yeah probably the greatest questions that mankind has yet to find answers for...
Being in a sound chamber for too long can actually lead to disorientation or even hallucinations.
Ben Masta I
It's called an anechoic chamber.
I hated watching these type of videos during school but yet find them super interesting at home...wtf 😂
JT Luxx so true
Dude u r so lucky.... I'm lucky if I can watch a 2 min video on CNN news at school
MR. RABBITS being lucky to watch cnn is an oxymoron lol.
at school you don't have a choice and they don't make it interesting enough
It's all a matter of choice.
I GOT THE SONG IT IS
DAXTEN - IN THE CLOUDS
it took me literally a Hour to find it but have Fun with it
Is it on youtube? I've been looking for about a full day now lol
EcchiSamurai its on Spotify
you are my hero
thank you
I wanted to hear that song so bad
I'd love to see what happens to bacteria in a vacuum! Maybe some before and after shots through a microscope at them?
This is too smart for them to do... sadly.
Get in touch with Cody's Lab, he's much smarter than these two. In fact, I believe he already made that video, or at least one alike.
If he uses aerobic bacteria’s, then they’ll die as they need oxygen
That's a bad idea
Even NASA took MAJOR precautions when doing that because they didn't know how it would affect the microbiology
Hmmm..didnt hear anything?
Realized volume was off until end of video.
Well that *sucks*
How would you not notice?... You wouldve seen him talking( mouth moving) but no audio. I'm guessing you would have noticed something
Storm Rapidz I have that speaker, the only way you could tell that the speaker was of or on is if you see a purple-ish light on the top side of it... so it could be on or off.
Storm Rapidz it literally took the whole video just to realize you didn't have your volume up?
Put an EGG in your Vacuum chamber. Also, another soft egg that was soaked in Vinegar for 2 days.
yas
Implode? Didn't you mean to say *explode* ? The pressure inside the egg will be higher than the pressure in the vacuum chamber, so the air will want to expand, resulting in an explosion, not an implosion.
The results are as I expected, and I am glad you alternated your instruments like you did. and the stuff that was transmitting the sound in the jar was the mic itself. Sound vibrates everything. And that's all sound is, a vibration.
Miles
We can party in Mars with basic speaker then. Right?
Yes mars has a atmosphere
All you have to do is get there. Just bring a louder stereo than normal
yes! because mars is not a vacuum, it has a little bit of a atmosphere.
Mars isn't a has a atmosphere but it might sound deeper since ço2 is more dence
That's kinda interesting, our voices and other sounds would be much deeper on Mars.
Experiment with Ferrofluid! Ferrofluid is a magnetic substance, please try it! Love the videos!
We did .. coming soon ;)
The King of Random :D
the command blocker what on fire , you would need something that burns without air......as the vacuum sucks all air out. Would probably explode if you pulled it off.
Mason Rackley
Have just realized that i need to build a vacuum chamber also when you clean a vacuum cleaner you become a vacuum cleaner
Thugachu Waffles actually a vacuum cleaner cleaner
In the vacuum of outer space you can play your music as loud as you want!
put a mobile phone inside vacuum chamber and check if it catches signals...
It does, electromagnetic waves don't require a medium to propagate.
A loudspeaker could possibly change due to the negative pressure, so that the music does not sound right anymore. Instead, for example, try a motor that turns something that constantly beats something else, like a bell. then fix it on a small board and place it like the speaker.
Yah could be distorting the speaker cone/suspension. Should've used something more solid state, like a peizo!
Thought already of a piezo buzzer but could possibly be influenced.
What would happen if you put a chip bag inside of a vacuum chamber?
Timothy Miller its allover youtube just search it up...
Timothy Miller the chip elf would come and add more chips to the bag xD
It will only pop
Timothy Miller it crushes all the chips and crumbles up the packet
The air in the chip bag crumbles and is converted into chips
Ironically I was using the same speaker while watching this 😂 love your videos!

Very Cool. I use a Zoom H1 also, it's a handy little recorder.
Put Lightbulb into a liquid nitrogen 👊👑
If it's one of those old incandescent lightbulbs, you would see some solid argon appearing. If it's a fluorescent one, you might see a tiny bit of solid mercury in the bottom.
Jimmy Fallon North Korea cheerleaders
Lightbulb explodes. Great experiment
The light would probably get very bright as well.
Put dry ice with boiled water in your vacuum chamber and find it out what happened...........tanishq goyal (from)
*Great*
Please do a Video: "What does Bread do in a Vacuum Chamber?"
That would be AWESOME!
Go the opposite direction now. Put the speaker in a pressurized chamber and see if it amplifies the sound?
Dustin Loyal sound isn't amplified by medium - it travels faster in a denser medium
So I guess my question then would be what would happen to the sound if put in a pressurized container.
Do this with a magnetically levitated speaker.
That's what i was saying
Lojobo Cuber i dont think it would make a different, because it’s not air particles holding it up, it’s a magnetic field which isn’t effected by air particles.
The sound wouldn't be able to pass throw the walls of the chamber if it was levitating.
the tiny amount of sound left was from tiny amount of air left, had nothing to do with contact, levitating speaker would leave same results.
Siiello that was a hypothesis not a fact, dismissing something as a final irrefutable fact is not science.
There's no proof either way and there's always more space for experimentation.
Vibrations have a possibility to pass through any matter, including fluffy white solids.
I didn't think the Bluetooth would work through a vacuum - but if it didn't we wouldn't be able to communicate with robots in outer space/other planets. Very cool experiment!
That was cool! So I guess that if you scream in space, someone CAN hear you if you are both in the vacuum chamber 😂
Try putting Pop Rocks or soda in a vacuum chamber. They both have CO2 in them.
Ichar it’s just going to reach equilibrium vapor pressure and then boil out...
What happens when you put molten metal in vacume chamber? Can you do this experiment?please
thunder bolt I'm sure as long as he puts that material in the metal foundry into the vacuum chamber it won't affect it much
There is a chance that it begins to form a gas as the lower pressures increase the boiling and melting points, resulting in the hot being hotter and the cold being colder, giving us gaseous metal.
By the time you put the molten metal into the vacuum chamber and get everything prepared and create the vacuum, the metal will solidify. If you were somehow able to have it molten by the time it goes in the vacuum, it probably boil because there's almost no pressure, and you could end up with some gas of the metal. Everything can be a solid, liquid, or gas with enough heat or lack of heat or with lack of pressured.
thunder bolt it would cool instantly
Would the glass jar break as the molten metal start touching it?
lol we had the exact same test in physics class
The answer is wrong
Sound can't travel without air 🔊☁
That was interesting🤔

If I had a choice between standing in the atmosphere next to where rap is being played or in a vacuum next to where rap is being played, I'll take the vacuum every freaking time. Better to live a moment of peace than a lifetime of retching.
Sounds like actual vacuum chambers too! Great experiments infect.
c'mon, there IS NO sound in vacuum
Shave yourself weirdo...
Theres no air in there for the sound waves to bounce off.
That applies with a true vacuum such as space, a vacuum chamber isn’t a true vacumm
In a perfect vacuum. His machine isn't going to create a perfect vacuum.
@Matthew No..there's no air for the sound waves to travel through. It's not about bouncing off.
Is there no vacuum in space as there is 0 gravtational field force?
Bruh this is like 7th class science....
If u put a speaker in a vacuum chamber u won't hear anything or just a bit because there is no medium (air, water, etc). U maybe hear something but that's only because we haven't made a complete vacuum yet.
Thats technically right...but its still interesting to watch
Muntadher Saeed it's not technically right, it is completely right. And I'm sure it's interesting to watch if you're in about 3-10th grade I bet.
LikeA Lol
yeah....
Im writing the behalf of them....kinda
My first reaction was "I had that speaker!" XDD
Same here!
Well, you just blew away the theory that they used radio waves to talk to the president on the phone in 1969 from the moon.
Put a smartphone inside a vacuum chamber and try to call it with another phone.
The phone inside would still receive the call and you would hear the vibrations as it would be touching the glass of the chamber.
I guess the better experiment (if anything) would be start a call and while the call is going put the phone in the vacuum chamber and you could listen to silence lol
Put pizza dough in the vacuum chamber then make the pizza
"Sorry I'm super white."

What will happen if a mercury touches liquid nitrogen and will it freeze?
Mercury freezes at -38.83 °C.
Hamba 101 - Tutorials, Guides, & Gaming it freezes and you can even bend it
They've done it before i think...
If not, then i may be confusing with a different youtuber
Diogo Ayres cody's lab did it once.
Oh yeah, thank you for reminding me.
I'd say it's time to get a better vacuum pump.
me217 true, and a better chamber then too. I recommend a turbomolecular-drag pump backed by a scroll pump.
me217 the pump could probably pull a 28" vacuum... its the chamber
Thanks! Now I know what to do when I cant turn down the volume of my speakers! 😂
Lol😂
Haha.... :)
Yes 😂
Lollll XD 😂😀😅😅😇😁😂😂😂😂😂😂
great, now I love science again :')))
Thanks I have always wondered about this. Would have been cool if you had a sound meter in there to measure the decibel count.
Great, Now make one large enough to put Fergie in
I miss the old King of Random :c
HotGamerChica where is he?
The only flower in a pause.... with his familie. Father time
What happen to him?
Guillermo Vazquez nothing....hes on a break
Muntadher Saeed ohh
I really like this one, thank you for testing this.
It seems to me that it isn't enough of a vacuum to prevent the transmission of sound. At least not much anyway. That suggests that sound can transmit through very thin air. But the vacuum jar itself does an excellent job of blocking the transmission of sound. This is likely because it is an airtight chamber. This actually supports the idea that air is needed for the transmission of sound. The movement of air to be specific.
Mad scientist😎😎😎😎
Can you build a simulated human in there to see what would happen?
Charles Green everything in its body would collapse
you'd basically melt
Ian Collins not really
Ian Collins only if you put a human in a microwave
you mean put a mouse in a vacuum?
For the mic inside and speaker outside, how about attaching the speaker to the glass?
Also you might get some better isolation if you hang them from the top using string or something, instead of having them sit on the bottom.
Very cool experiment. It's basically outer space in that chamber
So what was the point if playing david bowie on a loop in space if it cant be heard????
Fakex
Put a vacuum chamber in a vacuum chamber
Bakulkosha
Very Indepth genius methods to test sound in vacuum chamber.
I recommend also a different method to eliminate the possability of sound traveling through the glass and epoxy chambers. Use a mangetic levitation speaker. the magnetic base at the bottom but outside the vacuum chamber. the chamber lifted and supported above with out touching the base. and the speaker in the inside aligned to the magnetic eddie current lines. so youll have an isolated levitating speaker inside the chamber that is magnetically locked to the base which is also not touching the vacuum chamber. If you still hear anything at all, then that is a mystery in itself that requires our attention and further research
Wow I found that quite satisfying, and I learned something, great vid!
What would happen if you froze Napalm in liquid nitrogen and tried to light it on fire?
Eve Dixon it would probably light on fire, although the actual recipe for napalm is still a secret as far as I know but if I had to guess i think it might stay on fire
Eve Dixon
Before any material can ignite, it must reach its kindling temperature. The kindling temperature of gasoline is 280° C. The kindling temperature of napalm is much higher than that. Frozen napalm, like frozen gasoline, will not burn.
shinaanish I just want to see how napalm behaves in liquid nitrogen

Can you put pizza dough in a vacuum chamber and then cook a pizza.
Kyle Milluzzo yes!
Probably similar effect to the vacuumed cake. Not much difference, just less air in the dough and thus a slightly different structure.
It'll probably cause the dough to not rise properly and end up being sort of rubbery. Might be an effective way to make day old pizza in less than a day, if you're into that sorta thing.
Finally, I requested this long agoooooo!
I’ve done this in my science class, we used a bell that was almost deafening and we could not hear it at all when it was in a vacuum sealed glass container

Put a speaker in different gases.
Zero Playz you wont hear a difference
Yes, you will, because different gasses have different densities, so it will be either higher pitched if the density is lower (helium, hydrogen...) or lower pitched if it's higher (sulfur hexafluoride, argon...)
Idk y this was so interesting to me lol
WOW!!! this is so cool.. i love science

Can you make a remote controle car powered by solar panels
We'd need to do a 100% vacuum to confirm but what might be happening is the sound is focused enough to direct the energy to bounce the sound waves around the chamber hence the soft sound on the mic's recording in the chamber.
Makes sense. The Plexiglas would conduct sound. But wouldn't sound break through the vacuum?
[Edit]: Yes it does, but barely. Maybe it was the glass itself? Sounds would bounce around in the container.

How a Drone inside a moving car will move? wrt car or wrt ground?
Arun Kumar a bit of both. It would lag behind the acceleration of the car, but, in general, it will hover in relation to the car
Action lab done that already
I always wondered on that question
Look up frame of reference... there’s a whole bunch of physics concepts that deal with displacement inside of moving objects, it’s really interesting
Done already in the Action Lab. As well as this one.
If add more air in the high pressure chamber will it be louder??
T Kevin Vacuum chamber means there’s no air in it, that’s why you can’t hear it. Of course if there’s more air you can hear it, he even demonstrated this in the video.
He said "pressure chamber" that is a chamber that has a higher than normal pressure, not a vacuum chamber being re-pressurized . He wants to know if the speaker would be louder with a higher than normal pressure. So, you would need to use a pressure chamber.
Yes
I wish I could be in a room that quiet for a day
Interesting test, A live Spectrogram image may have been interesting as well.

👌👌Will a gun fire in a vacum chamber??????👌👌
Yes the air and gun powder are both sealed inside the casing. Same reason that a gun will fire under water.
V2 weapons yes
No air to make the gun powder to combust so no
Clash With Arthur the air is already in the casing. Hence guns fire under water.
pretty sure this was on mythbusters and yes
That, kids, is why nobody can hear you scream in space.
