How did you bleed air out of oil system?
Just remove oil cap on new reservoir ( with engine running ) until it fills up on its own?
Or something different

Air bleed vent (screw) on the top of the oil pump housing.

Does this year Merc 115hp idle on 2cyl ?

Ya, they called it the 2+2. Runs on 2cyl at lower speeds. After like 1500rpms (or somewhere around there, 500rpms +/-), the other 2cyl kicks in.

Is there away to install a tilt switch on that motor so you want have to tilt from the front of the boat

I would have deleted the oil injection on that motor
