- Here are all the Toronto Maple Leafgs playoff overtime goals from 1990 - 2016. I couldn't find video or decent quality video of 3 goals:
Game 2 1996 Round 1 (vs St. Louis)
Game 4 1999 Round 2 (vs Pittsburgh)
Game 3 2003 Round 1 (vs Philadelphia)
If you know of decent quality video those three goals let me know and I'll add them.
For the Peter Zezel goal I couldn't find a better video. It starts during the goal, sorry. - Sport
"Sundin" PING "SCORES!!!!!" Man I love Bob Cole's calls
Bob knew it was going in, he paused for dramatic effect PING lol
Bob cole was an absolute beauty!
Best voice in hockey.
Beg to differ...Joe Bowen. But to each his own.
leafs need to bring back the goal horn from the early 2000s
The roof blew off MLG on Killer's OT goal - listen to that crowd
So nice to see Pat Burns and Pat Quinn behind that Leaf bench...RIP to both
TheGiua1973 great coaches
add Peter Zezel
Best coaches the team has had in the last 40 years.
The clip starting at 3:20 is insane! I refer to the “clutch and grab” era often but when I see it again, I can’t believe it was ever allowed! There’s at least three over the top hooks that you’d never ever see in todays game!
Lots of great memories here. The Gartner goal is still vivid to me because I was convinced the Leafs were going out in overtime: a Sharks shot off the bar and luckily one pass to many in front of a helpless Potvin. And I was just getting rid of a 24 hour bug and recalling a solar eclipse here(Halifax) on a gorgeous, hot spring day. The 99 run reminds me of my Mom because she was dying of cancer and I needed SOMETHING to be happy about and she was too medicated to really take in much of the playoffs. The Roberts goal was the perfect ending to one of the most exciting and nerve wracking games I've ever seen. I still have a hard time following the path of the Anderson goal. Steve Thomas was one of the most underrated Leafs of all time. Great stuff. Thanks.
Mike Poitras Gezz mike, sounded like you had a tough go. Hope things are looking better for ya. Leafs are better too! Lol!
There's nothing more quintessentially Canadian than Bob Cole calling a playoff game at MLG.
only him calling playoff games at Montreal Forum can come close
We always had the Sens' number lol. Everytime we were matched up with them in the playoffs, I was like fuckkk yeah, we're gonna advance!
Beautiful stuff, I grew up during this era, and a lot of these goal are fond memories.
Bob Cole 🎙️♥️
I miss the Pats. :(
Considering the Leaf team we have, going into a new decade, I needed to remind myself why I used to live or die with the Buds, year in, and year out. I've stopped balling my eyes out, from the sheer beauty of this video, long enough to lightly critique it's production. I know it would take a bit more time, research, and organization, but to get the true emotion back we all experienced, i'm thinking showing the goals in chronological order through out the years would be much more effective. Ok, I'm sorry, .........gotta go.
That Mogilny shot before the Roberts goal was lethal kinda wish he scored that one
Ironically, it's the last one I remember the least.I was in the building to see the Cross and Roberts OT goals. Last row purple for the Cross goal, we had blown a 2 goal lead in the third and people were nervous. Roberts was triple OT, greatest game I've ever been witness to. Let's get some more memories this spring boys
Gotta love how the Leafs would always shutdown the sens in the playoff, classic.
10:58. Apart from the 1993 OT goals, I don't recall ever losing my mind over a Leafs goal like that night. The Leafs staggered into the playoffs in 2001 as one of the worst teams in hockey. They'd been dreadful over the last couple months of the season and it was almost unanimous that they would be easily dispatched by the Senators. But once Sundin ripped that shot off the post to win game one you just knew that the Sens would fold like a cheap suit.
Your cousin wanted to go to an Expos game rather than seeing an NHL playoff game? Not cool :(
dude the sens just totally trashed the leafs during the regular season. i thought Toronto had no chance and they ended up sweeping the floor with the sens jijijiji.
Dude Ottawa will forever be known as Toronto's playoff bitch
@mwoelfle
The Sens kept losing to the Leafs in the playoffs mostly because they had lousy goaltending, but those hard fought games also caught up with the Leafs in the later playoff rounds when they would run out of gas.
I remember game 4 with all the brooms and people cheering, "sweep! sweep! Sweep!" and, "Nana Nana EHHHHH GOODBYE!!!
the Penguins fan was wishing the leafs the beat of luck through the glass at 9:35, I'm sure of it.
After that OT goal by Glenn Anderson vs LA, it would be the closest to the Stanley Cup the Leafs would ever get..still to this day..
Goosebumps
Ah yes, when the leafs were able to win in overtime. The memories.
This aged well
this was nice too see here i liked the trip down memory lane here for the leafs it was awesome to see enjoyed at the time watching those games and sitting on the edge of my seat doing it garnder and sundin classic goals was truly sweet but i hope lets hope they break this god awful curse and get passed the first round when they make the playoffs this upcoming season that would be nice too see for Go leafs Go
Love the hustle by Clark to feed Foligno 🇨🇦
Gilmour was, according to Wayne Gretzky, the key to the Flames hockey Club in 1989. But Gilmour didn't stand out in Calgary because their lineup was that much better than Toronto's. Equal to him through leadership and offensive prowess were Joe Mullen and Joe Nieuwendyk - arguably the two best players he ever played with, if not A Macinnis and Mike Vernon. How Mike Vernon is not in the Hall of Fame is a mystery that defies the logic of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
The gardens was louder/better.
If I could I would like your reply a thousand more times.
Never got to see a game there. How nice it wouldve been to at least have it used by the Marlies.
Really a special place, like no other. You could feel the buzz of energy just approaching the entrance on College St. My brother and I would always talk about the ghosts and history you always seemed to feel when entering and walking through the halls. The personality and character just oozed throughout the place. It felt like home. It was home. Even the tv cameras loved the place and you could easily identify a game at Maple Leaf Gardens.
The generic, stale, overly corporate and overly expensive ACC/Scotiabank Centre with no personality, no character will never ever match The Gardens. Not even close.

Yes it would have been amazing to have the Gardens left intact and home to the Marlies. I've often thought the same thing. Too bad no one had the foresight to do that before. Would have been amazing and I would have gone to see games there all the time.
There was a roar when it was due..it was a beautiful time
I think Wade Redden is still picking his nose
lolololololol
Wade Spreadem
He was doing blow
I'd like to see a video of Leafs' OT playoff goals after 1967 through 1986. It would be short: Jim Harrison in '72, Blaine Stoughton in '75, and of course, Lanny McDonald in '78. I can't think of any others.
Rick Lanz against St. Louis in 1986. I think this is correct.
I dont watch for the Leafs goals. I watch for the Bob Cole calls !
Awesome! Now make one with all their OT goals between 2005-2012!
Got robbed in 1993 still sad
Spiderland Leafs Fan Hear ya. Kerry Fraser still gets harassed about the (non) call!
Robbed of losing to the Habs and not the Kings!!!
They had a full game at home to win vs the series and CHOKED.
Fuck Wayne Gretzky!
@cool beanz FUCK YOU!! Toronto never should’ve even made the third round. LA won fair and square.
and 1994, would have been all Canada series, like 1993 was supposed to be, Toronto-Montreal. Who was the better goalie,Potvin or Roy? Out of 50 people!
At no time since 1967 did a Toronto vs. Montreal final seem more possible than @3:33.
that was as close as they came... but the Leafs being the Leafs, they had to implode and lose the series
You're awesome! I was wondering if you happen to have intros to Molson Leaf Hockey on CTV & Sportsnet from 1999-2000?
This is the best.
KAPPENEN!!!
Already miss the commentary of these days
Hey there! I miss you, buddy! Do you happen to have intros to Molson Leaf Hockey from 1998-99 & 1999-2000 on TSN, Global, CFTO & Sportsnet?
Guess you can add Kapanen's to this list now!!
10:59....PING!!!
Tbh, in my opinion their old horn was good luck to em
I'm watching this video wondering why you stopped at 04. Then I realized why you did.
8:48 Those vulture screams you're hearing, are coming from this guy
Mike Filigno (from the first clip) son Nick now plays for the Leafs
Sadly he blew it. Marcus also blew it for the Wild.
Mats Sundin And The Toronto Maple Leafs Defeat The Philadelphia Flyers In The Playoffs Seven Six In Double Overtime
Mats Sundin And The Toronto Maple Leafs Defeat The Philadelphia Flyers In The Playoffs Seven Six In Double Overtime
I made a video of all the Leafs Series clinching goals from 2005 to 2020. ................
That was great right?
I think they forgot Berezin’s OT goal from game four
I think you need to add a few....
Why was Burns mad at Marouelli? Neale made it sound like it was because McLean went way out of net, but that's what caused the goal. It had to have been something else.
I wonder if he was mad at the team themselves for getting away with an "easy" win, maybe Burnsy didn't think they deserved it or something.
I wonder if Pat Burns was related to C. Montgomery Burns?
None of the goals meant jack because it didn't happen in any Stanley Cups
czcams.com/video/71e9MwDbaA4/video.html This is the part 2 of the Leafs-Blues 1996 game 2, Sundin's OT goal is in the end.
Classic leafs
Hey remember when the Leafs DIDN'T choke in the first round every year? Those were the days.
today, the Leafs have another chance to exorcise their first round demons. It's weird to understand the current core, they matchup better against teams of their level or better, and lose to worst teams at this time of the year
You're missing Kaberle in 2003 vs Philly
I know. I wrote in the description the goals I'm missing
+Randy Bush Also missing Sergei Berezin gm 4 1999 vs pitt
DamThatRiver85 Again I am well aware of this. The only video clip I could find of it is so pixelated it wasn't worth including. Read my description please.
BookemDeno Its no problem. Good video anyhow.
Sundin's OT goal versus STL in '96 is missing as well (he also mentions that, though). Thanks for the upload anyway :).

Damn Gretzky and the Kings in 1993. Besides Toronto shouldn’t have made the third round.
How is Cechmanek ever able to win a game let alone a series. He was truly awful.. He is like Dominik Hasek if you take away 98% of his skill. What in God's name was he doing on that Travis Green OT winner. Good lord.
8:29 offsides
Nah, he came in with possession
- The Leafs haven't scored a playoff OT goal in 13 years.... :-\
When the next one comes, I predict Mitch Marner makes it happen. He won't get the goal, but will do all the work and set up whoever scores it.
Kasperi Kapanen on a ludicrously awesome pass from Brian Boyle
No good highlights after 2004? I get it, no second round hockey since then. 😂
Why all the boneheaded ‘fans’ boo’d Larry Murphy so much is beyond me.👎🏾
Game 7 underway the Toronto maple leafs and the Montreal Canadians wait what jimmy what omg um never mind maple get blow in out by Gretzky because of a high stick ok
LOL on the first half of your comment, now I'm ticked off at the end!
The Leafs and hockey in general today is BORING and soft.
