This clip gives me chills. The amount of positive optimism that surrounded those Leafs teams I’m afraid I’ll never see again in my lifetime. It was a different era with players who cared about their performance on ice more than their public image (no Instagram back then). Pat Quinn was a stellar coach and GM too. You can tell the players loved being in his team

The 3 or 4 minutes leading up to this goal is the best 3 or 4 minutes of overtime I've ever watched.

One of the last real Leaf teams. This one and Pat Burns' team. The Leafs need to hire another Pat,another Irishman. These teams were a LOT CLOSER to the Cup than any group since. Talent AND grit,toughness. Great memories. I NEVER get tired of watching this.

It's 2023 now. Look Leaf fans, that's how you WISH Leafs would play today. With passion. That Leaf team didn't have superstars, but they had GRIT. They were so fun to watch.

Leafs were the Sens nemesis back then. The Sens had great teams but just couldn't get past the Leafs.
