There are a LOT OF "people" creating incidents here. But not as a group. But, they pick who to target. And which city areas. You can find a video of the famous actor *BOB SAGET ( full house ) stating that Norfolk VA was the MOST råçîst places that he's ever lived . There's reasons why all of the famous people from here never talk about "tidewater". { Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Pharell, Wanda Sykes, Jay Pharoah, etc..} EtC. .

You are absolutely right about Texas BBQ. It does not play! You just can't beat their brisket. I've never been to Buccees since I drive truck and trucks aren't allowed, but I'm looking forward to doing some vacation traveling and checking one out soon. Just FYI, Denny's and IHOPs are good places to sleep for a night. I recommend them as last resorts but since they're 24-hour restaurants, their lots are well-lit and basically safe. As always, trust your gut. ❤️

I grew up with Polish kolache in Chicago. That is not what they gave you. There were several types, yeast and no yeast, but all were smaller, delicate pastry, not "cakey". Not wasting the calories, good response.
Kolachke's are delicious. I've only had fruit filled ones. They are lite. Small town in MN makes the best, and even has a small summer festival after its namesake.

Depending on where in Nevada, Las Vegas gets really hot from May-Sept. Like 100-110 during the day...80 something at night. Utah is great all the time IMO.

I took a travel nurse position in Florence SC, just after they built Buckees. It had a little bit of everything. Their barbecue brisket sandwiches were the best!! I really enjoyed walking through it a couple times while my son and I were there. Have fun!

Va Beach native here. Next time go to Mary’s Kitchen on 17th Street and Va Beach Blvd they have parking also. You have come to Va Beach at the right time. It’s wall to wall people in the summer. Locals generally do not come to the oceanfront in the summer. But do venture to less touristy beach areas. Enjoy watching your adventures.

Buc-ees originated in Texas, and they brought their recipes to all of their locations. You had a strawberry cream cheese kolache, which is a Chezch pastry.
Funny Buc-ee's story: In TX, when you go on a road trip, stopping at Buc'ee's is a given. Trip tip: If you are NOT going to stop at a Buc-ee's (i.e. you are no fun), then get in the left lane because most cars are slowing down to get off the freeway. And, when you get on the other side of Buc-ee's, a line of cars are getting back on the freeway. On to the story. I used to listen to "2nd Date Update" where a couple goes on a date, seems to go well but then one of them ghosts the other. The "other" calls the radio station and has them call the ghoster and find out what happened. Well. They call the girl and asked her why she wouldn't respond to the guy's texts/messages and her response was legit - on their first date, he took her from Houston to Austin for a day trip and REFUSED to stop at Buc'ee's. Uh...what?!!! That'll do it!
BTW, thanks for not offering us a bite of that nasty looking breakfast. They did NOT know who they were serving. RUDE. And, I never get BBQ at Buc'ee's - it's just not as good as the real BBQ pits in the Hill Country.

One of the best bbq places I have been too in South Carolina is “Smokin Pig”, they only open a few days a week and their brisket, casserole, fried okra, etc. is poppin! They are in Anderson County, SC!
Today wasn’t a good food day but I guess you’ll have some of those in the travel but at least you enjoy the luxury stay with No knock and the beach walk

Huntyyy I lived in Texas for 19 years and I know what you mean about Texas brisket and I can already see Buckey's didnt give you enough sauce LOL. You are right about BBQ! One thing to keep in mind is that Bucee's is a Texas store. The BBQ I have had here in Texas Bucee's is good. When you get to Texas, the best is in Centerville off I45 called Woody's Smokehouse.

We live in New Braunfels tx close to San Antonio it’s a great place to visit for families ❤. We love our Buccees and our H‑E‑B don’t know if u been to a H‑E‑B but now they have a bbq restaurant inside of H-E-B they have some good brisket. You should visit South Africa one day. Our oceans, particularly in Durban and the KwaZulu Natal area are well known for surfing and the waves are much higher than these! Also Cape Town is also known by two other names, The Cape of Good Hope, but also....the Cape of Storms! 🇿🇦
I live in SC & we're known for southern style foods! Texas has it up on us when it comes to anything beef!! Also, everything tastes good until you taste something better so if the person has never tasted Texas brisket before.....right🤷🏽♀️

When you get to GA, if you have the time, Jekyll Island has a beautiful campground and gorgeous scenery along with a lot of history.
St Simons as well. Southern Soul BBQ is great. Pulled pork sando with mustard sauce with a side of Brunswick stew.

I love stopping at Buckey's and I only eat the tater tots and drink the caramel coffee lol. We have one here in Georgia. Huntyyy I lived in Texas for 19 years and I know what you mean about Texas brisket and I can already see Buckey's didnt give you enough sauce LOL. Also, I give the side eye to any state who tries to serve "mexican food" outside of Texas lol. I hope you stop here in Georgia for breakfast on your way down to FL. If you do, YOU HAVE GOT to go to Egg Harbor in Buckhead (Atlanta). Omg you will love it
You are right about BBQ! One thing to keep in mind is that Bucee's is a Texas store. The BBQ I have had here in Texas Bucee's is good. When you get to Texas, the best is in Centerville off I45 called Woody's Smokehouse.

We live in New Braunfels tx close to San Antonio it’s a great place to visit for families ❤. We love our Buccees and our H‑E‑B don’t know if u been to a H‑E‑B but now they have a bbq restaurant inside of H-E-B they have some good brisket. Can’t wait to

You should visit South Africa one day. Our oceans, particularly in Durban and the KwaZulu Natal area are well known for surfing and the waves are much higher than these! Also Cape Town is also known by two other names, The Cape of Good Hope, but also....the Cape of Storms! 🇿🇦

I live in SC & we're known for southern style foods! Texas has it up on us when it comes to anything beef!! Also, everything tastes good until you taste something better so if the person has never tasted Texas brisket before.....right🤷🏽♀️
