If you decide to visit resorts again next time, I suggest Animal Kingdom Lodge. The restaurants are AMAZING and you can watch animals. Get a drink, sit in a rocking chair on one of the large decks.....watch giraffes and zebras walking on by..... it's incredible. The resort is beautiful.
Third the food is amazing there but where she was staying it would have been a hike. She would have to catch a bus to Animal Kingdom then catch another bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge. It sounds simple but Disney is huge and tiring.
@@TammyWilly better off with a Lyft because Fort Wilderness is so spread out with an internal bus system she could be looking at an hour or more travel time. Not that I’m discouraging going to Animal Kingdom Lodge because it does have excellent food but sometimes being too tired makes the decision
I hope you progress to a point that your needs are better met. If your food is cold, request a reheat. If your burger is under cooked, request it cooked more. This is self- care and you are worth it….
Thank you for the mushroom and walnut taco suggestion. I made this although I chopped it pretty fine to resemble ground beef and to “hide” the mushrooms (my husband is not a fan of mushrooms🤣), cooked it on the stove with some olive oil and my favorite taco seasoning. It was sooooo good and my husband liked it as well. Thank you for your videos! You are such a bright light in this world!

I got divorced in 2007. I literally had to make myself start going to restaurants and bar & grills to eat and/or have a beer. I’ve found as I got older it got easier. I think your less worried what others think as you age.

I live 3 hours south of Disney World and I never get tired of seeing CZcamsrs' videos of it and their impressions. Fort Wilderness is awesome, I stay in the dog-friendly cabins there with my two furbabies. There is so much there for first-timers to see without going into the parks. Ride the Skyliner next time!
It’s so disappointing when you get a rubbish meal or things are cold 🥴 I would have thought it would be incredible, especially the waffles as it’s in the states @ Disney . I’m Scottish , come visit some ancient wilderness and sample fantastic food . LOVE your videos x

AAAHHH!! Wish you would have asked us about places to see and eat. USE the fam and your trip would have turned out even better. The best place to eat at the Contemporary, other than Chef Mickey's, for breakfast is Steakhouse 71 located on the 1st floor AND while a restaurant you can normally get a walk up table with no problem. Quick service meals are mostly frozen and not worth it. PB&J is best known for their Southern Fried Chicken and corn bread!! You missed out in some wonderful Southern cooking. The Burgers are frozen and steamed instead of grilled which is why their cooking is not consistent and come out underdone. Disney Springs is completely free to get into AND they have TONS of amazing restaurants and 90% of them also have quick walk up service. Those places are a million times better than Disney quick service. The polite pig is our absolute favorite!! Oh, PLEASE tell us you caught the electrical water pageant, the fireworks, the nightly campfire and movie!! At the free campfire program they have some great food trucks!!! ASK US NEXT TIME please!
Chilling out occasionally is good for you. It's the best time to regroup and clear your head. Thinking time is what I call it. You just don't do anything. Get a hammock that you can put between trees, get a book, a pillow and stretch out and go for it. Best feeling in the world. As always be safe and keep on keeping on.

You mentioned that you didn’t have food to cook because you didn’t grocery shop. I hope that you always have an emergency stash of non-perishable food and extra bottled water in case of a natural disaster or other emergency or situation where you can’t get to a store. Canned soups, beans, Spam, Mac and cheese, tuna…whatever you would like and eventually use. Love your channel!

Hey girl! Just went camping in the RV in NC. The place we stayed at had a laundry with a similar setup as you had there. Except it used a phone app to run the machine. What was nice about the app is that it told you at what stage your laundry was at. So, you could put your clothes in and go back to your camper and know when you needed to go back. I really liked that. The hamburger & MacCheese looked awesome. I was thinking you could use the hamburger for more than one meal and you did! It all looked great, though I'm not a spicy fan 🔥...maybe just a bit of a kick, though. 😊 I love the sound of rain, too. It always helps me to relax and want to take a nap. 😴 The campground does look great! I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself and had a few relaxing nights. God bless! Sue ♥
I hope you’ll go walk around the Grand Floridian, it’s lovely. And for better food, try Narcoossee overlooking the water. Also, DISNEY SPRINGS has a lot of restaurants and shopping. The boathouse is fun for seafood.
I don't drink while I eat either. Unless I'm snacking on popcorn or something I'm just not thirsty while I'm eating. It's not intentional, I just don't do it. When you thought you were going to be on the train by yourself and someone walked on, that cracked me up so much 😂😂😂 It seems so mean but I get annoyed like that when I think I'm going to be alone somewhere and people come, and they aren't even doing anything wrong 😂

Hi Nomie - I LOVE watching you eat - especially when the food is good. I will never make it to Disney World so it’s fun to see you visit there and show us the surroundings plus campground. When I visited my late brother in Glendale years ago I had a choice between visiting Disneyland or the Universal Studios tour - so chose the latter and wasn’t disappointed. It was when the first Jaws movie came out - so there was a lot going on about it. I’ve heard others say how much they enjoyed their trips to Disney World. Gotta scoot! Always look forward to your videos as they are a day brightener - even when it’s raining or snowing where you are. Cheers from 🇨🇦
Sadly, at WDW you need a reservation for everything! Each park requires a reservation for the day or you don't get in, regardless of having paid an entrance fee (the exception would be for AP holders after 2pm). Restaurants do require a reservation, unless you use counter service. Hopefully, should you visit again, you'll have done your homework so you can have a better time! And yes, Ft. Wilderness is huge! They offer rentals of golf carts to get around for just that reason. Also, and FYI for something to try at EPCOT, in the UK pavilion, try the Fish & Chips... you won't be worry!

Would you consider having a small pet to travel with you in the future? 🐾🐾. I am also intrigued by women solo truck drivers and watch a few vlogs. Some have small dogs. When you get to California, you might enjoy Disneyland. Its Magic Kingdom actually has more Disney "atmosphere" than the one at Disney World. I mentioned that to another traveler when I was at Disney World, and he felt the same way. Disneyland of course also has the iconic Matterhorn ride that Disney World does not. It also has the California Adventure park, and you can get a pass to go between the parks. There is also a section outside the parks to walk through that has many restaurants. So even if you didn't care for the Magic Kingdom at Disney World, you might like Disneyland better. As for drinking liquids with your meals, I read that doing so dilutes digestive enzymes and can impede digestion. So it's good that you don't drink with your meals. Anyway, loved your footage of the Wilderness park. It was relaxing just to watch it, and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. Loved hearing that pounding rain too. What a lovely place to be tucked in for the night, with the rain outside.

It’s so funny when you talk about humidity and how the “humidity “ talks back to you. Also so glad you enjoyed yr lunch a little better than breakfast. When you stood by the menu and pics of the breakfast place I already knew it was going to be subpar. Girl, I could’ve made a delicious breakfast for you for half of $14. I’m sorry the food was lacking. The waffle looked cold whn you applied the butter.
When I saw that breakfast, I thought to myself "Nomi is not gonna like that." Looks like I was right. I'm glad your other dining experiences were better than that one.
It’s always helpful when going to a place like Disney, to follow Disney CZcamsrs for places to stay, visit and eat….saves you alot of time, money and disappointment. When you stay there again…rent a golf cart to get around…they’re lots of fun!

It was when the first Jaws movie came out - so there was a lot going on about it. I’ve heard others say how much they enjoyed their trips to Disney World. Gotta scoot! Sadly, at WDW you need a reservation for everything! Each park requires a reservation for the day or you don't get in, regardless of having paid an entrance fee (the exception would be for AP holders after 2pm). Restaurants do require a reservation, unless you use counter service. Hopefully, should you visit again, you'll have done your homework so you can have a better time! And yes, Ft. Wilderness is huge! They offer rentals of golf carts to get around for just that reason. Also, and FYI for something to try at EPCOT, in the UK pavilion, try the Fish & Chips... you won't be worry!

The slow pace is a nice rest. Enjoy. The barb q places along the roadside, the little joints are sooo good. Take a chance.
When you get to California, you might enjoy Disneyland. Its Magic Kingdom actually has more Disney "atmosphere" than the one at Disney World. I mentioned that to another traveler when I was at Disney World, and he felt the same way. Disneyland of course also has the iconic Matterhorn ride that Disney World does not. It also has the California Adventure park, and you can get a pass to go between the parks. There is also a section outside the parks to walk through that has many restaurants. So even if you didn't care for the Magic Kingdom at Disney World, you might like Disneyland better.
As for drinking liquids with your meals, I read that doing so dilutes digestive enzymes and can impede digestion. So it's good that you don't drink with your meals.
Anyway, loved your footage of the Wilderness park. It was relaxing just to watch it, and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. Loved hearing that pounding rain too. What a lovely place to be tucked in for the night, with the rain outside.

It’s so funny when you talk about humidity and how the “humidity “ talks back to you. Also so glad you enjoyed yr lunch a little better than breakfast. When you stood by the menu and pics of the breakfast place I already knew it was going to be subpar. Girl, I could’ve made a delicious breakfast for you for half of $14. I’m sorry the food was lacking. The waffle looked cold whn you applied the butter.
