    Sneako meets his oldest fans

  • @BrigitteEmpire

As much as I empathise with kids getting radicalised by Sneako, Tate, etc., I can’t help but fear for the queer kids in their school and having to share a space with people who are so open about hating them

  • @Estradiol_Gaming

I hate the "they're just kids" excuse. So are the queer kids they're bullying. These kids will "grow and change" while queer kids will have to deal with the trauma of living in a world hostile to them their entire lives

  • @-chloe-8728

my heart shatters for the little girls those boys go to school with. they’re going to hear some of the most vile, sexist stuff at such a young age from their classmates. i can’t imagine how dehumanizing and scary it must be for them.

  • @schboove2668

This is the first time I’ve ever heard of Sneako. At least it’s from Ro.

  • @adrianoctavio

He was probably more surprised that the kids forgot they were supposed to dogwhistle.

  • @deer0skullz

The kids definitely look like they were trying to impress him. It’s sad that this is who they’ve picked up as a role model.

  • @mikedrop4421

Actually Sneako is 180° removed from his original form. He was actually a critical thinker in the beginning of his quest for social media relevance and produced thoughtful and mostly open minded videos where he was questioning real societal ills but he got very little traction. After struggling to break out for years he came across the exploding man-o-sphere and saw the potential and started to adopt those talking points. As he started to blow up he got stuck in a loop which required him to say and believe worse and worse stuff in exchange for more and more clicks. It's crazy, look it up.

Approaching this from the perspective of a trans person who has operated in the public school system in a post-Andrew Tate world (fs in the chat), I feel terrible for these kids, and I feel so much worse for the girls and queer kids who have to pay the price for this behavior. As much as these kids are too young to have been subjected to such harmful content, the people around them who have to overhear these things about themselves are too young to feel that sense of fear.

  • @possumpaints6852

I have a 12 year old cousin that im very close with and I worry all the time that when he gets online he's gonna fall down this pipeline. the thing is, 12 year olds don't wanna listen to

  • @casadastraphobia

You know the worst part about this? Sneako's "I was the same way when I was their age." Is like quantifiably wrong. He's only a bit older than me and I've been on CZcams since I was way too young to be on CZcams so I know from experience how wrong he is. Sneako had a CZcams channel around their age. I SAW IT. He was definitely edgy, but more than that he was fairly eloquent and knowledgeable and thought provoking for his age. I remember a few years back, way before what he does now, he did an interview with a nonbinary CZcamsr where they talked about gender and sexuality and he wasn't fucking bell hooks but he approached the conversation with respect and was willing to learn. This new Sneako is definitely fucking disgusting, but worse it's disappointing.

  • @chrislawuk

If I were feeling uncharitable (and I always am), I’d point out the interesting irony of someone who likes to shout “groomer” at everyone pushing an agenda on his very young, exclusively male, fanbase that involves them performatively hating anyone who is not a cis man, while panting like puppies for his approval…

  • @manderly33

“They were kidding and also it’s ‘YOUR’ fault.”

  • @halethaden

hes crazy for saying its the rainbow emoji's fault that the kids are transphobic lol

  • @duotone3204

Sneako is truly the cocomelon of mens rights activists

  • @taeilsupremacist1386

as a black queer person i resent the way that folks-most commonly those who identify as liberal-always hyperfocus on giving ppl that perpetuate violence endless grace to the point that they forget to have equal amounts of empathy for the victims of that violence. i see that in this video; your acknowledgment of the fact that the childrens' blind regurgitation of sneako's rhetoric has real-life repercussions was only a footnote. it has big "everybody was edgy when they were 14, give them a break!" vibes and then the edginess in question was racism 😭 while that edgy 14 year old may grow out of their racism, their peers that had to deal with the fact that little johnny was an avid idubbbz watcher carry that trauma and then are told by society that they have to forgive the person that hurt them or even feel bad for them... it leaves you feeling very gaslit. the children in that sneako video WERE terrible for being misogynistic/homophobic/transphobic and they are also victims, those things are not mutually exclusive.

At Christmas last year my seven year old cousin called me a dirty illegal when I tagged him during our game of freeze tag. Stuff like this is scary. I don’t see him outside of Christmas, otherwise I’d try to help him. I sat him down and explained to him why that was wrong, and he told me it’s what his grandpa and the tv say. So scary… even scarier that our entire family consists of immigrants….

  • @TinyGhosty

At some point the parents are at fault too. Kids can still "rebel" by being "edgy" from caring parents that try to teach them respect and kindness, but that is not the majority of what is happening. There is a level of emotional neglect that allows this behavior to become a problem, that and many parents are likely reinforcing the bigotry. My brother grew up to be a raging misogynist because my parents never corrected him or talked to him about the sexist things he said and always chalked it up to "he is just joking." They look back on that now and regret it, because now it is negatively affecting his life and they finally understand that it also affected my life as well.

  • @jessclark9725

I was literally almost murdered by kids like this when I was in school. They can have empathy once their views have changed, until then they are the same kids who stomped my head until I was hospitalized. I’m disappointed in the dismissal of how deeply vile these children are, and disappointed that you will give a pass to monsters because of how they became monsters without first demanding that they stop being monsters.

i honestly feel a serious level of sympathy for these kids - i nearly fell victim to this same pipeline when i was their age thanks to carlgon benjamin and it took a lot of work to pull myself out. i just hope these kids manage to get out of reactionary ideology.
