This I find interesting - I originally thought about the Suduko concept starting off with basic triads, 4 note voicings + any combination inc extensions etc etc etc. Then I started applying the same concepts but focusing purely on rh string crossings inc 16th/triplet rhythms ete etc. Then I'll hold the lh index finger on the E string & apply the same concepts with the remaining 3 lh fingers across the A,D & G strings. Repeat holding lh index on A string, repeat D string, repeat G string. Then start over holding middle lh finger down on E string, same process, next hold lh ring finger on E string & finally hold lh pinky on E string. And it goes on & on & on!!!
John Pattituchis instructional video contains the basic ideas as the fundamental abilities required to execute clean bass lines... Oh yeah, then he starts talking about actually playing the bass!!!
I left you a comment long ago very briefly outlining the above though there was no response so it's good to hear yourself on this topic. There's so much music contained in these ideas. Remembering the Suduko concept, logic & maths makes it easier to get it all down. 👍😊
