    Damn. That was really helpful! Lots of people on YT talk about improvising but always seem to fail to discuss actually USING the materials they’re throwing at you. You nailed this, Anthony, and I appreciate that!

    This is so fantastic. I think you'd really like a tune by Miles Okazaki called "Kudzu." The head is basically these interweaving enclosures that delays the resolution of the chord tones of a blues in a super futuristic sounding way. Same concept! Thank you for this video!!

    GREAT stuff but how long did it take you to really get it in your fingers ?

      Honestly, it took me an entire gig to get it down because I was taught this idea during soundcheck 😬 I kept hammering at it during all my solos, until it came together. Naturally, after that night, I went home and hit the shed
