Fun Fact: the placeholder graphic for wonder seeds is actually a gem apple from the Kirby Clash Series. This includes Team Kirby Clash, a sub game to Planet Robobot, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, this being the sub-game turned into a full fledge one, and Super Kirby Clash, a remake of the original game for the Switch.

I’m now imagining a universe where Mario Wonder used more of the older designs BESIDES Yoshi.
A more reddish haired Peach would’ve been cool as all hell
redhead peach would have been really cool to see but i think it would have messed with daisy being playable
I’m pretty sure she was never a readhead in any official artwork besides the Super Show.
@@newsuperbowserworld and the rest of the mario animated shows, but there is the SMB2 boxart which has a sort of orange going on. there is also her sprites in SMB 1-3
@@davidthecommenter her smb1-3 sprites don’t have blonde hair because the palettes couldn’t have 5 colors. The box arts for each game show her with blonde hair.
If you listen real close to the flower wonder effect in the released version, the beta wonder sound effect is still there just a lot quieter at the end

I mean the beta of mario wonder has better model in my opinion, theres always somethint cooler in the betas that never come to the final, like frontiers amazing visuals and the true kronos island

Riley, it's not really "lost" if they have the prototype and are showing it off. The better way to say it is "Mario Wonder prototype you can't play", but views matter.

I think Mario’s design in the final game is a great mix between the modern design and the old one! I’m not too bummed that they didn’t stick with the beta model

Yoshi DOES use his older design. So they probably created the Yoshi model sometime when the early Mario model existed.

A NEW SONIC MAINLINE GAME HAS BEEN TREADMARK !!!( source by Midori). I can tell more information about the game but I can tell it's a spinoff about the one of the beloved characters in sonic the hedgehog 🦔 but I can tell about where it will be announced at summer game fest 2024 !!! BUT I CAN IMPLY ABOUT THE CHARACTER ( 🥈➕🦔) and I forget to tell the game will be made in unreal engine 5 it will be a action adventure game and open world ( puzzle - platformer) and the game is in development !!!

Nah I’m pretty sure it’s post to be the wonder affect with the Nickelodeon slime, because they both titlt, and wouldn’t there be a spike ball there, or just a ball, I feel like that’s a defining feature of it 3:47

64 era Mario is actually based on Yoichi Kotabe Mario in fact! But it was based on the Post 1992 iteration and was jank, whilst wonder beta is based on pre-92'
Maybe the 8 bit wonder was cut because characters like Peach would need totally different head shapes, making most characters play different?

A beta is just that, a beta. Nothing was lost, nothing went unused, because that's how development works.

The wonder voice is in the game but it is very silent
Mario’s design although cool has kinda become generic, seeing he’s older more cartoonier design buying considered gives me enough hope that we might see that old design back.
If they're gonna make wonder 2 in a similar fashion as galaxy 2, I hope they revisit the earlier art direction

I don't remember where i read it, but i think the giant 8bit mario head got removed because instead of offering an interesting challenge the player would just rush to the end to avoid being eaten by those enemies.
Also, i don't agree that one of the wonder effects should be turning the game into 8 bit or 16 bit, we already got that with mario maker and i completely done with the nostalgia pandering

I know you had no ill intent, but calling it "just standard white text and straight lines" is kind of an insult towards the amount of work that is put into the experience of easier navigation for a video game.
Since you're a Sonic fan, it's the difference between base Sonic Mania and Sonic Mania on mobile's UI
