Ray's car breaker yard was in Pheonix street.
I worked on his extension.
Down his place.
He has the biggest carp pool in a garden I've ever seen.

Hi Phil. I was born in Swan Village, 12 John Street in 1969. Great memories. We moved when I was about 10 years old. I'm 54 now. My older brothers went to George Salter high school, I went to Hilltop. John Street is just off Phoenix Street.

Our Mom used to work at the Swan pub. Joyce was the land lady.

There ought to have been someway to have preserved the Swan instead of bulldozing it and replacing it with a petrol station. Joyce Partridge was indeed the landlady from 1968-1985. Mr Singh took over and was the final licensee. Great memories, many thanks

I lived in phoenix street next door to the waste land I’ve the road from the bird in hand it it went to a pizza shop. Chapter house on the corner. My mum work at Robinson brothers. I miss my old stomping ground
