- Fly to a country for less than the national football shirt
Is it coming home?
#EURO2024withShorts
In this video we decided to visit Copenhagen Denmark, ahead of the England vs Denmark in the Euros 2024.
To make things harder we bought a junior England kit this time from sports direct and JD sports which costs £65.
This is ahead of the Euros 2024 hosted in Germany. A great country for international football. Its not quite the world cup but it's the start of the group stages of the tournament for England. With Rashford and Grealish out of the squad.
We went to Sports Direct in the Arndale Manchester and found a England Euros football shirt on sale for £85.
This gave us the idea that we could fly from england (UK) to Germany, eat a Sausage and Bratwurst and watch the Euros for less than this price.
we flew Ryanair from Manchester airport to Copenhagen Denmark a great city with great cuisine and food. Especially their hot dogs.
We then had more than enough money spare to buy a Danish Hot Dog from a food truck and a starbucks from the airport.

Uber more expensive than a flight….✈️
Junior shirt for 65£ is mad
I know 😞
@@LiveTheDashIt was an extra £30 for a player on the back but I still got it.
@@LiveTheDash YOU SAID HESH?! CMON YOU COULD HAVE USED GOOGLE TRANSLATE TO FOGURE OUT HOW TO PRONOUNCE IT
You butchered Hej as you did that hotdog with mayonnaise
Exactly brother!
Hezh🙋♂️
We need to tell them that it's pronounced "Hi", in fact, they got that word from us.
“Haijjj” 🙋♂️
Alt andet end fransk dressing er en forbrydelse 😂
Jeg er fra Danmark alle dem der er fra Danmark like den her kommentar😅❤❤❤🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Jeg elska Denmark ❤❤😊😊
Jag är från Sverige 🇸🇪
Hejj
Hejjj
Hvad så
Im perturbed that a coffee is £5.50 than £65 for the shirt 😂😂
😂😂😂
The national dish of Denmark, is Stegt Flæsk med Persillesovs.
Yeah it my favorite fucking dish
@@mariusbrugmann3372same
Ja bror
De under rater Danmark
Ja sikkert eller ikke bøf 😂😂
27£ for an international flight is insane.
God bless RYANAIR 🙏
very short flight though
Going to Berlin from East midlands on match day for 12.99. 29/06
@@alfredoalejandro87 its 600 Miles and 1,5 hours.
@@magnuskongskov3532That is a short flight.
How is an Uber to the airport more expensive than the flight itslef 😭
as a danish guy it’s not pronounced hej it’s just hi with a short i
edit: that isn’t the national dish the national dish is called Stegt flæsk which is
crispy pork with parsley sauce and potatoes
I had a feeling I may be corrected on this 😂
@@LiveTheDash😂😂
I'm not Danish myself, but from going there on a scout jamboree, even I knew that
@@joshuawicks6534 it isn’t so hard is it…
And while the French hotdog shown in the video was a Danish idea (at least to mass produce), that's not a classic Danish hotdog.
After the three group games, I can confidently say, It's NOT coming home 😅
WATCH THIS SPACE! 🦁 🦁 🥶
Like if You coming from Danmark👇🇩🇰🇩🇰
@@LiveTheDash still watching 😩
So £34 Uber + £5.5 coffee + £27 flights +£4.5 hot dog is more than £65. Itd be great if people could do basic maths...
They split the Uber cost per person
They are both idiots who can't get facts right.
@@azursmile It still doesn't work out.
@@azursmilenot how an Uber works. It's the same regardless how many people
@@yoda8588Uber has a split the cost option. It's only 17 each.
Uber to the airport was cheaper then flight XD
Dearer you mean haha
it is not a national dish in Denmark, it is something called fried pork with parsley sauce
THE HEJ HAD ME DEAD 😂
That ain’t an original danish hot dok, it’s a Frasnk one
Du retarderet
To be fair noone knows the exact origins of the "french hotdog" but it has been narrowed down to either Denmark or Germany.
@@vrenak No, the Danish hotdog is a long hot dog in a bun, pickle chips, remoulade, ketchup, mustard, and fried onions or fresh chopped onions.
The "French Hotdog" as Danes know it is actually from Czechia, although it became popular in Belgium and the Netherlands before arriving in Denmark by that name.
@@Thor.Jorgensen You're replying to the wrong person.
@@vrenak No I'm not. Read it again.
You claimed that the "French hotdog" is from either Denmark or Germany. But it is from Czechia originally, and a revision of it is from the Benelux region.
That's not a hotdog - that's a french hotdog 😅 you need to go again 😂
"this is gonna be tighter tham gareth southgate's waist coat" was pretty funny 😂😂😂😂😂
Manchester Airport must see these people and think jeez there back again
Pronunciation of HEJ!! Lol😂😂😂😂
Having seen how expensive Denmark is, I'm surprised you managed it. Tillykke!
The national dish isnt hot dog it is stækt flæsk og Persillesovs
At least kids/junior size fits you. Saves money 😂
Never heard a Danish person say hej like that
YOU DID NOT JUST PUT MAYONNAISE ON OUR HOTDOG😭
THATS LIKE BREAKING SPAGHETTI INFRONT OF AN ITALIAN
I almost went in cardiac arrest when you said you put mayonnaise in the hotdog, and that is not a traditional Danish hotdog. That is what we call a "French hotdog"
I LOVE YOU GUYS YOUR SO FUNNY AND REALISTIC AND ITS WAS REALLG FUÑY HOW HE SAID ARE SECOND HOME (Manchester airport)
I could have done it cheaper . Metrolink charge £4.60 to the airport.
Where should we try next?
Serbia
Italy
Tajikistan
Poland
Italy
How did you get to Copenhagen from the airport?
Metro 10min i tink
Hesh back at you😂
You should Watch it at islands brygge
5.50£ for a Coffee? WTF! That's more expensive as in Switzerland!
Mayo on a danish hotdog is criminal
As an American, flying anywhere for 27£ is crazy. Flights that long domestically here will be at least $100 each way. And that would be a bargain!
Our national dish isn't a hot dog our national dish is stægt flæsk med persillesovs 😅
I really miss the hotdog stands in Roskilde
A) you should totally try the French hot dog with remolade
B) The Danish national dish is Flæskesteg and is a really delightful thing to try
You know that’s called a French hot dog? National dish 😅 right..excellent research folks
that "Heyyjh" was so funny omg "hej" is so close to a normal "hi" in english so just say that
Hello in danish is just pronounced like a normal “hey!”
Hej is hello in polish aswelll😮😮😮😮😮
That's definitely not how we say Hej
A hotdog in føtex( supermarket chain) is about 2 euro
It's what we call a French Hotdog. NOT a proper Danish hotdogs.
That hotdog💀
Bro, really went on RyanAir
They don't pronounce hello like that, the J is silent and it's sounds like Hi, but much shorter at the end, you can also use it to say goodbye, but still props for trying!
Well, it is not a hotdog. It is a hapsdog ❤
In the lake I was yesterday
As a Dane, I can tell you all that our national dish is not a hot dog.
Mayonaise?!? HELL NAW💀
mayonnaise!?!?!?!!!
WHY!?
Like, I get it, it probably taste okay, but try it with ketchup or french dressing (fransk dressing) o.o
but yeah.. flying is pretty cheap depending on where you wanna go and when you book your flight ( at least when you're going from Denmark to england)
How did you get from Copenhagen airport to the city centre?
Train
That wasn't a traditional danish hot dog - it's what you would translate into a French hot dog. And our national dish is fried pork with potatoes and parsly sauce (stegt flæsk med persillesovs). Hope you had a great stay 👍
Juni without you is still juni. But life without you isn't life😘
The way the uber is more them the flight 😭😭
No danish would ever eat it with mayonnaise 😂
Ramulade, ketchup or French hotdog dressing.
Often mixed
You know how they say hello in danish? Hedge.
Hej! Do we use in Sweden. Maybe everyone already knows because of ikea.
Try remoulade on your next hot dog
Dane here! Bro ya guys have all the good players on ya football team and it ended up 1-1. lol
Yea but you have the better coach
You have the same carbon footprint as Taylor Swift.. 😂
It's crazy how a flight to Denmark costs less than taking the train from Birmingham to Edinburgh
Feel bad for you England did...
Watched while eating mayonnaise hotdog
Imagining going to Denmark, to get a french hotdog. Fail
That is not the original or typical Danish hotdog, but is known as a "French" hotdog, though invented in Denmark I believe back in the 70's
Is it really coming home like all the otjer years😂
I was there yesterday 🗿🗿
That is not how you pronounce “hej”
Why did they take an Uber to begin with?
@@elimansoor2246 because walking would take too long. Although I’m sure Russ cook would disagree.
People who live in Denmark know that you dont put mayonnaise in a hot dog i love in Denmark 🇩🇰🇩🇰
The hot dog is called an french hotdog in denmark
Where did they fly to.
Hot dog is not national food its stegt flæsk med persillesovs 😂😂😂😂😂
Zoro got my soword on my avatar
In sweden and norway they also say hej
Mayonnaise on a hotdog should be a crime, ketchup, curry or mustard are all better options
Tak for at gør til denmark
Thank you for going to denmark
"It's coming home!" Who's gonna tell her
Why do they spend £34 on an uber?! I thought the bee network is here now
We call that a french hot dog actually
With England's current performance the only thing that's coming home is the England Squad
Or you can change it to:’ we chose a junior shirt because it fits me right.’
😂😂😂 fair
Fair enough.
@@LiveTheDash wow I didn’t think you guys would respond. It might seem as a hate comment, but I love the channel
@@NoahZenginer not at all, this really tickled me 😂😂
@@LiveTheDash luckily you guys get it 😂
Your people, exxon is so cute 😂😂😂
£65 wow thats expensive i thought it would max 30 quid
as a danish guy it’s not pronounced hej it’s just hi with a short i
edit: that isn’t the national dish the national dish is called Stegt flæsk which is
crispy pork with parsley sauce and potatoes. well done @penguincookie and what are you talking about its coming home its never coming home
Surprised you actually went to Denmark
I live in DENMARK 🎉😂😂😂VERY good land NOT joking
Wrexham junior shirts are £28
Yooo denmark got mentioned🇩🇰🇩🇰
I’m in denmark from australia rn and I never see stuff about it I only do cus of euros
How much was the return flight? And the hotel? How did you get from the Airport to the city centre in Copenhague? How much did it cost to see the match? Where did you eat and dine, and how much did that cost too?
Oh, and absolutely impossible that you got a flight of two at £27 for the NEXT MORNING, specially considering that you didn't even get the cheapest fare, shoutout to the 10kg luggage.
In other words, only the flight was at least 250 pounds, 500 round trip. The source being the very own Ryanair website, just looked at the fares for tomorrow.
Cheers from Spain.
NAHH THATS ONE CHEAP FLIGHT BROO
The J in danish (and Swedish and German) is pronounced as a Y. So you actually just need to say “hey”.
That’s not how u say hello in danish 😭
Can we talk about her having MAYONAISE in her hotdog?????
Thats weird af! In Denmark we put French hotdog dressing in it! (Most of us do)
Why do I feel kinda offended as a Dane cuz that hot dog is not national dish its stegt flæsk med persillesovs and they way he said hej😂
I am in Denmark right now, even though I'm not from denmark I'm from India.
As a dane I’m sorry to break it to you, but it’s never coming home.
