My $50 dirt devil works perfectly vs the priced way too damn high dyson my brother bought me. The Dyson crapped out after two uses. Two uses and it's not working.
You do realize the quality of the brush and how it treats your carpeting factors into this as well. I've been cleaning my whole life and I'm telling you the shark while okay it's not great. Not promoting Dyson I'm just saying that it's a shame years ago a good vacuum with good suction was less than half that price and it's sickening what's goes on anymore
I got shark with two batteries. But little disappointing that battery capacity 2300mah. Should realy be 3000-4000mah. Also in auto mode it last about 40min or so and takes 3.5 hours to recharge full. It faulsly advertises 60min runtime with eco mode but eco mode is half as slow/suction too. Overall shark device definitely good and good price but little disappointing with battery capacity. They definatly need bigger battery capacity and add fast charge too.
@@vacuumnerds yeah Dyson isn't the best but is up there, the problem with Shark is that while they have decent cleaning performance, they aren't built to last and often there are flaws in their designs. An example of a flaw is with their DuoClean rollers being nothing more than a dusting roller brush and having no suction going to them which causes hair and debris to get stuck behind the roller. They also don't mention the location of their post-motor filters hoping you'll forget about it and cause the motor to burn out due to an unclean and clogged filter.
I got the Shark Stratos with 2 batteries and a five year warranty for just over 300. Clean sense works brilliantly to keep battery going and pick up everything from peanuts to talc. It is a little heavier but better built than the Dyson. Anti hair wrap plus really works eliminating that painful chore and you don’t have to change heads going from hard floors to carpet. Easy to empty and easy to clean before and after motor filters. Storage is great, takes up no space and does not need to be near a power outlet. All in all a great buy, even something goes, with a 5 year warranty it really is a no brainer.
@@jasonwaller6778 Shark isn't the wort of the worst but they're certainly not great by any means. I've had a Dyson dc33 for about 8 years now, it's got the same suction as when it was brand new and the only maintenance I've had to do is clean the brush-bar and clean the filter.
8 years is a good result, we have corded Miele’s to do the heavy lifting and they last and last, 11 mouths to feed at home with all their detritus but I love whizzing around with this cordless, if it lasts 5 years I’ll be very happy.

Oh no!

Prices have gone up for sure. Appreciate the comment!
I have used both. In my opinion Dyson is horrible not worth the money at all. Shark is amazing.
@@kelleym7623boty brands are mid anyways,

Wonder which will last the longest
Both still running...

Shark is total crap. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS. Dyson is a more top end vacuum but they have the best vacuum performance for bagless units.
At 2-3x the price usually
