they were innovative but useless, tell me one use of this lg wing other than flexing it in front of your friends, samsung z flip and fold is still useable because when you unfold it you get a larger tablet like display

Fr tho. Lg has been the most innovative company in the smartphone industry. They were the first to put 1440p displays, ultra wide cameras, Lazer autofocus, Dolby vision support, colour spectrum sensors and such. It's sad to see LG leave :(
I had the G2, was a beast back in the day. Can even be upgraded do android 11 with really good performance, but I'd not recommend that as battery suffers alot, stock rom is great tho, all i did was unlock 4K recorging and 120fps 😂

This was lg's final phone before they made that decision. Prior to that decision, they were planning on releasing a rollable phone too.
A lot of people didn't know about this phone because it DID NOT sell well at all. Plus it was too niche of a concept to gather mainstream attention. Hell, the Razr and the Flip hadn't even blown up yet.
I miss companies making cool out of the box phones, starting to think that flexible screens are going to be the last try to make something out of the box

my dad got an lg 2 years ago. the battery lasts like 3 hours now but the phone works perfectly fine

@@bl4z3w3b I don't think it's very fair to blame lg for the battery, those typically go bad because people treat them poorly, like leaving them on the charger all night every night instead of to 80-90%, yes they should offer limits to optimize battery life, but still there is some personal responsibility there.
@@vgamesx1 still, we do that to samsung and iphone batteries also, my s7 is 5 years old and the batter only last 1 hours but not bad for the age
Im watching this from a lg g6 😂. I got it one month after release and its still my phone and is working fine .
Watching this on my LG G8 and im sad they left the market, one of the most innovative company with top quality product but exactly that versatility in innovation became the main reason for their failure, they switched things up every year, implemented new things and just didnt have any signature products and all these are not appealing for masses, since most of the people are just casual users. this is why LG couldnt find a stable spot on market
I wonder if their older phones that had hardware failures like the Nexus turned some people away from them
@@zzoinks thats not enough to lose significant amount of buyers, the main reason of failure was those things I described. Also ive used several old LG phones and none of them had any meaningful issues

Ironically, I think if they would have marketted the air hand controls less, they would have gotten more sales.

@@jerkycam No, they shouldnt have implemented it in the first place (but they did, as i said they try out new things almost every year which just means they dont have a stable lineup of features), it doesnt work properly and is basically useless, but even if it did work as intended, it still wouldnt be a big deal anyway
@@META313.Not true, and I've used several LG phones. G3 had severe battery drains due to the screen. G4, obviously, the infamous boot loop. G5 had QC issues with the removal modems. G6 had overheating and performance issues. The best experience I got was from LG was their G Pro 1, but my personal favorite was the LG G2.
my dad actually has one and i can say, its pretty worth it if you buy the secondhand one, consider the feature and specs it offers

I saw one in my dad’s store and I wanted it, I loved the camera and really liked the usability of the bottom part while watching videos

As someone who is typing this on a LG Wing I love my phone!! I can easily watch a video and do something else on the second screen, it also saves the app you were using on the second screen so if you close the second screen and then 10 mins later open the second screen it brings you back to where you left off!
I also enjoy not having a notch or pin hole, I do not take selfies often so having the camera not take up space when I do not need it is awesome

I just bought one of these. I've bought an LG phone every year since the launch of the V30. So this can't be blamed on me lol
I remember my LG g6. It was solid! Ultra wide angle camera and water resistance. Also flat IPS screen was so cheap so its replacement wasn't so painful. :P

I was ganna get the lg wing, but decided not to cuz they ganna stop updating in a few years and i keep my phones until they physically stop working (kept my oneplus 2 up till last year), so not haveing any updates was kinda not good. Rip lg phones, they really did make some interesting and influential phones

I think one of the major things that killed LG was years of boot-looping phones. You'd think they'd fix the issues but a lot of their Android phones had that issue. A shame because their phones were great

I own an LG Wing which im using right now as my daily driver. To say its useless is just trying to dismiss something that you domt understand. My LG wing can record front and back with a pop-up camera at the same time, has a gimbal and makes multitasking a breeze with two awesome touchscreens. It can do everything that a typical 5g flagship can do and So much more!!
