I love how resourceful this video is.. you didn’t go and buy a piping bag instead you used what you had a sandwich bag and got the same exact result I love this because we all have sandwich bags in our pantry! You also cleaned your berries with water instead of veggie wash… we all have water.. you also used toothpicks… etc… THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for this affordable video because all the items you used minus the strawberries and wafers are all items we have in our everyday lives in our kitchen or pantry
Thank you for watching! I wanted to show just what you described. This can be done well with things you probably already have at home. ❤️
This is awesome! I’m going to try :)

Love your tips. Can I use bakers chocolate or the nestle chocolate chips?
What’s the ratio of oil to chocolate. I plan on making 2 dozen. Also can I use coconut oil. Thank you.
Hello and thanks for watching. You can use bakers chocolate or really any of your favorite chocolate. I don’t always measure so I’m not sure. I know I use about a cap full of oil for half a 16 ounce bag of chocolate. Hope this helps!!
Where did you buy your white chocolate from ?
i have a Q its okey to put the strewberry in hot chocolet or i wait it to be cold ?
Those look so good! It is such a shame that the season is over though
I love fresh berries so much I wish they were delish year round. Same with watermelon. When they’re out of season I buy them frozen and put them in smoothies. There’s always next year for fresh ones!
@@thecraftinistalife Oh watermelons are a sore point indeed. The frozen ones (strawberries or others) are just not cutting it for me :P
What kind of chocolate do you dip strawberries in?
Thanks I told my grandma for my class
When you are getting ready to dry the strawberries, can you put them in the refrigerator ?
Thanks for watching! I wouldn’t recommend it because the fridge will make them cool & moist and you need them to be dry in order for the chocolate to stick. Hope this helps!
Will wax paper work okay if I don’t have parchment paper??
Thanks for watching! Yes wax paper is fine too. I will usually spray with nonstick spray just to be on the safe side.
What does the oil do to the chocolate
Thanks for watching! The oil keeps the chocolate from scorching and helps make it smooth.
What chocolate wafers did you use?
Thanks for watching! I used the chocolate melts from Michael’s.
have you tried the new white chocolate infused strawberries? chocolate on the inside!
Does u have to include oil to make it work?
Hello and thanks for watching. Yes you need some kind of oil to thin and smooth out the chocolate. Hope this helps!!
@@thecraftinistalife can it be any oil??
Get a bowl with ice water and throw the strawberries in then the coating will be even
Can coconut oil work?
Thanks for watching. I have never tried it with coconut oil. I mostly use canola oil or vegetable oil if I don’t have a choice. I don’t see why coconut oil wouldn’t work and add another layer of flavor. I say give it a shot!
Why oil ….? Some ppl don’t use any oil. What’s the purpose…?
How do you get yours to get like hard
Let it set 15 minutes
Cocunut oil is a better alternative.
I thought u had to refrigerate them after your done making them...
Same 😂
Candy melts , not chocolate right?
Cute idea
For this tutorial I used chocolate melts that are sold in a bag. You can find those at craft stores and sometimes Walmart in the party decor sections with other treats and props. You can also use the chocolate chips that are found on most grocery store baking aisles. ❤️
@@thecraftinistalife thanks for the information
What chocolate was that?
The chocolate melts you buy from the craft store.
@@thecraftinistalife ok thank you so much
My chocolate burnt in the microwave not I'm sad
Ziarre Boone hello thanks for watching. Sorry to hear your chocolate burned. The amount of time you warm it for depends on your microwave. I recommend 20 second increments or even 15 seconds until you get a feel for the power of your microwave.
Yes...white chocolate will burn in seconds!! I do half power flour 10 secs. . Rather low and slow than absolute oh No!!🤣
My chocolate won’t melt 😭😭
Oh nooo! What kind of chocolate are you using?
An I used a glass bowl an burnt my finger
Ziarre Boone Hi thanks for watching! I use plastic bowls plastic because glass bowls tend to get hot in the microwave.
