Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods / How To Make Dipped Pretzels

  • DIY Chocolate Covered Pretzels. This was a simple, no frills dessert table for my son’s surprise 18th birthday party. I love frills, but him...not so much!
You can also use a tall mug or cup to dip your pretzels. When I’m making a lot of different treats, I just find it easier to dip them all in the same container.

I have watched multiple videos on dipped pretzels and hands down, yours is the best. Not only do I like how you have less pretzel at the bottom, but the extra step of trimming the excess chocolate with the knife makes yours so much prettier. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial!

    #DamenicaJ.
I've done it pretzels a couple of times now, gave the first ones away, but this second batch was an order (for 6 @ $3 ea.) 1st batch I didn't/wasn't able to do drizzle, this batch I did, I bought some candy melt piping bags and did some drizzles over them and then did white sanding sugar on them, they're regular chocolate flavored candy melts, mixed with almond bark and some coconut oil ... 😊😊😊😊😊 I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO PROUD of myself for doing something out of my comfort zone and I DID IT!!!! 😊😊😊😊
    Thanks for your video!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

If I run out I just use a little vegetable oil.

Once you've coated, instead of placing them directly onto paper, try raising them slightly, on a couple of cocktail sticks maybe. Just a thought to save time. Thanks anyway Dementia.

Thank you so much! You can dip the other end in orange Wilton candy melts or whatever brand melts your local craft store sells.
