- I was definitely surprised at how much fun the 2016 Camaro V6 really was! So in this one I'll go for a test drive in the NEW 2016 Chevrolet Camaro V6 as well as go over the exterior, interior, engine bay, some awesome revs & more!

335 hp is pretty nice for a v6
Especially when the car isn't a fat hog like the challenger. I was looking at a Infiniti G37 that has about the same hp with their 3.7 and rwd

7250 RPM red line is just crazy for what used to be the "rental" option. crazy high revving, sounds great for a 6, and makes 335 HP whats not to like.
side and rear visibility?
unless you're 5'1 and under side visibility is no issue (check out lethal hammers video on that) rear is no worse than the challangers, of course the challanger is bigger.
I am a chev lover my camaro is just fun to drive.

so the automatic is faster than the manual in the V6?
All automatics are quicker than manuals these days. At least in performance cars.
Until you blow the automatic all over the street. Automatic transmissions cant take abuse like a manuel can
A computer controlled manual transmission (paddle shifters) must be the best of both worlds

Nice video. 335hp is more than 02 SS. Great exhaust for a 6. I would assume I could get this motor to 400hp so it becomes a serious thought over the 8.
0 to 60 in 5.1 on stock N/A v6 is really good and has big upgrade potential
I wanted a v8 but its not in my budget .. ill do what people hate the most, im going for a v6 muscle car :)

Rear visibility isn't a problem, it's the B pillar that's the problem

+Dustin G Camaro is easier to shift if you're going with a manual plus there's the back seat which the Z is lacking.... But.... The Z has amazing reliability and is a blast to drift when u turn traction control off. Tough decision!

I'm inclined to agree after looking more into it.
A week ago, I would've said that was a hard decision. However, after this video, I'm (of course) going to say the 1LT.

When I graduated high school in '91 the 5.0 Mustang was the car to have and it was only 225hp. No shame in this 6.

Roger Garcia V8 camaro is super nice but i live in charlotte with a lot of stop and go traffic and dont like to see my money going out the window and what i mean is sitting in the traffic watching the needle just slowly move to the left sucks. got a v6 2016 and its great!!!
Roger Garcia probably V6 camaro don't get me wrong I love the challengers but if you include the weight of the car and the power the challenger puts out is lower than the camaro. It seems both cars are about the same price at least from where I live, good luck with your search

I averaged 38 MPG on my trip from SF to LA on my V6 Camaro.
Camaro can be a 4 cylinder at hwy speeds :)

+Bradley Nichols It pains me to say it cuz I"m actually a huge Mustang fan but the Camaro V6 was definitely more fun to drive! Although I will say the Mustang wins for looks hands down!
+Gold Pony I was a fan of mustang but today I just drove 2.0 turbo camaro, the power is similar for the two cars. But handling and interior is much better for camaro. Now I am the fan of camaro.
