- So pi314159265358978 shows me this piston contraption that can reload chunks. It was clearly block events. Then I go try this device and it doesn't work. Then I want to show to the other guys this thing that doesn't work again and it suddenly works.
This contraption is highly locational and relates to a bug with reloading piston bugs. Don't recommend building it yet - Hry
now we can have "spawn chunks" in the nether in 1.14
ilmango's spawn chunk sheep farm can now be built anywhere (locationality aside)
but doesent it unloes the chunk at 1:04? sure it reloades itself but doesent that create a lot of lag if you would skale this thing up?
That is the most spastic contraption I’ve ever seen in this game
That's quite interesting. Very useful too!
I think you need 3 of these to cover every g-tick. I'm guessing that's why it didn't work the first time (or could be the new hash order) since there would be only 1 in 3 chance of it working (/synchronizing with the force unload). But I don't remember much from my testing, so I shouldn't be backseat gaming :-D
Ran into bunch of issues. looked into it more and found out the reasons. Gonna try make a proper extensive vid about it in a bit.
@@Xcom6000 I'm looking forward to it.
Correct me if I’m wrong but the pistons contraption first time I saw similar was in Panda’s video “Alternative Engine for Pi’s Rotor”
Also you can put another two redstone blocks in that machine
Insanely cool! Explanation pls :P
Lol, I think I ve really seen everything in Minecraft with this
Can you use end portal dupers and things like that with this, or must they not be unloaded for even a single tick? If not are permaloaders becoming useless?
Permaloaders work better for other instances but this works good for single chunk loading.
But couldnt you put hoppers from this chunk to make entity procesing chunks?
Also you didnt answer my question; is it a problem if sand and dragon egg dupers get unloaded for 1 game tick?
@@crazyfreak Given both those need entity loading then its pointless using this over villager loaders. Both those probably would break, never tested. The point of this contraption is to use as few chunks as possible. Can use both chests and hoppers out of this of course but villages work better for that.
Thanks for clarification!
Hello, I would like to use this ChunkDebug tool map. 0x53 said, that it's in a carpet mode, but it isn't. :/
Its in carpet client
Wot the hecc is this nerdy thing
Is that minecraft 1.13 or the new snapshot?
