@@HandsomeGadgets I am looking for a "mesh" system that will cover a large apartment. I am currently using the asus lyra trio, but it's terrible equipment. An old system that doesn't connect well. I've also read reviews about other solutions (e.g. TP link deco, netgear orbi etc) but they also seem to have some problems. I came across a foreign amplifier and it is quite interesting mesh equipment with a future WiFi 6 network. Do you recommend it despite the high price, do I have to look further?

Mbps is megabits per second not megabytes per second...
I like the Alien as it has a super strong signal. It is good if you don’t need advanced configuration like link or WAN aggregation. As ISP get faster the Alien will always be limited to 1 gig speed. If you have no desire to ever go faster than that it is a great router to have for sure.

I currently have a Netgear Nighthawk AX8 and I’m currently debating on switching to this
I think it'll be a good switch if you have WiFi 6 enabled devices. Otherwise, the Amplifi HD works.

@@danellis1049 I did get this earlier this year and I love it. I also sometimes question if I should have gotten the HD version though for more coverage and less money. I have 25 wireless connections and 2 hardwired with a 1gb connection and all is good with 900 ⬆️ and 900 down ⬇️
I really wanna buy this router because it has wifi 6 compatibility, but I need an outdoor AP. Do you know if its possible to buy an unifi outdoor AP and plug it in wired to this router and it will work? I dont want it to work as a mesh because I wil just wire it.

I currently have a AP outside not as a mesh, kinda sux because sometimes it gets stuck with the outdoors AP which doesn’t work as well as the alien.
I currently get 21 download and 3 upload. Do you think that this will be a good purchase. And also would this router be good for gaming?

It's supposed to be 1,000 Mbps down and 40 Mbps up.

If you have a lot of devices that can take the full advantage of WiFi 6, then yes it's an amazing router.

I have the AMPLIFI HD with it Mesh point it seems to hold some of my download speed hostage. I’m paying 1GB with Comcast have the Nextgear 3.1 modem 2.5GB
I see. Then I would upgrade to the Amplifi Alien. You'll notice faster download speeds even on your WiFi 5 devices.

All the router does is send the internet over WiFi.
