- Hi everyone, welcome to the hell, again. Every day, I wake up to the nightmare. By now, I'm so use to it. The younger generation I meet in-person doesn't even believe I'm 39. I'd agree with them. I can't believe I'm 39 already. I still look like a kid. Rise and shine mother trucker, no excuses. Go to work.

Hey man, you popped up in my feed today. You seem very down and I don't want to come off as condescending, but if you're able to reduce whatever hours you're working, maybe even move to another cheaper city for it. I think I saw a radiology keychain. look for a smaller more peripheral hospital and a cheaper flat and maybe get out of the big city for a while. If you have any means to modulate whatever stress you're feeling please do so. It may be that you feel trapped or you actually are, but please take care of you in whatever way you can. Show yourself love however you're able to. Maybe also look for a psychiatric assessment if you're able to, all that can help. Sending you love and some hope for yourself. You don't have to subscribe to whatever surrounds you, but maybe you can still feel connected to people.

I have this pattern where I reach a certain point in savings of moneys and I quit my job and lose the desire to work until right before the money runs out. Then I get another job and it starts all over again. Ive been renting rooms in peoples houses for the past 7 years so I only pay around $500 for housing. Recently the money got low again so I started working but im becoming more interested in what I can make/do myself so I can live on part time work
Edit: the desire for work wasnt completely gone and the quitting was unplanned just part of the pattern. Once I rented in a town house and another time it was in an apartment but almost every time I found them on Craigslist. I also have taken breaks where I used my gi bill to go to school and they paid me a stipend for housing so its been a mix of things.

Go to Albania bro. They give a one year free visa on arrival. All inclusive I only spent 7k for everything during my year. Local apartment on a Mediterranean beach, mountains, healthy food, nice people.
That’s the route I might go. I got an apartment but I could save an extra $900 just renting a room. And feel a little more free. I’m always worried about a cavity or a car repair out of nowhere.

My buddy’s gf is nurse practitioner. Got all the vaccines and boosters. She just got Covid for the 4th time last week. I fought it off after her being over at his place with us, and passing it to us. Side note: Nothing more motivating than working full time, knowing you’re barely going to be able to cover your bills and never get anywhere 🤦♂️
